  • This study assesses the Internet banking adoption tendency by existing bank customers of Bangladesh. Currently, almost all the leading banks in the country have implemented Internet banking platforms. However, the active user count remains relatively low and there hasn't been any conclusive research on the drivers and inhibitors of Internet banking. This study evaluates the reasons and quantitatively establishes the factors leading to the adoption and usage continuance of internet banking by existing bank customers. Responses from 460 bank account holders were collected via online questionnaires using a purposive sampling approach, and a core conceptual framework based on Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Technology Readiness Index (TRI) was used. The study concluded that internet banking adoption is significantly impacted by the ease of use, customer service, and technology familiarity. Similarly, customer satisfaction is affected by the perceived value and the perceived risk. Through regression analysis, it was found that usage continuance is 89% explained by adoption and customer satisfaction. Multi-group moderation showed significant impact by groups divided based on usage frequency, income level, and age. Perceived risk weakened the impact of perceived value and technology familiarity on usage adoption. Additionally, perceived risk reduced the impact of consumer satisfaction and usage continuance.

  • Although the study in If behavior field has recently increased, only few studies have focused on the moderating effect of adopter type on the post adoption behavior The purpose of this study is to verify the post-adoption behavior depending on adopter types in the mobile Internet domains. This study proposed a post adoption model based on prior continuance model. This theoretical model was verified empirically by conducting web surveys and multi group analysis. Based on the survey data, we classified users into continuer and discontinuer. This paper ends with theoretical and managerial implications of the study results, as well as limitations and future research directions.

  • This study conducted an empirical study on factors affecting the continuous use of mobile payment for users. Based on Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Extended Expectation-Confirmation Model of lS Continuance (ECM-ISC), we set up the model and hypothesis by adding habit and utilization range as independent variables. We received 426 valid questionnaires from users who have used continuously mobile payments such as Alipay and Wechatpay in China. The collected data was analyzed by SPSS for validity, reliability, factor analysis, T-test and regression analysis. The result shows that perceived usefulness, perceived risk, habits and utilization range have positive effects on users who use AliPay. Users who use Wechatpay have been affected by perceived usefulness, perceived use of ease, habit and application scope. However, the social influence does not affect both.

  • Chatbot services have become an essential communication tool for interacting with consumers in e-commerce. To understand consumer behavior in the context of chatbot services, we apply the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) to analyze continuance intention to use and additional predictors to explain behavioral intention. An analysis of data collected from 300 digital shopping users who had experienced chatbot services revealed that an extended TPB model holds for the continuous use of chatbot services, driven by both interaction and information quality. Accordingly, these ndings provide a better understanding of consumer behavior toward chatbot services and valuable insights into digital customer relationship management.

  • The second-generation mobile instant messaging (SMIM) proliferates with various relationship management functions: group chats, audio/video chats, file sharing, real-time location sharing, and nonverbal graphics, such as emojis and stickers. This study integrates the important but often overlooked affordances theory into innovation diffusion and proposes an SMIM continuance intention model. SMIM is a social affordance platform for users to develop new friendships and maintain their relationships. Integrated diffusion of innovation and affordance theoretical frameworks, this study investigates the influence of four factors on the success of using SMIM apps to improve friendship development and relationship management. Data were collected from 231 participants using a survey questionnaire in a public university in Taiwan. The findings confirm the effects of friendship development and relationship maintenance on the intention of users to continue using SMIM apps. Implications for research and practice are discussed.

The participants of the online survey were young Chinese females, instructed to practice their routine of watching vlog and the fixed vlog channels. By the interpersonal process of intimacy model and media synchronicity theory, the results of the structural equation modeling revealed that self-disclosure (audience's disclosure) and partner responsiveness (vlogger's disclosure) form the experience of intimacy in interactions. Also, the quick immediacy of feedback, rich symbol set, and content authenticity positively impacted intimacy development. Meanwhile, intimacy enables the audience to form a continuous viewing behavior.
