Analyzing the Effect of Characteristics of Dictionary on the Accuracy of Document Classifiers (용어 사전의 특성이 문서 분류 정확도에 미치는 영향 연구)

  • As the volume of unstructured data increases through various social media, Internet news articles, and blogs, the importance of text analysis and the studies are increasing. Since text analysis is mostly performed on a specific domain or topic, the importance of constructing and applying a domain-specific dictionary has been increased. The quality of dictionary has a direct impact on the results of the unstructured data analysis and it is much more important since it present a perspective of analysis. In the literature, most studies on text analysis has emphasized the importance of dictionaries to acquire clean and high quality results. However, unfortunately, a rigorous verification of the effects of dictionaries has not been studied, even if it is already known as the most essential factor of text analysis. In this paper, we generate three dictionaries in various ways from 39,800 news articles and analyze and verify the effect each dictionary on the accuracy of document classification by defining the concept of Intrinsic Rate. 1) A batch construction method which is building a dictionary based on the frequency of terms in the entire documents 2) A method of extracting the terms by category and integrating the terms 3) A method of extracting the features according to each category and integrating them. We compared accuracy of three artificial neural network-based document classifiers to evaluate the quality of dictionaries. As a result of the experiment, the accuracy tend to increase when the "Intrinsic Rate" is high and we found the possibility to improve accuracy of document classification by increasing the intrinsic rate of the dictionary.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate housing DB construction for elderly people. Document research and content analysis methods were used in this study. The major results of this study are as follows. The number of elderly household is increasing very rapidly. In particular, they consist of a single person or a couple. These households prefer to live and age in a detached house. However, the social welfare system does not satisfy their needs. Therefore a systematic social support or welfare system is required to reflect their needs. For example, related works of housing welfare need to be prepared so that their data base system correctly reflects the socio-demographic characteristics and living conditions of the elderly.

  • This study is basic experiment for estimating influence of strength by curing temperature of concrete's heat of hydration and estimate relationship of compressive strength development by initial curing temperature factor, and then asume temperature factor which influence compressive strength development and for showing basic document of qualify control. According to the result of cement mortar by the curing temperature factor high-curing temperature shows high strength on 3 day compare with low curing-temperature, shows higher strength than the piece of high curing temperature.

  • Luoyang Qielanji(洛陽伽藍記) is a document that describes Buddhist Temples in Luoyang, the capital of Northern Wei Dynasty. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the construction backgrounds, architectural elements and layout characteristics of Luoyang Temples in Northern Wei Dynasty. The results are as follows: The construction backgrounds of Luoyang Temples can be categorized into two types: the established-temple (創建型) and the converted-temple(捨宅爲寺型). The layout systems of Luoyang Temples can also be categorized into two main types: The front Pagoda-rear Buddhist Hall layout(前塔後殿), The front Buddhist Hall-rear Lecture Hall layout(前殿後堂). In Luoyang Temples, the pagoda was still an important element of the layout.

A Dynamic Ontology-based Multi-Agent Context-Awareness User Profile Construction Method for Personalized Information Retrieval

  • With the increase in amount of data and information available on the web, there have been high demands on personalized information retrieval services to provide context-aware services for the web users. This paper proposes a novel dynamic multi-agent context-awareness user profile construction method based on ontology to incorporate concepts and properties to model the user profile. This method comprehensively considers the frequency and the specific of the concept in one document and its corresponding domain ontology to construct the user profile, based on which, a fuzzy c-means clustering method is adopted to cluster the user's interest domain, and a dynamic update policy is adopted to continuously consider the change of the users' interest. The simulation result shows that along with the gradual perfection of the our user profile, our proposed system is better than traditional semantic based retrieval system in terms of the Recall Ratio and Precision Ratio.

  • As a matter of fact, the document which has been developed to resolve the obvious conflicts between the interests of buyer and seller is the bill of lading. The bill of lading provides the seller with some security against default by the buyer and the buyer with some assurance of performance of the seller before the buyer is required to make payment. So to speak, the B/L provides some extent protection for both seller and buyer. This is a study on the construction of Liner Bill of Lading(Code name : CONLINEBILL) adopted by BIMCO(The Baltic and International Maritime Conference) and is using a basic bill of lading in the liner ships operation. In this study, the writer makes a wider and deeper study of rights of rights and obligations of Contract Parties by means of the rules of construction, specially focusing the Carriers liability under Carriage of Goods by Sea Act 1971(COGSA 1971), Hague-Visby Rules and Korea Commercial Law.

  • In Korea, the government has developed SEUMTER, an administration system for building related public service, to facilitate and promote the electronic submission and permission activities. SEUMTER is progressing legality system based on 2D drawing for building administration permission service. However, there are a lot of problems related to legality system owing to complexity of Korea regulation relation and structure, inefficiency of legality system based on 2D drawing, duplication examination of document (soliciting forms for civil affairs) and drawing. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to develop legality system for building administration permission service based on BIM in Korea. To achieve this purpose, the authors have investigated permission procedure and regulation structure that is used in current building administration permission and suggested permission procedure and regulation structure for legality system based on BIM. In addition, the authors have investigated element technologies (for examples, method of structured regulation, BIM model checker, Viewer, etc) for legality system based on BIM. Finally, the authors have suggested strategy and hereafter direction for application of legality system based on BIM.

  • Contract design plays a key role in the life cycle of BOT project. All project management activities and operation processes are arranged in consistence with the document of BOT contract which the public sector ensures that the respective roles and responsibilities set out in the contract are fully understood and fulfilled to the contracted performance criteria. With limited theories to deal with some fundamental issues of BOT contract design, we try to collect data from case studies and formulate several practical principles. The conclusions presented in this paper are analyzed from two cases, one is based on an early case in the United Kingdom, and the other based on the Taiwan High Speed Railway case. The purpose of this paper is not about covering all legal issues about BOT contract design, but rather, our work provides common considerations applicable to the contract parties of a broad range of BOT contracts. The results in this paper shall propose some fundamental principles of the BOT contract design.

  • The purpose of the study is to implement the digital archives to document environmental conflicts using open source Omeka. Mi-ryang Transmission Tower Construction Conflict is the selected case because it is very crucial and continues until today for more than 10 years. It begins with analyzing domestic and international cases of archives developed using Omeka. Based on these analysis, it draws the directions of developing Mi-ryang archives. It also investigates and analyzes the Mi-ryang conflicts as the contexts of records creation, acquire the actual records from a Mi-ryang civic group, and finally implement the collections and exhibits of Omeka-based archival system.
