DRM Enabled P2P Model for Contents Protection (콘텐츠 보호를 위한 DRM이 적용된 P2P 모델)

  • P2P(Peer To Peer) system, a most attractive file sharing system, is the largest channel of contents distribution and it takes 50% of network traffic. But P2P systems are infamous for used to illegal contents distribution channel not only in music industry, but also in movie industry. But, DRM(Digital Right Management) enabled P2P models are not suggested until now that interrupting illegal contents distribution and keeping advantage of P2P. So in this paper, we suggest a DRM enabled P2P model that can support distributed processing ability and high scalability with no modification in exist P2P model or architecture.

A Study on the Harmonics of Distribution Power System Interconnected with Distributed Generation (분산전원의 배전계통 연계 시 발생하는 고조파에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, the analysis of the harmonics of distribution power system interconnected with DG(distributed generation) is simulated by using PSCAD/EMTDC and evaluated the harmonics. The modeling system for simulation is similar to the actual distribution system, and solar power system. The simulation analyses are performed at connection points for each sector. Harmonic standards of interconnection with DG (IEEE Std 1547 and IEEE Std 519) are applied to the evaluation algorithm, converted the simulated data through FFT method, evaluated by THD and TDD separately. The harmonic contents in the case of without DG and each sector with DG are evaluated and compared. The results of evaluation showed the effect that the harmonic contents are appropriated at all sector with DG (without DG) in the distribution power systems but the large induction motor(50KW) is increased the harmonic contents.

Toxic Effects and Distribution of Mercury in Barley Seedlings (보리 유식물에 처리한 수은의 분포 및 독성 연구)

  • The inhibitory effects of mercury ions on the growth of barley seedlings were studied and the distribution of metal elements in the organs of treated plants was investigated by using synchrotron radiation induced X-ray emission (SRIXE). Although the treatment of mercury ions caused growth inhibition, the mercury-specific increase in variable fluorescence and the abolishment of energy-dependent quenching in broken barley chloroplasts as shown by Moon et at. (1992) were not observed in the leaves of growth-inhibited seedlings. Instead the treatment of mercury decreased Fmax and Fo values. However, Fmax/Fo ratio and photochemical and nonphotochemical quenching coefficients were not affected significantly. By SRIXE analysis of $10\mu\textrm{m}$ mercury chloride treated seedlings, accumulation of mercury in roots was observed after 1 hour of treatment and similar concentration was sustained for 48 hours. Relative contents of mercury was high in roots and underground nodes where seeds were attachedl but was very low in leaves. Iron and zinc were also distributed mainly in the lower parts of the seedlings. However after 72 hours of treatment the contents of these metals in roots decreased and their distribution became more uniform, which may lead to death of the plants. These results suggest that the observed inhibitory effects on barley seedlings upto 48 hours after the treatment is not due to direct damages in the photosynthetic apparatus, but due to its accumulation in roots and the consequent retardation of the growth of barley seedlings. The decrease in Fmax and Fo is probably due to the decrease in chlorophyll and protein contents caused by the retardation of growth. The observed slow expansion of primary leaves could be also explained by the retardation of growth, but the fluorescence induction pattern from the leaves did not show characteristic symptoms of leaves under water stress.

  • IPTV(Internet Protocol Television) is one of the typical businesses which are the convergence of Broadcast and Communication. It provides broadcasting service using IP networks. Recently, IPTV service is developed to Mobile IPTV or Open IPTV. Especially, Open IPTV uses open platform so not only service providers but also general users can provide contents to other users. Open IPTV system has many content providers, so existing security solution of IPTV cannot be adopted. In this paper, we suggest user authentication and key distribution mechanism on Open IPTV. Our proposed mechanism is based on Kerberos, so it can support distribution environment such as Open IPTV. We demonstrate that proposed mechanism can guarantee secure transmission of contents and reduce the delay of user authentication on Open IPTV system compared to other authentication mechanisms. We also compare our proposal and other mechanisms in various aspects, and analyze efficiency and safety of proposed mechanism. As a result, we insist that this mechanism satisfies the security requirements for IPTV.

Element distribution of the surface sediments from the loess plateau in China (황토고원 표층 시료의 원소분포 특성)

  • The chemical composition distribution of the surface samples collected from the loess plateau in China were estimated. Major elements concentration distribution difference between 10 different sampling site were not found except sample 3. This sample had higher contents of Ca, Mg, LOI and lower contents of Si, Fe, P, Na, Ti. And also, minor element contents such as Ba, Cr, Nb, Pb, Rb, Zr, V were lower than other samples. UCC-normalized abundances of the most elements were within $0.5-1.5{\times}UCC$ and Cr showed enrichment aspect. Rare-earth element (REE) analysis results showed light REE enriched pattern compared to heavy REE with negative Eu anomaly in condrite-normalized REE pattern.

  • In this paper, we propose user contents using behavior and location information on contents on various channels, such as web, IPTV, for contents distribution. With methods to build user and contents profiles, contents using behavior as an implicit user feedback was applied into machine learning procedure for updating user profiles and contents preference. In machine learning procedure, contents-based and collaborative filtering methods were used to analyze user's contents preference. This study proposes contents location information on web sites for final recommendation contents as well. Finally, we refer to a generalized recommender system for personalization. With those methods, more effective and accurate recommendation service can be possible.

  • 본 논문에서는 한화 109조 원을 돌파하는 전 세계 게임 시장에서 매출의 중요성에 대해 제시한다. 게임을 홍보할 수 있는 수단인 인터넷 방송과 게임 구매를 결합시킨 ESD 방식에 대한 조사 내용 및 분석한 결과도 제시한다. 이전에 존재하지 않았던 구매방식으로 사용자가 더욱 편리한 방법으로 게임을 구매하여 게임의 판매 수익을 증대시키고 인터넷 방송과 스트리머의 효율성을 높여 게임 개발사, 유통사, 스트리머, 사용자 모두 상부상조하여 부가가치까지 얻을 수 있는 방법도 함께 제시한다.

  • The Internet technologies allows anybody who has connect a network to access various multimedia information. But, it brings new issues about the violation of intellectual property and copyright of multimedia contents. Digital right managements have been actively studied as approaches to solve them. In this paper, we propose license-based schemes for the protection of contents and its rights on digital right management. The proposed schemes provide limited distribution and superdistribution of contents, and guarantee to securely use contents by usage rules.

  • I would like to analyze the customers accommodation availability of the provisional 'smart board,' having specific mode and style, as a circulation platform of digital contents with using a statistic model in order to find a way and means to activate legal circulation of convergence individual products. The smart board means a circulation platform for both users' convenience and copyright protection, by being conveniently able to upload personal convergence digital contents or apply various licence to the uploaded contents according to the purpose of use. Under these premises of the smart board, this paper is going to focus on verifying to find out which factors, such as users' profile attributes, contents using behaviors, awareness of licence and etc, influence on the intention of using the smart board of general users by using a logistic regression model.
