Purpose: Distally based superficial sural artery island flap has some disadvantages such as postoperative flap edema, congestion, and partial necrosis of the flap margin. Venous congestion is an area of considerable concern in distally based superficial sural artery fasciocutaneous flap and is one of the main reasons for failure, particularly when a large flap is needed. However, we could decrease these disadvantages by means of venous superdrainage. Methods: From June of 2006 to June of 2007, a total of two patients with soft tissue defects of lower one third of the leg underwent venous supercharging distally based superficial sural artery island flap transfer. The distal pivot point of this flap was designed at septocutaneous perforator from the peroneal artery of the posterolateral septum, which was 5 cm above the tip of the lateral malleolus. Briefly, this technique is performed by anastomosing the proximal end of the lesser saphenous vein and collateral vein to any vein in the area of the recipient defect site. Results: No venous congestion was noted in any of the two cases. No other recipient or donor-site complications were observed, except for minor wound dehiscence in one case. In 3 to 6 months follow-up, patients had minor complaints about lack of sensation in the lateral dorsal foot. Conclusion: The peroneal artery perforator is predictable and reliable for the design of a distally based superficial sural artery island flap. Elevation of the venous supercharging flap is safe, easy, and less time consuming. In conclusion, the venous supercharging distally based superficial sural artery island flap offers an alterative to free tissue transfer for reconstruction of the lower extremity.

Most of steam power plant in Korea are heating the feed water system to prevent freezing water flowing in the pipe in winter time. The heating system is operated whenever the ambient temperature around the power plant area below 5 degree Centigrade. But this kind of heat supplying system cause a lot of energy consuming. If we think about the method that the temperature of the each pipe is controled by attaching the temperature measuring sensor like RTD sensor and heat is supplied only when the outer surface temperature of the pipe is under 5 degree Centigrade, then we can save a plenty of energy. In this study, the computer program package for simulation is used to compare the energy consumption load of both systems. Energy saving rate is calculated for the location of Youngweol area using the data of weather station in winter season, especially the January' severe weather data is analyzed for comparison. Various convection heat transfer coefficients for the ambient air and the flowing water inside the pipe was used for the accurate calculation. And also the various initial flowing water temperature was used for the system. Steady state analysis is done previously to approximate the result before the simulation. The result shows that the temperature control system using RTD sensor represents the high energy saving effect which is more than 90% of energy saving rate. Even in the severe January weather condition, the energy saving rate is almost 60%.

Digital filters are indispensible element in digital signal processing area. The performance of digital filter based on adding and multiplying operation, such as computational speed and power consuming is determined by the orders and coefficients of filter which has on effect area of semiconductor chip when it is implemented by VLSI technology. In this research, in order to performance improvement of digital filter, we proposed the algorithm to speed-up the operation of digital filter associated with the minimum signed digit representation of binary number system and method to simplify the digital filter design associated with common subexpression elimination. The performance of proposed method is evaluated by the computational speed and design-simplicity by experimental implemented digital filter on FPGA.
Detecting shadows in images and restoring or removing them was a very challenging task in computer vision. Traditional researches used color information, edges, and thresholds to detect shadows, but there were errors such as not considering the penumbra area of shadow or even detecting a black area that is not a shadow. Deep learning has been successful in various fields of computer vision, and research on applying deep learning has started in the field of shadow detection and removal. However, it was very difficult and time-consuming to collect data for network learning, and there were many limited conditions for shooting. In particular, it was more difficult to obtain shadow data from buildings and satellite images, which hindered the progress of the research. In this paper, we propose a method for generating shadow data from buildings and satellites using Unity3D. In the virtual Unity space, 3D objects existing in the real world were placed, and shadows were generated using lights effects to shoot. Through this, it is possible to get all three types of images (shadow-free, shadow image, shadow mask) necessary for shadow detection and removal when training deep learning networks. The method proposed in this paper contributes to helping the progress of the research by providing big data in the field of building or satellite shadow detection and removal research, which is difficult for learning deep learning networks due to the absence of data. And this can be a suboptimal method. We believe that we have contributed in that we can apply virtual data to test deep learning networks before applying real data.

Although it is important to reflect the accurate information of the ground condition in the tunnel design, the analysis and design are conducted by limited information because it is very difficult to get it practically on considering various geography and geotechnical condition. So construction management of information concept is required to manage immediately on the field condition because it is very time-consuming to establish the countermeasure of underground reinforcement and the pattern change of Bo. Therefore, when construction is on tunnel area, examination of accurate safety and prediction of behavior is performed to overcomes the limit of predicting behavior by using Artificial Neural Network(ANN) in this study. Firstly, the field data was secured. Secondly, suitable structure was made on multi-layer perceptrons among the ANN. Thirdly, learning algorithm-propagated applies to ANN. The data for the learn of field application using ANN was used by considering impact factors, which influenced the behavior of tunnel, and performing credibility analysis. crown displacement, spring displacement, subsurfacement, and rock bolt axial force are predicted at the tunnel construction and on-site application was confirmed by using ANN from analyzing and comparing with measurement value of on-site. In this study, the data from Seoul Highway $\bigcirc\bigcirc$ tunnel section was applied to the ANN Theory, and the analysis on the investigate value and the reasoning for the value associated with field application was performed.
Purpose: This research was conducted to provide basic data on Kimchi consumption of high school students by determining their recognition and preferences related to Kimchi. Methods: Our survey was administered to 450 high school students in the Incheon area from September 1 to October 30, 2015. A total of 412 questionnaires were used for the final analysis. Results: Most students (42.6%) consumed Kimchi every meal (more than 3 meals/day), and only 3.6% did not consume Kimchi at all. The most common reason for consuming Kimchi was 'tasty' (46.4%). On the other hand, those who did not consume Kimchi cited 'preference for other side dishes' (50.0%). 'Home-made Kimchi' was the most common source of consumed Kimchi (63.0%). With respect to recognition of Kimchi, most cited terms were 'traditional' ($4.64{\pm}0.58$), followed by 'healthy' ($4.30{\pm}0.77$) and 'prefer home-made' ($3.88{\pm}0.93$) (p<0.001). The average preference for Kimchi was $3.71{\pm}1.07$. The most common reason for preferences was 'crisp texture' (37.6%). The most popular flavor was 'spicy' (33.6%), and the most popular fermentation level was 'appropriate' (55.6%). When preferences for Kimchi were further analyzed, 'baechu Kimchi' (4.18) was the most popular. Further, Kimchi is a popular ingredient for many dishes, and the most popular dish was 'stir-fried pork with Kimchi' (4.50). Conclusion: In the future, positive recognition of Kimchi consumption can be promoted through nutrition education and various advertisements. Furthermore, efforts should be made to establish the principles of traditional Korean food for students.
We have used the Naju Oryang-dong Kiln, the Jar coffin producing center from the 5th to early 6th century A.D. found for the first time in Korea in 2002 and conducted trace element analysis of Jar coffin objects excavated in Jar coffin the old tomb area formed mainly around Yeongsan valley, the consuming area of the same period as our main research objects. For this analysis, we have used both the NAA method, the non-parametric micro-minerals analysis. In order to compare and verify these remains, we have used the results from the analysis on the Jar coffin remains in the Mandong remains, Jeonbuk district. We have quantitatively analyzed 17 types of elements from the Jar coffin remains sample to allow for various and correct analysis. With their results, we could find out that the jar coffins made in Oryang-dong kiln teo are statistically identical to those in Daean-ri Old tomb/Shinchon-ri 9th old tomb, Okya-ri old tomb, and Banam-Old tomb. Also, we can conclude that there is a high possibility that ongwans produced from Oryang-dong kiln being used in Daean-ri Old tomb/Shinchon-ri 9th old tomb, Okya-ri old tomb, and Banam-Old tomb was distributed through some form of trade. On the other hand, we could obtain other analysis results that jar coffins excavated and investigated in the Mandong remains and Ithe npyong Old tomb were likely from other Jar coffin kilns through trade and distribution.

This study was conducted to compare food intakes between newly diagnosed diabetics and non-diabetics by food frequency questionnarie in adults in rural area. Food frequency questionnaire containing 65 food items was executed to 2,406 subjects over 30 years of age living inYeonchon-gun, Kyungki province. Frequency of consumption of each food items were divided into 9 categories ranging from 'over 3 tiemes a day' to 'never'. Fasting blood glucose levels were measured and 2-hour glucose tolerance test was administered for each subject. Newly diagnosed diabetics were identified as those with fasting blood glucose level ≥ 140mg/dl or 2-hour postprandial glucose level ≥200mg/dl and without previous diagnosis of diabetes. Intake frequencies of food items were compared between newly diagnosed diabetics and nondiabetics. For each food item examined, odds ratios for developing diabetes were calculated for people consuming more frequently, after adjusting for age, BMI and sex. Food intake frequencies were compared according to the occurrence of diabetes. Twenty four items were more frequently consumed by nonidabetics and 12 items were more frequently consumed by newly diagnosed diabetics. Odds ratios for diabetes were significantly lower for breads, biscuit, beef loin, beef tender loin, pork belly, fish paste, coffee, cola/cider, candy, beer, chongak kimchi, carrot, mushrooms and other white vegetables, banana, melon and juice. On the other hand, odds ratios for diabetes were higher for zucchini and garlic. Although this was a cross over prevalence study, the results indicate that consumption frequencies of several food items were related with the occurrence of diabetes in the study subjects.
In the fisheries industry, the cost of oil Is the greatest factor, contributing 25% 40% of the cost of production. In order to support fisheries, the government has supplied large amounts of money for oil to the fisheries industry. However, the elimination and restriction against the subsidy of fisheries has been actively discussed throughout international organizations Including the WTO. The purpose of this thesis is to study the existing issue of subsidies on the fisheries Industry, which is currently disputed in international organizations, and predict a future policy about the oil supply that considers the most important factors on fisheries. In chapter 2, the paper begins by outlining the tendencies of discussion in relation to the subsidy on fisheries among international organizations, and categorizes them on the basis of their types. Chapter 3 defines the current conditions and characteristics of the Korean subsidy on fisheries and analyzes which portions of the subsidy on fisheries should be eliminated first when it is prohibited. In chapter 4, procedures and problems for producing tax-free oil are discussed, because tax-free oil has a higher possibility of being ruled out. Chapter 5 proposes a reasonable plan concerning oil supply policies for maintenance or enrichment of the fishing industries, post the elimination of subsidies. Conclusions were drawn in eight areas as a result of this study: 1) securing the large storage of oil, 2) extending customers of oil to include non-fishermen, 3) coordinating the segmentation of marketing area, 4) diversification of the sales goods, 5) producing oil sales experts, 6) developing original brands, 7) expanding the purchasing area to buy oil in the international market, and 8) operating funds to stabilize oil price. It would not be appropriate to wait until international organizations decide to ban the subsidy of fisheries. Corresponding plans ( such as securing the large storage of oil) tend to be large scale and long-term projects because they take a number of years, from designing the oil storage tank to selecting the proper region and initiating the construction. Therefore, it is strongly suggested that any extensive and time consuming projects including preparation for the tax-free oil should be completed in new actions before the ban by the international organizations.

The digital map in Korea has been producted and utilized independently according to scales such as 1:1,000, 1:5,000, and 1:25,000. Therefore, whenever we need to obtain the spatial data of other scales, we have to product the digital maps over and over again which it is time-consuming and ineconomic. To solve these problems, it has been accomplished many researches on map generalization to make digital maps in small scale from the master data of large scale. This paper aims to analyze the conversion characteristics of the large scale to the small scale by simplification of map generalization. For this purpose, it is proposed the algorithm for the simplification process of digital map and it is investigated the simplification characteristic of digital map through the experiment on the conversion of 1:5,000 scale into 1:25.000 scale. The results show that Area-Preservation algorithm indicates the good agreement with the original data in terms of the area and features of building layer compared to Douglas-Peucker algorithm and Reumann-Witkam algorithm.
