To facilitate the implementation of a wide variety of context-aware applications based on mobile devices, general-purpose context-aware framework that applications can use by calling is needed. The context-aware framework is a middleware that performs the sensing, reasoning, and retrieving based on the knowledge base. The knowledge base must systematically represent the information required on the behavior of the context-aware framework, such as context information and reasoning information. It must also provide functions for storage and retrieval. To date, previous research on the representation of the context information have been carried out, but studies on the unified representation of the knowledge base has seen little progress. This study defines the knowledge base as the unified context information, and proposes the UniOWL, which can do a good job of representing it. UniOWL is based on OWL and represents the information that is necessary for the operation of the context-aware framework. Therefore, UniOWL greatly facilitates the implementation of the knowledge base on a context-aware framework.

Recent ubiquitous computing environments increasingly impact on our lives using the current technologies of sensor network and ubiquitous services. In this paper, we propose ubiquitous architectural framework for ubiquitous sleep aid service(UbiSAS) in the subset of ubiquitous computing for refreshing of human's sleep. And we examine technical feasibility. Human can recover his health through refreshing sleep from fatigue. Ubiquitous architectural framework for UbiSAS in digital home offers agreeable sleeping environment and improves recovery from fatigue. So we present new concept of ubiquitous architectural framework dissolving stress. Specially, we apply context to context-aware framework module. This context is transferred to context adaptive inference engine which has service invocation function in intelligent agent module. Ubiquitous architectural framework for UbiSAS using context adaptive rule inference engine without user intervention is technical issue. That is to say, we should take sleep comfortably during our sleeping. And sensed information during sleeping is changed to context-aware information. This presents significant information in context adaptive rule inference engine for UbiSAS. This information includes all sleeping state during sleeping in context-aware computing technique. So we propose more effective and most suitable ubiquitous architectural framework using context adaptive rule inference engine for refreshing sleep in this paper.

With the recent advance in smartphones, users are allowed to use mobile applications anytime anywhere, and change their way to interact with smart environment and people. As a result, the need for developing context-aware applications on smartphones has a great attention from users and developers. This paper proposes a context-aware framework for supporting UI/UX of smartphones. The proposed framework collects a wide range of sensory data from smartphones and allows developers to analyze and model context models for their desired apps. In addition, it also supports real-time inference within the apps to make them to adapt to context. In order to show effectiveness of the proposed framework, we introduce two smartphone apps: context-aware home screen and automatic detection of smartphone problem use. Therefore, we expect that the proposed framework will help developers easily implement their apps with respect to context-awareness.

LBS must manage various context data and make the best use of this data for application service in ubiquitous environment. Conventional mobile object data management architecture did not consider process of context data. Therefore a new mobile data management framework is needed to process location context data. In this paper, we design a new context management framework for a location based application service. A suggestion framework is consisted of context collector, context manager, rule base, inference engine, and mobile object context database. It describes a form of rule base and a movement process of inference engine that are based on location based application scenario. It also presents an embodiment instance of interface which suggested framework is applied to location context interference of mobile object.

Many researchers have developed frameworks that are capable of handling context information and can be adapted and used by any Web service. However, no research involving the systematic analysis of existing frameworks has yet been conducted. This paper examines the Context Framework, an example of existing frameworks, using a Petri net, and analyzes its advantages and disadvantages. Then, a Petri net model - with its disadvantages removed - is introduced, and a new framework is presented on the basis of that model. The proposed PAWS (Privacy Aware Web Services) framework has a expendability for context management and communicates flexible context information for every session. The proposed framework can solve overhead problems of context in SOAP messages. It also protects user privacy according to user preferences.

The growing popularity of the Internet has caused the size and complexity of communications and computing systems to greatly increase in recent years. To alleviate this increased management complexity, novel autonomic management architectures have emerged, in which many automated components manage the network's resources in a distributed fashion. However, in order to achieve effective collaboration between these management components, they need to be able to efficiently exchange information in a timely fashion. In this article, we propose a context dissemination framework that addresses this problem. To achieve scalability, the management components are structured in a hierarchy. The framework facilitates the aggregation and translation of information as it is propagated through the hierarchy. Additionally, by way of semantics, context is filtered based on meaning and is disseminated intelligently according to dynamically changing context requirements. This significantly reduces the exchange of superfluous context and thus further increases scalability. The large size of modern federated cloud computing infrastructures, makes the presented context dissemination framework ideally suited to improve their management efficiency and scalability. The specific context requirements for the management of a cloud data center are identified, and our context dissemination approach is applied to it. Additionally, an extensive evaluation of the framework in a large-scale cloud data center scenario was performed in order to characterize the benefits of our approach, in terms of scalability and reasoning time.

본 논문은 안드로이드 기반 상황 인지 스마트폰 애플리케이션들의 유기적인 결합을 위한 프레임워크에 관한 것이다. 스마트폰을 이용한 상황인지 시스템에는 콘텍스트 수집, 수집된 콘텍스트를 해석 및 추론한 하이레벨 콘텍스트, 그리고 사용자에게 직접적으로 서비스를 제공해주는 시스템 등이 있다. 기존의 안드로이드는 이러한 여러 독립된 모듈들을 통합하여 유기적으로 결합시킬 적절한 방법을 제시하지 못한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 각 시스템을 컴포넌트화 하고, 각 컴포넌트가 필요한 서비스를 제공하며, 안드로이드 플랫폼을 감추는 방식으로 유기적인 결합을 위한 복잡도를 최소화시켜 개발자에게 편의를 제공하는 프레임워크를 제안한다.

웹서비스는 플랫폼 독립적 인 소프트웨어 어플리케이션으로 이기종간 상호 연동성이 필요한 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅에 가장 적합한 기술이라 할 수 있다. 유비쿼터스 웹서비스는 어떠한 단말이나 네트워크 환경에서도 다양한 응용 서비스를 연계/융합/이용할 수 있도록 하는 미래형 웹서비스 기술이다. [7] 유비쿼터스의 주요 특징으로서 상황 인식 (context-aware)을 고려하여 유비쿼터스 웹서비스 환경을 구축하기 위해서는 상황 인식에 대한 처리가 필요하다. 아울러 상황 인식은 실시간으로 변하는 개인정보를 수집하므로 사용자에 대한 프라이버시 문제가 함께 고려되어야 한다. 그러나 현재의 웹서비스 표준은 Context의 전달에 대해 구체적으로 명시하지 않고 있으며 따라서 Context 정보를 유연성 있게 부가할 수 있는 프레임워크 구조가 필요하다. 제안한 프레임워크는 Contex에 대한 확장성을 부여하고 세션마다 Contex 정보를 유연하게 전달할 수 있다. 따라서 기존 프레임워크에서 발생할 수 있는 SOAP메시지의 Context오버헤드 문제를 해결할 수 있다. 또한 사용자 Preference에 따라 Context의 공개 여부가 결정되므로 사용자의 프라이버시 문제를 해결하고 있다.

Social media marketing has gained attention from marketers because of the growing number of social media users. Considering the unique context of each company or organization behind the marketing is necessary when choosing and applying various social media marketing strategies to ensure achievement of better business performance. However, previous studies have focused on context-specific marketing strategies. Accordingly, this study aims to develop context-specific social media marketing strategies. In this study, we first develop a conceptual framework with two items, namely, brand awareness and business orientation of an organization, as criteria, and classify the framework into four contexts. We then propose context-specific social media marketing strategies for each of the contexts. We examine the framework and proposed social media marketing strategies based on multiple case studies. The primary contribution of this study is our context-specific social media marketing strategies.

본 논문에서 제안한 시스템은 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서 사용자에게 상황 인식 서비스와 주변 환경에 지능적인 상호 작용을 제공한다. 따라서, 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅의 다양한 상황과 환경에서 시스템은 컨텍스트 정보를 수집과 분석을 하기 위해 상황 인식 능력을 필요 하게 된다. 그러나 현재의 상황 인식 시스템은 다양한 타입에서 컨텍스트의 체계적인 이용에 부족하고, 단지 몇몇 시스템들은 한정된 환경에서 각자 사용자의 선호도를 획득하는 학습 매커니즘을 가진다. 본 논문에서는, 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서 상황 인식을 위한 개괄적인 프레임워크를 제안한다. 본 프레엄워크는 다양한 센서로부터 컨텍스트의 다양한 타입을 쉽게 이용하고 생성할 수 있게 만들어졌다. 프레엄워크는 동적 환경에서 사용자에게 서비스를 제공하기 위하여 센서, 통합, 추론 그리고 학습 컨텍스트 정보를 제공한다. 그리고 사용자의 건강을 실시간으로 관리할 수 있는 u-Health 시스템에 제안한 프레임워크를 적용을 하여 구현을 하였다.
