  • This study is to examine the relation between leisure constraints and participation by leisure type of security agents. By using purposive sampling method, this study collected 387 questionnaires in 14 private security service registered in 2009 at the Seoul National Police Agency. Cronbach's $\alpha$ .673. The conclusion are as follow. First, leisure constraints difference in socio-demographic characteristics such as sex, age, education level, income, position, job pattern. Second, in case of hobby and cultural activities, higher time constraints showed lesser frequency of participation, higher structural constraints showed lesser period of participation, higher personal constraints showed lesser intensity of participation. On the other hand, high time constraitns had high intensity of participation. In case of play and entertainment activities, even with high self-conscious constraints, it showed increased frequency and period of participation and high personal constraints showed increased period of participation but in contrast, higher structural constraints showed decreased frequency of participation and period. In case of viewing and appreciative activities, even with high interpersonal constraints, frequency and period of participation increased and higher time constraints also had increased period of participation. On the other hand, higher structural constraints showed decrease in frequency of participation and period.

  • In addtion to a basic motion task, redundant manipulators can achieve some additional tasks by optimizing proper performance criteria. Some of performance criteria can be transformed to inequality constraints. So the redundancy resolving problem can be reformulated as a local optimization problem with equality constraints for the end effector and inequality constraints for some performance criteria. In this article, we propose a method for solving the inverse kinematics of a manipulator with redundancy using the Kuhn-Tucker theorem to incorporate inequality constraints. With proper choice of inequality constraints, the proposed method gives a way of optimizing multiple criteria in redundant manipulators.

  • This paper addresses the dynamic consideration of the athletic constraints on skating motion. In order to generate a human-like skating motion, the athletic constraints are distinctively analyzed into dynamic constraints and physical constraints. A close investigation of the athletic constraints evolved valid extent of dominant parameter for a leg muscle. During the human-like skating motion, the state of actuation was shifted from region of maximum force to region of maximum power. Simulation results were intuitively comprehensible, and the effectiveness of analytic algorithm was demonstrated for skating motion.

  • In order to adapt today's short product life cycle and rapid technology changes., integrated systems should be extended to support PDM (Product Data Management) or CE(Concurrent Engineering). A PDM/CE environment has been developed and a prototype is Presented in this paper. Features of the PDM/CE environment are 1) integrated product information model (IPIM) includes both data model and integrity constraints, 2) database systems are organized hierarchically so that working data C8Mot be referenced by other application systems until they are released into the global database, and 3) integrity constraints written in EXPRESS are validated both in the local databases and the global database. By keeping the integrity of the product data, undesirable propagation of illegal data to other application system can be prevented. For efficient validation, the constraints are distributed into the local and the global schemata. Separate triggering mechanisms are devised using the dependency of constraints to three different data operations, i.e., insertion, deletion, and update.

  • This paper presents a modified task structure of coupled-constraints consensus based bundle algorithm especially to resolve the cooperative transportation problem. The cooperative transportation mission has various types of constraints. A modified framework to generate activities and subtasks to solve time and task constraints of the transportation mission by using coupled-constraints consensus based bundle algorithm is suggested. In this paper modifications on task structure, reward function and arrival time calculation are suggested to handle the constraints of cooperative transportation mission.

  • Spatiotemporal phenomena are ubiquitous aspects of real world. In the spatial and temporal databases, integrity constraints maintain the semantics of specific application domain and relationship between domains when proceed update in the database. Efficient maintenance of data integrity has become a critical problem, since testing the validity of a large number of constraints in a large database and after each transaction is an expensive task. Especially, in spatiotemporal domain, data is more complex than traditional domains and very active. Additionally, it is not considered that unified frameworks deal with both spatial and temporal properties to handle integrity constraints. Therefore, there need a model to maintain integrity constraints in the unified frameworks and enforcement and management techniques in order to preserve consistence.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the issues which how situational constraints of negotiation affect outcomes. To achieve the purpose of this research, a multiple regression model was set up to identify the relationships between situational constraints of negotiation and negotiation outcome on international trade contracts. To implement the study, empirical questionnaires were collected from Korean business men who have actually conducted international trade with foreign firms. Reliability analysis and factor analysis were used to assess the reliability and validity of research variables. and multiple regression analysis were used for testing the relationships between situational constraints of negotiation and negotiation outcome. From this study, following results were identified; i) situational constraints of negotiation effects on negotiation outcomes ii) arbitrary and continuous situations affect significantly positive on negotiation outcomes iii) submissive situations affect significantly negative effects on negotiation outcomes In conclusion, participant of negotiation and their managers try to promote negotiation situation toward to arbitrary and continuous situations if they have any availability.

  • This paper describes the development of new feature positioning method which embedded into the top-down assembly modeling system supporting conceptual design. In this work, the user provides the geometric constraints representing the position and size of features, then the system calculates their proper solution. The use of geometric constraints which are easy to understand intuitively enables the user to represent his design intents about geometric shapes, and enables the system to propagate the changes automatically when some editing occurs. To find the proper solution of given constraints, the Selective Solving Method in which the redundant or conflict equations are detected and discarded is devised. The validity of feature shapes satisfying the constraints can be maintained by this technique, and under or over constrained user-defined constraints can also be estimated. The problems such as getting the initial guess, controlling the multiple solutions, and dealing with objects of rotational symmetry are also resolved. Through this work, the feature based modeling system can support more general and convenient modeling method, and keeps the model being valid during modifying models.

  • The development of computer integrated systems for structural design requires models to describe and organize information and activities involved in design. An entity-based integrated design model involves a number of product and process entities. Product entities and process entities describe design information and design activities, respectively. One type of relationships among entities is interaction relationships, which describe interdependencies among design information. The interaction relationships can be represented as constraints. Types of constraints include demand constraints, dependency constraints, and interaction constraints. The concepts of representing and processing demand constraints in an entity-based integrated design model are presented.
