Therefore, the objective of this study was to find out the relationships between consumer involvement and product performance. Factor analysis, reliability test, and regression were used to analyze the data. The research results showed that there were three dimensions of product performance, so called, ‘aesthetic’, ‘utilitarian’, and ‘socio-interactive’. Consumer involvement was positively related to all dimensions of product performance. Understanding of the relationship between consumer involvement and product performance would contribute to build useful marketing strategies.
This study develops a scale for consumer clothing satisfaction based on Lee et al. 's (2002) five stages of the consumer life cycle (acquisition, possession, consumption, maintenance, and disposal). Data were gathered by surveying college students using convenience sampling, and 419 questionnaires were used in the statistical analysis. In analyzing the data, an exploratory factor analysis and a confirmatory factor analysis using a structural equation modeling were conducted. The proposed scale, which identified various sources of satisfaction and dissatisfaction associated with the 5 consumption cycles of clothing, suggests some guidelines for marketers in enhancing consumer clothing satisfaction across consumption stages. The model test for the scale also identified that consumption satisfaction had the greatest effect on consumer clothing satisfaction showing the strongest loading and squared multiple correlation.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of service quality on consumer satisfaction and loyalty according to clothing involvement at internet shopping mall. Data were obtained from 400 college students living in Busan. Data were analyzed by factor analysis, reliability analysis, cluster analysis, t-test and regression analysis using SPSS WIN 14.0. The results indicate that companies of shopping mall striving for consumer loyalty should focus primarily on satisfaction and service quality perceived by consumer at Internet. The effects of clothing involvement on the association of consumer loyalty, satisfaction and perceived service quality are significant. This finding provides the information being efficient to develop marketing implications related to internet shopping mall.

In conclusion, consumer's fashion innovativenes had important effects on smart clothing innovativeness evaluation, but consumer's technology innovativeness had no effect on it.
The purpose of this study was designed to investigate if self-monitoring variable among various individual trait theories and demographic variable would be variables which can explain about the importance differences of consumer service level of retailing in the garment product. The survey was conducted from Feb, 6 to 16, 2002. For this survey, the 118 data were analysed with spss window 9.0 version and Cronbach's, Factor analysis, one-way ANOVA, Duncan test, Frequency, mean, percentage were applied. The results of this study were as follows; 1. Consumer service was classified in attitude/confidence/expert knowledge of salesperson, product display, product information, product assortment, shopping environment, lighting setup. 2. As a result of analyzing the importance differences per consumer service dimension depending on self-monitoring levels, it was not significant differences. 3. As a result of analyzing the importance differences per consumer service dimension depending on demographic variables, it was not significant differences.
The apparel market is extremely competitive and thus apparel manufacturers should try to maximize consumer satisfaction with cost-efficient but consumer-oriented strategies. Personalized strategies considering each consumer's characteristics have to be developed. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of consumers' characteristics on personalization strategies of apparel brands. Investigating personalization based on consumers' values and demographic characteristics will allow apparel manufacturers to attract target consumers. A survey method was used for the empirical study. Questionnaires from 420 respondents were analyzed using factor analysis, cluster, t-test, and ANOVA. The results indicated a significant influence of consumer values on customer service-related aspects of personalization. Female consumers demanded product- and information-oriented factors of personalization. Age, residential area, and clothing expense also had significant influence on the need for personalization of apparel shopping.
The role of consumer self-confidence is important in consumer's purchase decision. Nevertheless, the use of self-esteem measures might cause misinformation in the specific situation of the marketing-related point of view. In this study, consumer self-confidence was measured by marketing oriented tools to clarify the dimensions of consumer self-confidence while the influence of consumer self-confidence on clothing satisfaction was also investigated. A total of 325 questionnaires were collected by surveying university students in Seoul and the surrounding metropolitan area using convenient sampling. The data were analysed by factor analysis, ANOVA, t-test, and regression by using SPSSWIN program. The findings of the study were as fellows. First, the consumer self-confidence was composed of 6 sub-scales: information acquisition, personal outcomes decision making, social outcomes decision making, consideration-set formation, persuasion knowledge, and marketplace interfaces. Second, female subjects rated higher on consumer self-confidence than male subjects did in social outcomes decision making and consideration-set formation. Third, higher income was correlated with higher social outcomes decision making and consideration-set formation. Finally, clothing satisfaction was influenced by personal outcomes decision making and information acquisition.

Factor analysis was used to evaluate the credibility of dependent variables, and T-test was used to compare the effect of brand label, country of origin, brand effect between Korean and U.S, and jacket price and quality on consumer characteristics. Discriminated analysis was used to find the effective variables influencing the two reference group differences when they evaluated Korean and U.S. labeled and non-labeled apparel products. Multiple Regression analysis was used to examine the effects of consumer characteristics on perceived quality, perceived value, perceived price, and their willingness to buy. The results of this study also provides useful information of consumer purchasing behavior on U.S. branded apparel which may or already launched the Korean fashion merchandizing market.
Purpose: There has been an increasing focus on consumer ethics by researchers and practitioners alike with the former seeking to examine the general discrepancy between ethical attitude, intention and actual behaviour by proposing behavioural measures to understand ethical consumption. Research into the effects of generational cohorts and gender, two fundamental demographic factors that shape the consumer habituated repertoire, on consumer ethics has reported mixed findings. The present study investigates if there are differences in ethical consumer behavior by generational cohorts and by gender in the context of an emerging market - Vietnam. Research design, data and methodology: Data was collected using a quantitative survey (a link to the questionnaire was posted on relevant social media platforms). A total of 539 usable responses was used for ANOVAs and independent t-tests to test the hypotheses. Results: a) There are significant differences in terms of ethical consumer behavior between Gen Z and Gens Y/X, but no difference between Gen X and Gen Y; b) There is no gender difference in ethically minded consumer behavior. Conclusion: For consumer ethics, generational effects may be moderated by macroeconomic conditions, while gender alone as a biological variable may not be a reliable predictor.

In recent years, the Iraqi market witnessed a large opening that resulted from the entry of many different products with an absence of government regulations. As a result, marketing deception practices have emerged as a new phenomenon. This study examines the effect of deceptive brand image on consumer purchase intention, with consumer attitude as a mediator. A quantitative method was applied in the form of a questionnaire distributed to shoppers at Carrefour Supermarket in Erbil, Kurdistan Region of Iraq. A random sampling technique was conducted. Subsequently, 200 questionnaires were distributed, and 175 valid questionnaires were analyzed, indicating an 87% response rate. Partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) has been utilized to test the hypothesis. The result showed that brand image deception has a negative impact on consumer purchasing intention. Also, attitude mediates the relationship between deceptive brand image and consumer purchase intention. The empirical finding confirms that deceptive marketing practices such as brand deception can change the attitude of consumers negatively toward brands and, therefore, affect the consumer purchase intentions. The findings suggest that honest brand marketing is beneficial in increasing the attitude toward the brand. This strategy will increase consumer purchase intentions.
