Frank Lloyd Wright is an architect who established the concept of organic architecture and in his organic architectures, he applied studies on the inflow, growth and development of natural elements of shapes, pursued naturalism in the shapes and functions and connected them organically with each other. His furniture as appeared in his constructions shows geometric plasticity based on naturalism and achieves an integration of shapes, materials and functions while forming a space. The organic nature from the viewpoint of digital which is a new concept of the 21st century is greatly affecting construction and furniture designs. Designs having new organic concepts are emerging in furniture which is organically related with construction to achieve organic harmony with new plastic spaces. Therefore, studies on Wright are more significant as a cornerstone for new theories under development.

It is essential for project managers to make schedule adjustment based on their professional experience, in terms of rescheduling action discussed in this paper. This paper discusses the topics of resource-constrained construction rescheduling by modifying the concepts of manufacturing rescheduling. Moreover, the influence factors of construction rescheduling problems are investigated and identified in this paper. According to initial schedule plan and present progress, a new rescheduling mechanism based on Constraint Programming (CP) techniques is developed to reschedule projects with the objective of minimizing total project cost or duration, under three rescheduling policies. Through case study, the behavior of three different rescheduling policies is analyzed and discussed in this paper.

In this study, design concepts of Seoul Subway Construction (901∼914) are reviewed in relation to the cases for temporary soil support wall systems which are revealed in highly developed design competitions such as Turnkey and Alternative based on. Especially soil and rock properties, various design schemes for dealing with soil and water pressures, new technology adopted etc are discussed very profoundly and broadly for the better understanding and additional clues for constructing new design technologies.
According to climate change, deficiency of usable land, large water portion of the Earth surface, and improvement of income level, floating architecture is emerging as a strong & attractive alternative. The aim of this study is to suggest some related applying ways for new building projects around waterside. New paradigm of architecture can be described as a new model and/or system of architecture with new concept and Zeitgeist like sustainability and green building. Floating building is already a new paradigm of architecture comparing with the preconception of building only on the land and current building regulations. New paradigm features from the sample projects can be summarized as new concepts of building, application of various renewable energy resources(water, solar, wind), modular construction, use of local raw material, dual purpose usage, long term and relocatable usage, and special building materials for green building.

Recently, in Korea, demand for establishment of systematic risk assessment techniques for construction projects has increased, especially after the large construction failures occurred during construction such as New Haengju Bridge construction projects, subway construction projects, gas explosion accidents etc. Most of existing risk analysis modeling techniques such as Event Tree Analysis and Fault Tree Analysis may not be available for realistic risk assessment of construction projects because it is very complex and difficult to estimate occurrence frequency and failure probability precisely due to a lack of data related to the various risks inherent in construction projects like natural disasters, financial and economic risks, political risks, environmental risks as well as design and construction-related risks. Therefor the main objective of this paper is to suggest systematic probabilistic risk assessment model and demonstrate an approach for probabilistic risk assessment using advanced Event Tree Analysis introducing Fuzzy set theory concepts. It may be stated that the Fuzzy Event Tree AnaIysis may be very usefu1 for the systematic and rational risk assessment for real constructions problems because the approach is able to effectively deal with all the related construction risks in terms of the linguistic variables that incorporate systematically expert's experiences and subjective judgement.
This paper describes the forecast of wholesale price in competitive Korean electricity market using the system dynamics approach. The system dynamics concepts have been implemented with the Ithink software. This software facilitates the development of stock and flow model with information feedback. Using this model, the future wholesale electricity price can be computed hour by hour, quarterly, and yearly. This model also gives the energy planner the opportunity to create different scenarios for the future of deregulated wholesale markets in Korea. Also It will lead to increased understanding of competitive wholesale market as a complex, dynamic system. Research results show that the plant construction appeared in waves of boom and bust in Korean electricity market like real estate construction. That is, the Korea wholesale market's new power plants and the market price will appear the Boom and Bust cycle. It is very similar behavior as real estate industry. In case of consideration of DSM program, The DSM savings lead to a somewhat different timing of the booms in construction and of price spikes. But the DSM programs do not eliminated the fundamental dynamics of the boom and bust. And the wholesale price is maintained at the lower level compared to the case of without DSM program. However, the unexpected result is found that due to the lower market price, Investor make significantly less investment in new CCs, which leads to the higher wholesale price after 2010. It suggests that the DSM Policy must be implemented with the dynamics of competitive Electricity Market.

Research on the "Modernized Korean traditional housing" (Hanok) has been actively studied in succeeding to Korean traditional housing and providing the public with housing that required for modernized life style. The purpose of this study is to classify work sections for Hanok specifications. This paper analyzed the concepts and characteristics of existing specifications. It was found that the absence of standard classifications is one of the causes of missing work items and mixed scopes. Also, the contents of carpentry works have low level of details. Therefore, Hanok specifications, in this study, are required to have upper level standards and to encompass traditional and new construction methods. Further research will develop standard classifications, standard codes, and automated systems of Hanok specifications for improving quality and effectiveness.
This study is to investigate the various concepts of ecology for developing the perspectives and approaching guidelines to the ecological building design. The concepts of ecology may be some background to the environmental issues within architecture. While there are many words which mean environmentally-friendly architecture, ecological building design to which I refer here is the ecocentric and holistic design rather than the anthropocentric and mechanical one. Ecological and social systems are open, interacting, and unpredictable. So we should leave room within our planning of architectural project and in construction of new housing development for nature's unpredictable events. The approach to ecological building design might be the holistic perspectives, the respect of place and participation of people, to admit the complexity and diversity. The world in which we are living is highly unstable.
Thus study presents the basic concepts of 3 span continuous preflex composite beam of bridges by re-up down of supports and analysis relationship of between variables and stress of critical section. Also, it shows the pre-compression effects of re-up down of supports method by presenting the difference of between old section and new section got from new method. This study's new method makes more economic sections to be possible and when the sections designed with the existing method are used in the new method. efficient stress state is accomplished.
Since nursing has come of age both as a profession and as a scholarly discipline, there has been increasing concern with delineating its theory base. In 1978 Chinn and Jacobs asserted that “the development of theory is the most crucial task facing nursing today.” The basic building blocks of theories are concepts. Concept formation begins in infancy, for concepts help us to categorize and organize our environmental stimuli. Concepts help us to identify how our experiences are similar or equivalent by categorizing all the things that are alike about them. concepts can be primitive, concrete, or abstract. Concept Analysis is a strategy that examines the attributes or characteristics of a concept. It is a formal, linguistic exercise to determine those defining attributes. It encourages communication. Its basic purpose is to distinguish between the defining and irrelevant attributes of a concept similarities. It is a process of determining the differences between concepts and it is useful for several reasons. It is an excellent way to begin examining information in preparation for research or theory construction and results in an operational definition and a list of defining attributes and antecedents. It provides the scientist with an excellent beginning for a new tool, is an excellent way of evaluating an old one and is useful in evaluating existing instruments. The steps of concept analysis are : 1. Select a concept, 2. Determine the aims or purposes of the analysis, 3. Identify all uses of the concept that you can discover, 4. Determine the defining attributes, 5. Construct a model case, 6. Construct borderline, re-lated, contrary, invented, and illegitimate cases, 7. Identify antecedents and consequences, 8. Define empirical referents. In this paper, the concept selected for analysis was Love. The concept of love is of great interest to nursing because loving care is considered vital to the nursing care of patients. The aims of the concept analysis of love were to clarify the meaning of love, to develop an operational definition for it and to contribute to existing nursing theory. Love influences the quality of life which is the goal of nursing according to Parse in her Human Becoming Theory. Lived experiences are the entities for study in Parse's Research Methodology. Human caring, human understanding, and human becoming are the most important issues in lived experiences. In this research, dictionaries and literature from nursing philosophy and other human disciplines were used to identify the concept of love. As many different instances of the concept as could be found were examinned. The model case was a real life example of the use of the concept. Next borderline, related, invented, and contrary cases were constructed for the purpose of providing examples of “not the concept” and for promoting further understanding of the concept being discussed. The defining attributes of the concept of love were concern, responsibility, respect, understanding and dedication. Love was defined as showing concern and understanding. relating with mutual respect and dedicating oneself responsibly to others. Concept analysis is a highly creative activity and may add significant new information to a given area of interest. It is a strategy for developing a concept based on observation or other forms of empirical evidence. The purpose of concept analysis is to generate new ideas. It provides a method of examining data for new insights that contribute to theoretical development. This concept analysis suggests that a nurse’s love for patients is shown in the process of giving oneself in mutual relationships of responsibility and respect and in continuously providing understanding and quality human care for them.
