Inaction Inertia Impacting Purchase Intention for Fashion Products and Moderation of Involvement

  • Time-limited promotions have become a popular strategy across various product categories including fashion mobile platforms. While consumer feel content and satisfied when they get this , those who miss the opportunity may develop negative feelings and tend to give up on additional price discounts. This phenomenon, known as inaction inertia, has been a crucial subject of consumer behavior research. However, the underlying mechanism within the context of fashion consumption has yet to be discussed. This study investigated whether consumers show inaction inertia when purchasing fashion products and whether involvement moderates product purchases in inaction inertia situations. Hypotheses were tested through an online survey with 336 Korean participants based on fictitious purchase scenarios. In the results, the hypothesized negative influence of inaction inertia on purchase intention for fashion products was statistically confirmed. Furthermore, the hypothesized moderation effect of involvement in the mechanism was confirmed - only within the high (vs. low) age group. To explain, the negative effect of inaction inertia significantly decreases among older consumers of high (vs. low) involvement levels. We contributed to the related academic flow by performing an experimental study on inaction inertia, which had relatively little empirical research compared to the influence confirmed in practice so far. We also provided a novel idea by demonstrating that the moderating effect of product involvement differs depending on the age group.

라이브커머스 품질특성과 구매의도와의 관계: 고객 관여도의 조절효과 (Moderating Effect of Customer Involvement on the relationship of Live-commerce quality and intention to purchase)

  • 이 연구는 라이브커머스의 품질요인이 고객의 구매의도에 미치는 영향과, 그 관계에 있어서 고객관여도의 조절효과에 대해 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구를 위해 라이브커머스를 사용하는 대학생 및 일반인을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 데이터분석을 위해 신뢰도분석, 요인분석, 분산분석, 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 라이브커머스의 품질요인은 콘텐츠, 시스템, 서비스, 쇼호스트 특성으로 구분하였으며, 고객관여도는 상품관여도와 서비스관여도로 나누어 분석하였다. 연구결과 각 품질요인은 모두 고객의 구매의도에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 한편 고객의 상품관여도는 콘텐츠 및 시스템 품질에, 서비스관여도는 서비스 및 쇼호스트 특성에 유의적인 조절효과가 있었으며, 각 품질요인이 구매의도에 미치는 정도는 고객관여도가 높을수록 더 높게 나타났다. 본 연구는 라이브커머스의 품질요소와 구매의도간의 관계에서 고객관여도가 어떤 조절효과가 있는지 학술적인 성과를 추가하였고, 라이브커머스에서 고객의 구매를 유도하기 위해 개별 고객의 상품관여도 및 서비스관여도 정도를 고려하여 맟춤식 지원을 해야 한다는 실무적 시사점을 제공한다.

  • 본 연구는 인터넷 미디어 및 1인 미디어 환경, 특히 어디서든 접속, 시청 가능한 모바일 미디어를 선도하는 1인 미디어 크리에이터들의 변별이 사용자 태도와 지속적인 구독의도에 미치는 영향을 연구하는 데 있다. 특히, 유튜브로 대변되는 1인 미디어 시장의 상황을 파악하고 미디어 시장을 구성하는 각 주체들 및 구성요소들 간의 관계성 그리고 생태를 탐색하고자 하였으며, 유튜브 크리에이터의 특성이 콘텐츠관여도와 사용자태도 간의 관계, 사용자태도와 구독의도 간의 관계, 그리고 콘텐츠관여도가 크리에이터특성과 사용자태도 간의 관계에서 매개효과를 갖는지를 파악하고자 연구를 진행하였다. 연구방법은, 먼저 이론적 정립을 위해 기 발표된 국내·외 학위 및 학술지 논문 등을 수집 고찰하여 정리하였고, 수립된 연구모형의 객관적 타당성 및 검증을 위해 현재 유튜브를 시청하는 성인남녀에게 설문을 진행한 후 최종 유효 표본을 통해 실증분석을 실시하였으며, 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째 크리에이터의 특성과 콘텐츠관여도 간의 관계에서 유희성과 신뢰성은 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났으나 전문성은 유의하게 나타났다. 둘째, 크리에이터의 특성과 사용자태도 간의 관계는 전문성은 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났으나 유희성과 신뢰성은 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 콘텐츠관여도와 사용자태도 간의 관계는 유의한 영향을, 넷째, 사용자태도와 구독의도 간의 관계도 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 콘텐츠관여도의 매개효과를 검증한 결과, 콘텐츠관여도는 크리에이터의 특성(유희성, 신뢰성, 전문성)과 사용자태도 간의 관계를 완전매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 결론 부분에 이를 토대로 유추할 수 있는 시사점과 향후 추가 연구를 위한 제언 등을 제시하였다.

패션상품의 광고에 나타난 문화적 특성과 소구유형 (Cultural Characteristics and Product Appeals Reflected on Fashion Ads)

  • This research was to see if the fashion product ads are standardized or differentiated, and to find what were the determinants if any differentiation existed. The purpose of this study was to identify cultural characteristics significant on marketing fashion produce. In addition, the relative importance of product appeals between rational and emotional in the fashion ads was examined. Hofstede's(l991) three cultural characteristics dimensions such as individualism-collectivism, power distance, masculinity-femininity were used. Content analysis was applied in the study. Magazine ads of apparel, cosmetics and accessories were collected from France, Japan, Korea and the US in 1999-2000. Cultural characteristics of the fashion ads were evaluated and compared in terms of country, product type and product involvement. Also ten consumption appeals were examined for county and product type. ANOVA, Duncan test and $X^2$ test were applied to analyze data. The results were shown as follows: First, all the cultural characteristics such as individualism-collectivism, power distance, and femininity-masculinity were different among countries. Second, two product appeals were significantly different among countries. Hedonic appeals were dominant fur France and the US while those were not for Korea and Japan. Third, product involvement level had significant impact on power distance characteristic and product appeals. Ads of high involvement fashion goods showed larger power distance and more emotional appeals. In conclusion, global fashion ads should be differentiated in terms of some cultural characteristics and product appeals.

간호사의 보상적합도와 직무몰입 ${\cdot}$ 조직몰입정도간의 관계 연구 (The Relationship between the Nurse's Reward Fit and Job Involvement${\cdot}$Organizational Commitment)

  • This study surveyed nurses' value of reward and recognition level of organizational reward, and measured the fit of both. It also looked into the relationship between the reward fit and attitude of nurses toward their job and organization (job involvement${\cdot}$organizational commitment). It was planned to suggest the alternative of a future reward system. The sample consisted of 625 nurses of 8 private University Hospitals. Data for this study was collected from Mar. 25 to Apr. 17 by structured questionnaire. This study examined the differences of nurses' value of reward by their demographic characteristics, and looked into the relationship between the reward fit and job involvement${\cdot}$organizational commitment. Four instruments and a demographic questionnair were used to collect the data. Developed for myself and repaired by panel of judges, the value of reward scale and organizational reward scale consisted of 34 items on five points Likert-type scale. Developed by Kanungo and repaired by panel of judges, the job involvement scale measured overall job involvement on 7 items. The organizational commitment scale was developed by Mowday et al and repaired by panel of judges on 10 items. The data was analyzed by frequency, percentage, ranking, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, Chronbach alpha coefficient, t-test, SNK test, factor analysis with SPSS/PC+ progra,.Major findings are as follows 1. The mean of nurses' value of reward is 4.2435 and job content rewards are seen as the most important(M=4.5532). The following orders are seen as follows; financial rewards(M=4.4181), human realtion rewards(M=4.4130), establishment ${\cdot}$ facilities rewards(M=4.1632), professional rewards(M=4.1117), social status or prestige rewards(M=3.9228), career rewards(M=3.8816). Of 34 indivisual reward factors, the retainment allowance is seen to be thought of as the most important thing. 2. The mean of nurses' actual reward is 2.6035. The actual reward responded to the most extremely offered is job content rewards. The following orders are seen as follows ; human relation rewards(M=2.9420), financial rewards(M=2.7682), professional rewards(M=2.4601), social status or prestige rewards(M=2.3696), career rewards(M=2.3466), establishment ${\cdot}$ facilities rewards(M=1.9364). Of 34 indivisual reward factors, medical insurance benefits are felt to be most extremely offered. 3. The mean of fit of reward is -1.6874 and that means actual reward doesn't egual the value of the reward. What is offered mostly to nurses' value of reward is human relation rewards. The following orders are seen as follows; job content rewards(M=-1.5938), career rewards(M=-1.6381), social status of prestige rewards(M=-1.6382), financial rewards(M=-1.6836), professional rewards(M=-1.6854), establishment${\cdot}$facilities rewards(M=-2.3130). Of 34 indivisual factors, the item of fered most closely to nurses' value of reward is seen as the participation in educational programs at the nursing department of the hospital. 4. The mean of nurses' job involvement is 3.1987 and SD is 0.5667. 5. The mean of murses' organizational commitment is 2.9348 and SD is 0.6124, that is seen as a little lower than job involvement. 6. Significant value of reward differences were found among nurses by their demographic characteristics such as married status, tenure, academic career. 7. The fit of reward was significant related to job involvement and organizational commitment. When generalizing the result of this study, the value of reward, which nurses consider important and appropriate offers a reward that corresponds to the nurses' value of reward. This increases nurses' job and organization devotion further, as well as hospital effectiveness. It appears that nurses have recognized that the present reward offered in hospitals doesn't come up to their expectations so I think it is urgent to plan and perform the new reward system which is in accord with the nurses' reward fit.

기업의 SNS 마케팅 활동이 이용자 행동에 미치는 영향: 페이스북 팬페이지 애널리틱스를 중심으로 (The Effect of Corporate SNS Marketing on User Behavior: Focusing on Facebook Fan Page Analytics)

  • 소셜네트워크서비스(SNS)의 성장과 함께 다양한 형태의 SNS가 등장했다. 상호작용성, 정보 교류, 엔터테인먼트 등 다양한 이용 동기를 바탕으로 SNS 이용자 또한 빠르게 증가하는 추세이다. 그중 페이스북은 대표하는 SNS 채널로서 기업에서도 페이스북 페이지를 활용해 홍보 채널로 활용하기 시작했다. 이를 위해 운영 초기, 기업은 팬 수 확보에 나섰고 그 결과 최근 기업 페이스북 팬 수는 많게는 수백만에 이를 정도로 늘어났다. 기업의 목표는 팬 수 확보를 넘어 콘텐츠를 통해 고객에게 기업 브랜드 이미지를 재고하고, 나아가 소통하는 수단으로 활용하고 있다. 이를 평가하는 주요 수치가 바로 본 연구의 종속변수에 해당하는 페이스북의 '좋아요', '댓글', '공유', '클릭 수' 등이다. 해당 수치 달성을 위해 콘텐츠 제작에 대한 고민이 선행되어야 하는데, 본 연구에서는 콘텐츠 제작 고려 사항을 3가지로 나눠 독립변수를 구성하였다. 콘텐츠 소재, 콘텐츠 구조, 메시지 스타일 등이 페이스북의 이용자 행동에 미치는 영향을 회귀분석을 이용해 분석하였다. 종속변수의 경우, 콘텐츠상에 모든 이용자의 행동 '전체 클릭 수'로 설정하였다. 본 연구에서는 각 독립 변수를 기존 연구 문헌을 통해 정의하고, 종속변수에 미치는 영향을 분석하였는데, '전체 클릭 수'의 경우, '자사연관', '실생활 관여도', '격식 x 관여도' 등의 변수가 유의미한 영향을 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 연구 결과를 통해, 콘텐츠 목적에 따른 최적화된 콘텐츠 전략을 제시함으로써, 기업 페이스북 운영자와 콘텐츠 제작자의 운영, 제작 전략에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 보인다.

웹사이트 콘텐츠와 광고의 맥락효과 검증 (The Context Effect of Web Contents and Advertising)

  • 본 연구는 웹콘텐츠의 맥락효과로 인한 배너광고효과를 검증하고자 대표적인 웹콘텐츠인 인터넷 기사와 광고의 관련성, 기사에 대한 감정과 감정, 관여도, 기사난이도에 따른 배너광고의 효과를 분석하였다. 분석 결과 맥락효과로 인해 배너광고의 효과가 높아지는 경우로는 콘텐츠와 광고의 관련성이 높고, 기사로 인해 긍정적인 감정이 형성된 경우, 기사의 난이도가 낮은 경우, 관여도가 높은 경우로 나타났다. 또한 광고에 대한 부정적인 감정이 형성되거나 광고의 난이도가 높아지는 경우, 관여도가 낮아지는 경우에도 기사와 광고간의 관련성이 높으면 광고효과가 향상되는 것을 통해 광고의 맥락효과를 검증하였다.

Reviews Key Features of Word-Of-Mouth (WOM) Advertising and Their Impact on Sports Consumer

  • Purpose: This study sought to investigate the critical features of Word of mouth (WOM) advertising and their impact on sport consumer behavior. Research design, data, and methodology: Target population of the study consisted of all sports consumer of the Federation of Special Patients and Organ Transplantation, Tehran (Iran), who had indirectly watched the World Organ Transplant Competition documentary at least once on others' advice. For this purpose, 360 sports consumers of the federation were purposefully selected and they were asked to complete the standard WOM advertising questionnaire of Asda and Ko. Pearson correlation coefficient test and modeling of structural equations were performed using Spss24 and Smart PLS software at an error level of 0.05 used to analyze the data. Results: The findings show that there is a significant relationship between experience and expertise, trust and validity, content richness, and the power of message transmission through WOM advertising and its predictability. Finally, interpersonal relationships and work involvement also had a moderating role in this regard. Conclusions: The general conclusion is that the components of WOM advertising as well as involvement and homophily with the mediating role directly as one of the presuppositions for persuasion. The sports consumer was promoting WOM.

Validation of the Nurses' Involvement in Dying Patients and Family Care-Korean Version

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to test the validity of the Korean version of the Nurses' Involvement in Dying Patients and Family Care (NIDPFC) instrument. Methods: Data were collected from 410 registered nurses at a university hospital, general hospitals, and a convalescent hospital. Data were collected from June 23 to July 17, 2020. Internal consistency reliability, construct validity, and criterion validity were examined using the SPSS and AMOS software. Results: Of the 35 preliminary items of the instrument, 24 items were finally selected after evaluating the content validity, analyzing the items, and assessing construct validity. The following four factors were derived: "burden" (seven items), "deep involvement" (eight items), "resilience" (five items), and "empathy" (four items), with a cumulative explanatory variance of 55.2%. For criterion validity, a significant positive relationship was found between the NIDPFC and attitudes toward caring for the dying. For internal consistency reliability, the Cronbach's α was 0.82. Conclusion: The validity and reliability of the NIDPFC were verified. Therefore, the NIDPFC is an effective instrument to use in further studies.

청소년 소비자의 정보탐색, 정보활용 및 탐색성과에 대한 인과분석 -의류 구매를 중심으로- (A Study on the Information Search, Information Use and Search Outcome of Adolescent Consumers -Focus on Clothing Purchase Behavior-)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the information search, information use and search outcomes. 420 students in Chungnam and Taejon area were surveyed. Questionnaire survey method and multiple regression and path analysis were used. Some major conclusions were as follows: 1) The levels of the information search, information use and search outcomes were relatively low. 2) The volumes of information search and the contents of information were mainly affected by psycho-behavioral variables. 3) The level of information use was affected by the content of information, desire to seek information, involvement, and previous knowledge. 4) The search outcome was affected positively by the information use, involvement, volume of information search, desire to seek information, and perceived risk. 5) The volume of information search and the information use were the parameter of the search outcomes.
