Minimizing the power consumption of ZigBee RF4CE Certified Platform

  • The RF4Control stack is used with microcontrollers and IEEE(R) 802.15.4 transceivers. This paper explains the setup and power consumption measurements for the transceiver based remote controller and target node. It is assumed the reader of this paper has knowledge about RF4CE. The current consumption measurements are made using the ZigBee Platform included with the RF4Control stack. he current consumption measurements are presented, and battery life time is calculated for an remote controller. Note that the results presented in this paper are intended as a guideline only. A variety of factors will influence the battery life calculation and final measurements and calculations should be performed on ZigBee RF4CE Certified Platform.

  • Although the production of chestnut in Korea is the second largest in the world, domestic consumption of chestnut is very limited. Furthermore, consumption of chestnut in Korea is highly dependent on export to Japan and China. Large amount of chestnut in Korea have been deteriorated and discarded during storage. In order to increase the consumption of chestnut in Korea, it is necessary to know the processing properties of chestnut and its starch. Additionally, through the various investigations such as modification treatment, it will be extended to utilization of chestnut. So far, there is a little information on the processing properties of chestnut; therefore, the expansion of research will bring results to increase the consumption of chestnut.

중학교 1학년 기술.가정 교과서의 '청소년의 자기관리'와 '청소년의 소비생활' 단원 분석: 2007개정 교육과정의 강조점 반영을 중심으로 (An Analysis on the Units of 'Adolescence Self-Management' and 'Adolescence Consumption Life' in Technology.Home Economics Textbooks Used in Middle Schools: Focusing on How the Emphasis of the 2007 Curriculum Revision is Reflected)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 2007개정 교육과정에서 강조하는 실천적 문제해결 과정, 지속 가능한 삶을 고려한 소비생활, 진로교육이 현재 중학교 1학년이 사용하는 기술 가정교과서의 '청소년의 자기관리' 단원과 '청소년의 소비생활' 단원에 어떤 내용과 형태로 반영되었나를 분석하는 것이다. 2010년 3월부터 중학교에서 사용하고 있는 12종 교과서의 단원 구성 체제 요소인 대단원 도입, 목표 진술, 중단원 도입, 소단원 제목 및 도입, 본문 진술, 활동과제, 표/그림/사진, 보충 및 심화 학습자료 대단원 및 중단원 마무리 부분에 반영된 3가지 강조점을 분석하여 다음과 같은 결론을 내렸다. 첫째, 3가지 강조점은 목표 진술을 제외한 교과서의 모든 단원 구성 체제 요소에서 반영하고 있지만, 다른 구성요소에 비해 활동과제, 표/그림/사진, 보충 및 심화학습 자료에 반영하는 비율이 높게 나타나고 있다. 둘째, 중 단원마다 교육과정에서 강조하는 강조점을 반영하는 정도가 다르다 전체적으로 '청소년기의 자기관리 단원'에 비해 '청소년의 소비생활' 단원이 3강조점의 반영 비율이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 출판사 마다 교육과정에서 강조하는 강조점을 반영하는 정도도 다르고 반영하는 방법도 다르다. 이를 바탕으로 가정과 교사의 현장수업에서의 교과서 활용방안과 교과서 개발 기관 및 심사자를 위한 제언을 제시하였다.

여성 소비자의 소비경험을 통해 본 "사치"의 의미분석 (Consumption Experiences and the Meaning of "Luxury" of Women)

  • By conducting an ethnographic interviewing for women who had been traditionally recognized as the subject in consumption and analyzing the perception that they had on luxuries and necessities, this study tried a naturalistic interpretation on a meaning of "(small) luxury" recently well known to everybody. The target of interview included 20 women in their 20s to 50s living in Seoul and Kyunggi region. The sampling was made in consideration of an age, marriage, occupation, and household income level, etc. The data analysis had the process of drawing a final theme after having a domain analysis and a taxonomy analysis. In so doing, (1) women's experience of consuming life was described; (2) The analysis was made on what they would pursue in a consuming life, with a focus on a symbolic nature of a consumption; (3) Lastly, through a naturalistic interpretation, a theme regarding a meaning that a "luxury" had for them was drawn. As a result of an analysis, 12 domains and 5 taxonomies were derived. On the basis of it, 3 themes were deduced with respect to a meaning that a "luxury" had under the women's experience of consumption.

  • 코로나19 발생 이후 시민들의 소비습관과 여가생활의 변화로 새로운 소비 트렌드가 형성되고 있다. 이에 따라 자영업자는 많은 혼란을 겪고 있으며 변화에 민감하게 대처하지 못한 자영업자들은 폐업을 할 수밖에 없는 상황이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 공공 데이터를 활용하여 사람들의 소비습관과 여가생활의 변화를 분석하고 이를 기반으로 자영업자들이 소비자들의 소비성향을 예측하고 이에 빠르게 대처할 수 있는 방안을 제시한다.

Marketing Strategy to lead Leisure sporting goods consumption to improve the leisure life of sports participants

  • Purpose - The sports business industry and contemporary sports marketing is an exemplary wide field that primarily comprises specific activities, numerous individuals, organizations, and business ventures. This research aims to provide a marketing strategy to lead Leisure sporting goods consumption to improve the leisure life of sports participants. Research design, Data, and methodology - The Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) was conducted to obtain the appropriate literature resources and total 15 previous resources selected by the present author after excluding papers based on screening process. Result - The literature analysis revealed that marketing practitioners in the sports and leisure industry should remember three significant solutions which are suggested. These solutions the following: (1) Brand Visibility, (2) Suitable Business Designs, and (3) Customers Support. They will enhance the perspective of consumption goods that foster leisure life to sporting participants following a well-advanced market strategy Conclusion - The sporting activities are generally inspiring, emotion provoking, immersive, rapidly growing profits and revenues, and engaging; hence, it is a great adventure of advancing customer orientation and a platform for growing the market. Therefore professionals have the responsibility to design sporting events in synergy with different stakeholders in ensuring improved and enjoyable experiences based on the marketing solutions of the current research.

은퇴 베이비부머의 소비패턴과 우울에 관한 연구 (The Effect of Baby-boomer Retirees' Consumption Patterns on Depression in Later Life)

  • 본 연구는 우리나라 은퇴 베이비부머의 소비패턴을 실증적으로 탐색하고, 소비패턴이 우울에 미치는 영향을 검증하는 데 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위해 국민노후보장패널 5차 자료를 활용하여 은퇴 베이비부머 420명을 대상으로 잠재프로파일분석과 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 은퇴 베이비부머의 소비패턴을 분석한 결과, 기초생활중심형(26.9%), 균형소비생활형(29.3%), 사회생활중심형(18.3%), 여가생활중심형(18.5%), 교육비중심형(7.0%)의 5가지 유형이 실증적으로 구조화되었다. 그리고 우울과 관련된 인구사회적 요인, 건강상태, 가족관계, 사회관계, 경제상태를 통제한 상태에서 소비패턴과 우울의 관계를 분석한 결과, 소비패턴과 우울 사이의 유의미한 상관관계가 증명되었다. 구체적으로 교육비중심형 소비패턴보다 기초생활중심형 소비패턴의 우울수준이 유의하게 낮았다. 또한 교육수준이 높을수록, 배우자가 없는 경우, 주관적 건강상태가 나쁠수록, 신체기능에 제한이 있는 경우, 장애진단을 받은 경우, 자녀의 수가 적을수록, 여가활동에 만족하지 않을수록, 주관적 경제상태가 부정적일수록 우울수준이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 베이비부머를 표적집단으로 한 사회복지정책과 서비스 기획 실효성을 제고함과 동시에 은퇴 후 바람직한 소비패턴을 유지할 수 있는 은퇴 전 소비교육의 필요성 및 사례관리 현장에서의 노후 소비관리 프로그램의 필요성을 제언한다.

문화요인이 음식소비성향에 미치는 영향분석 -한국과 중국의 대학생소비자 비교분석- (A Comparative Study of Food Consumption Patterns with Cultural Factors for College Students in Korea and China)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore cultural factors that affect food consumption patterns by comparing them for college students in Korea and China. This study includes seeking pleasure, seeking satiety, and seeking well-being. Food consumption patterns, social responsibility, the value of life, faith in God, traditional moral fundamentalism and cultural taste are the cultural factors. To achieve the purpose, SPSS Win.(12.0) and LISREL(8.72) are applied. From the results of this study, first, among food consumption patterns, Koreans and Chinese both are found to put a higher value on seeking pleasure than other consumption patterns, and Chinese are found to put a higher value on seeking satiety. Second, for Koreans, the value of traditional moral fundamentalism and social responsibility are found to significantly influence seeking satiety and seeking well-being. If they had a higher degree of traditional moral fundamentalism, they would like to seek more satiety from food. And if they had a higher degree of social responsibility, they would like to seek more well-being from food. However, for Chinese, seeking pleasure is found to be significantly influenced by social responsibility and a faith in God, and seeking satiety is found to be significantly influenced by social responsibility and the value of a good life while seeking well-being is found to be significantly influenced by social responsibility and a faith in God. Compared with Koreans, cultural factors such as social responsibility, a faith in God, the value of a good life for the Chinese might influence significantly all three types of food consumption patterns. Thus, this study might provide more useful information about finding cultural differences of values and food consumption patterns between Koreans and Chinese.

내러티브분석을 통해 본 케이블TV 여성전문채널 뷰티.패션 프로그램 시청자의 소비경험이야기 (Beauty-Fashion Program of CATV Audiences' Consumption Stories by a Narrative Analysis)

  • The contemporary consumers have insatiable desires for material and outward appearance. In terms of the desire for outward appearance, people recognize that a beautiful outward appearance can be made by an artificial effort. Subsequently, the interest in a beauty and fashion has been increased. In addition, a cable TV shows a beauty and fashion program targeted for women in 20s to 30s. This study tried to examine the stories on experience of consumption by consumers watching a beauty and fashion program in a women specialized channel of a cable TV. The total number of narrators who participated in this study was 11. Among them, we formed 26 narrative plots on the basis of interviews for 7 persons who could use Labov's structural analysis. The result of analyzing narrators' narrative plots was as follows: First, although narrators received the information on beauty and fashion through a channel which became the target of this study, they applied such information into an ordinary life by transforming such information. Second, narrators thought that their confidence and superiority could be expressed through a beauty and fashion. Third, narrators' consuming life showed a showing off-type consumption and an objective consumption. Fourth, narrators have a gap between the behavior orientation and real actions. And they experiences various trobles on consumption life. Fifth, through the interview for narrators, a trend of reconsidering their consuming life was found out.

외식소비성향과 디저트카페 만족, 심리적 행복감, 삶의 질 간의 관계 (The Relationship between Eating Out Consumption Propensity, Dessert Cafe Satisfaction, Psychological Well-Being and Quality of Life)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate relationship between eating out consumption propensity, dessert $caf{\acute{e}}$ satisfaction, psychological well-being, and quality of life. The objective of this study was reached by verifying a hypothesis through empirical analysis. Data collection was conducted from November 10, 2017 to December 10, 2015, and 250 copies of the questionnaires were distributed. Of these, 243 valid copies of the data were used for the analysis except for the questionnaires that did not meet the research purpose. The results of the analysis were as follows. First, only health pursuit type and quick & convenience pursuit type had a significant influence on satisfaction of dessert cafe. On the other hand, economic value pursuit type, eating out enjoyment pursuit type, and atmosphere pursuit type did not significantly affect dessert cafe satisfaction. Second, among the eating out consumption propensity, there were significant influences on psychological well-being in order of atmosphere pursuit type, eating out enjoyment pursuit type, economic value pursuit type. On the other hand, the health pursuit type and the quick & convenience pursuit type did not significantly affect psychological well-being. Third, satisfaction of dessert cafe had a significant effect on psychological well-being. Fourth, psychological well-being has a significant effect on the quality of life compared to dessert cafe satisfaction. The result of this study is supposed to be utilized as an instrumental data for establishing a strategy for differentiating dessert cafe to improve the quality of life through grasping the eating out consumption propensity to increase satisfaction and psychological well-being in dessert cafe.
