e-러닝과 m-러닝 환경에서 영어학습자들의 학습환경에 대한 심리적 행동에 대한 차이 (The experimental study of understanding English learners' psychological attitudes: A comparison between e-러닝 and m-러닝)

  • Many aspects of e-러닝 and m-러닝 have been conducted in language learning settings while few studies have examined learners'psychological attitudes in both Internet-based languages learning environment. Althoughe-Learning and m-Learningin the content of language learningshares many common aspects, the study that particularly examinesEnglish learners' psychological attitudes from both learning environments has not been conducted. Thus, the purpose of this study is to investigate group difference between e-러닝 and m-러닝 in terms of characteristics of both learning environments, including Contextual Offer, Interactivity, Enjoyment, Usefulness, Easiness, Variety, Connectivity, Satisfaction, and Learning Performance. Results showed that even if there was little difference within and among groups in English learners' feelings, learners have different attitude on Enjoyment, Easiness, and Connectivity.

  • The mobile computing environment has already matured and mobile services are activated throughout many industries. In the following years, these changes are expected to evolve into a ubiquitous computing environment. In the meantime, whether newly developed information technologies will thrive or diminished depends on user's intention to adopt them. Hence, the necessity of user-centered research considering ubiquitous computing in mobile computing environment is obvious. This study, thus, investigated ubiquitous factors in various literature related to ubiquitous computing and technology acceptance and it proposes a research model of the ubiquitous factors affecting user's intention to use mobile services, in terms of meaning(connectivity, mobility), service(contextual offer), compatibility(compatibility), and infrastructure(privacy, truth). The proposed model is expected to help both researchers and practitioners extend their understanding about the ubiquitous factors in mobile computing environment

Revitalization of Chinese Tourism in Baotu Spring Park of Jinan through Service Design Thinking

  • Baotu Spring Park, a must-visit place in Jinan, China, has been rated as the country's highest-level scenic spot by the Chinese government. However, social media that highly reflects public opinions tends to express a lower evaluation of Baotu Spring Park. Thus, this paper employs service design thinking methods to identify the problems of Baotu Spring Park and provide solutions from the perspective of visitors. Based on desk research, tourist behavior tracking, contextual interviews, and a customer journey map, it was found that the service gap of Baotu Spring Park lacks a unified and effective instruction system. Also, the activities, parking, and high-quality tourist souvenirs are deficient, and there is no online information delivery platform. Finally, five suggestions are made,-respectively:,- redesign the sign system, enhance the participation of tourists, redesign the tourist souvenirs and display space, offer parking areas and shuttle buses, as well as set up a dedicated application.

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a functional contextual intervention approach based on the behavioral theory on human language, which views human suffering as originating in psychological inflexibility fostered by cognitive fusion and experiential avoidance. Thus, the goal of ACT is to enhance psychological flexibility using six core processes including acceptance, cognitive defusion, self-as-context, contact with present moment, values clarification, and committed action. Recent clinical trials have suggested the efficacy for ACT in the treatment of various mental illness and psychological distress. The aim of this review is to offer more knowledge and better understanding of ACT by presenting its underlying principle and an overview of the research field.

지각된 상호작용성이 모바일 패션 쇼핑몰 구매의도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of perceived interactivity on purchase intention of mobile fashion shopping malls)

  • In this study, we identified the factors of perceived interactivity and verified the path model of effects of these factors on mobile fashion shopping purchase intention through perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. To develop the conceptual model, we consulted the related precedent studies and searched various kinds of literatures. To verify the conceptual model, we conducted the survey targeting smartphone users in their 20s~30s and analyzed the structural equation model using AMOS 16.0. The results were as follows. Control, responsiveness and two-way communication, and contextual offer were identified as the factors of perceived interactivity. Perceived interactivity and perceived ease of use had positive effect on perceived usefulness. Perceived usefulness affected attitude toward purchase, and attitude toward purchase influenced positively on purchase intention. Perceived usefulness affected purchase intention directly as well as indirectly through attitude toward purchase. Based on the results, we proposed the marketing strategies for mobile fashion shopping businesses.

모바일 패션 쇼핑 특성과 지각된 상호작용성, 지각된 유용성이 구매의도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of mobile fashion shopping characteristics, perceived interactivity, and perceived usefulness on purchase intention)

  • The purpose of this study was to verify the effect of mobile fashion shopping characteristics and perceived interactivity on perceived usefulness, and the effect of perceived usefulness on purchase attitude and purchase intention based on TAM (Technology Acceptance Model). We conducted the survey targeting smartphone users in their 20s~30s living in Seoul and metropolitan area. Among 483 data collected, we used 452 samples except 31 unreliable respondents for the analysis. To analyze the structural equation model, we did factor analysis, reliability analysis, and structural equation model analysis using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 16.0. The results were as follows: We confirmed 5 mobile fashion shopping characteristics (enjoyment, credibility, instant connectivity, security, and personalization) and 3 perceived interactivity factors (control, responsiveness and two-way communication, and contextual offer) as results of confirmative factor analysis. Mobile fashion shopping characteristics and perceived interactivity had positive effects on perceived usefulness. Mobile fashion shopping characteristics affected perceived interactivity and also had indirect effect on perceived usefulness via perceived interactivity. In other words, mobile fashion shopping characteristics had direct and indirect effect on perceived usefulness. Perceived usefulness influenced purchase attitude and purchase attitude influenced purchase intention. Perceived usefulness had direct effect on purchase intention and the indirect effect through purchase attitude was significant.

경량 온톨로지 생성 연구 (A Study for the Generation of the Lightweight Ontologies)

  • This paper illustrates the application of co-occurrence theory to generate lightweight ontologies semi-automatically. The proposed model includes three steps of a (Semi-) Automatic creation of Ontology; (they are conceptually named as) the Syntactic-based Ontology, the Semantic-based Ontology and the Ontology Refinement. Each of these three steps are designed to interactively work together, so as to generate Lightweight Ontologies. The Syntactic-based Ontology step includes generating Association words using co-occurrence in web documents. The Semantic-based Ontology step includes the Alignment large Association words with small Ontology, through the process of semantic relations by contextual terms. Finally, the Ontology Refinement step includes the domain expert to refine the lightweight Ontologies. We also conducted a case study to generate lightweight ontologies in specific domains(news domain). In this paper, we found two directions including (1) employment co-occurrence theory to generate Syntactic-based Ontology automatically and (2) Alignment large Association words with small Ontology to generate lightweight ontologies semi-automatically. So far as the design and the generation of big Ontology is concerned, the proposed research will offer useful implications to the researchers and practitioners so as to improve the research level to the commercial use.

미국기업의 CSR 활동에 애널리스트가 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (The Impact of Analyst Expectations and Coverage on CSR Engagement of U.S. Firms)

  • Despite the numerous advantages that CSR engagement can potentially offer, top managers may not always be willing to invest in CSR as they are expected to meet expectations of external constituents in the short run. Given that financial analysts' expectations are important short-term performance targets that top managers are motivated to meet, this study examines how performance relative to earnings forecasts issued by analysts affect top managers' decisions about CSR engagement. Using a sample of publicly listed U.S. firms from 2000 to 2016, we find that top managers are more likely to reduce discretionary expenditure on CSR activities as performance falls below analyst forecasts to improve financial performance in the following fiscal year. As performance exceeds analyst forecasts, top managers are motivated to reduce CSR investments in order to meet higher expectations of analysts. As financial analysts closely monitor the firms that they follow in order to publish investment advice to market participants, we find that analyst coverage weakens top managers' incentive to reduce CSR engagement. Overall, this research sheds meaningful insight into the contextual background in which the top managers are situated in when they make decisions on CSR engagement.

지식생태계의 조직화: 플랫폼 리더의 조직역량이 지식창출을 위한 기업간 협력의 확장에 미치는 영향 (Organizing knowledge ecosystems: The influence of organizational capabilities of platform leaders on multi-firm collaborations for knowledge creation)

  • This paper presents a knowledge-based view of platform-centered collaborations among multiple organizations. Studies of technological innovation and knowledge creation have broadened beyond their initial emphasis on internal development within an organization or simple exchange of ideas between two parties toward complex collaboration among many organizations at the level of platform-based knowledge ecosystems. Platforms serve as an interface between different groups of producers and consumers in a variety of multi-sided knowledge markets such as smartphone operating systems and video games industries. This study is an exploratory examination to offer theoretical understanding of how the organizational capabilities of platform leaders help expand a network of platform participants. The growth of platform participants is particularly important in the early stage of any platforms as the concept of network effects suggests that the platform with the largest number of participants will capture entire markets. Building upon organization studies and network economics theory on multisided markets, this paper focuses on the role of platform leaders in expanding platform-based collaboration. In our view, platform leaders develop varying levels of three organizational capabilities to discern quality of potential participants, to attract them to actually participate in collaboration, and to maintain long-term exchange relations in the ecosystem. We suggest that the capabilities of platform leaders will have a positive effect on the expansion of platform participants to secure network effects, and also examine several contextual factors that moderate the relationship between a platform leader's capacity and platform expansion.

비대면 시대의 지식정보취약계층 일상생활 정보요구와 도서관 이용 경험에 관한 연구 (A Study on Everyday Life Information Seeking and User Experience of Public Library in Contactless Society)

  • 본 연구는 일상생활정보 이론을 기반으로 A자치구 66명의 장애인과 노인의 정보활동과 도서관 이용 경험에 대하여 조사하였다. 계량적 분석과 더불어 11명의 심층인터뷰를 통해 이들이 경험하는 일상생활 정보활동에 대한 맥락적 상황을 분석하였다. 연구 결과 장애인과 노인은 신체적, 심리적인 고립감이 비대면 시기에 심화되고 있고, 도와줄 인적 자원이 없으며, 온라인 정보기술의 활용과 정보 판단의 어려움을 겪고 있음이 나타났다. 이들의 정보 습득 경로는 가족이나 지인 등을 통해 얻기 보다는 지역 복지관을 주로 이용하는 것으로 나타났다. 반면에 새로운 것을 배우고, 다양한 문화적 활동을 체험하며, 책을 통해 마음의 위로를 받기 위해서 도서관을 이용하고자 하였다. 도서관을 이용해 본 경험이 있는 장애인과 노인의 경우 도서관 서비스에 대한 만족도가 매우 높았으며 삶의 활력, 시간의 유용성, 배움의 기회, 미래에 대한 긍정성을 갖게 되었다. 비대면 시기에 폭증하는 온라인 정보의 옳고 그름을 판단하는 능력과 사람들과 교류할 수 있는 디지털 기술의 활용 등 디지털리터러시 위한 교육은 절실함이 나타났다. 본 연구는 지식정보취약계층이 디지털 시대의 사회참여자로서 문화적 향유를 누리며 삶에서 새로운 가치를 주체적으로 만들어 내기 위해서 정보격차 불평등을 완화시키는 것이 필수적이며 그 중심에 도서관이 있음을 제시하였다. 매슬로우의 5단계 욕구 중 생리적 욕구, 안전 욕구의 기초복지를 기반으로 사회 참여, 존중, 자아실현의 욕구 등 문화복지, 정보복지 영역으로 확장해야 한다고 제언하였다. 이를 구현하기 위해서 지역사회 공공도서관이 특수도서관, 유형별 복지관, 행정 기관 등과 유기체적으로 협력하여 아웃리치 서비스, 인적 리에종 서비스 강화, 협력 장서 개발, 문화복지 프로그램 개발이 필요함을 제시하였으며, 가장 중요한 요소로 이들을 진심으로 이해하고 다가가는 인적 서비스임을 강조하였다.
