체면이 명품소비행동에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on How Chemyon Influence Consuming Behaviors for the Luxury Brands)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of luxury brand value on luxury brand preferences according to chemyon(social-face). For data collection, research questionnaires were responded by 222 females over 20 years old consumers living in Pusan and Ulsan. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 14.0 for windows Package by frequency analysis, the factor analysis using Varimax, reliability analysis, multi-regression analysis, and chow-test. The results of this study were as follows: First, concerning the worth of luxury brands that qualify value, conspicuous value, unique value, and emotional value significantly affected the consumers' luxury brand preferences. On the other hand, only social value of the luxury brand did not have a significant effect on the consumers luxury brand preferences. Second, the study was to investigate whether the luxury brand value has an effect on the brand preferences according the consumer's chemyon or not. The results showed different effects of perceived values on luxury brand preferences between the low chemyon group and the high chemyon group. The high chemyon group had an effect on conspicuous value, social value, and emotional value, while the low chemyon group had an effect on quality value for luxury brand preference.

중고(中古) 명품(名品) 사이트의 운영실태(運營實態)와 소비자(消費者) 특성(特性)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (The Study on Consumer in Second Hand Luxury Market)

  • The purposes of this study were to review the management systems of internet web sites dealing with 'second hand luxury goods', examine purchasing motives and the level of satisfaction, and identify the differences of consumers' characteristics between purchasers and non-purchasers. 8 representative internet web sites were investigated. And 80 purchasers and 94 non-purchasers were surveyed using questionnaires. The data were analyzed using t-test and frequency analysis. The results were as followings: 1) Most purchasers of second hand luxury goods were women aged 20's. They used internet web sites to purchase real luxury goods more cheaply and were satisfied with their purchase behavior; 2) Both purchasers and non-purchasers of second hand luxury goods got high scores for the self-esteem and the propensity of materialism and conspicuous consumption which were above average. But both of them were less influenced by reference group; and 3) The propensity of materialism and the preference to name brands of purchasers were higher than those of non-purchasers.

청소년의 인터넷 아이템의 구매실태 및 충동, 모방, 과시소비 성향 (Adolescents' Actual Conditions of Buying and Impulsive Buying, Imitative Buying, and Conspicuous Consumption on the Internet Items)

  • The aims of this study were to examine the actual conditions surrounding the purchasing of online game items and Internet cyberspace items by adolescents the propensity of adolescents to consume these items, to determine the difference in the propensity for high and low consumption of these items among adolescents, and to investigate the characteristics of the adolescents who show a high propensity for the consumption of Internet items. The data for this study were collected from 483 adolescent consumers who were middle school and high school students in the city of Bucheon in Gyeonggi Province. The statistical methods used for the data analysis included frequency, percentage, standard deviation, t-test, and one-way ANOVA. The results of the present study can be summarized as follows. The majority(79.5%) of the students surveyed had had the experience of purchasing items. Most students(67.5%) had a rare frequency of buying ($1{\sim}2$ times in a period of 6 months or less). Nearly half (47.9%) of the students spent less than 1000 won per month on the item(s) purchased. Most of the students purchased items with their parents' permission, but 26.6% of the students bought the items without their parents' permission. Most of the characteristics of the items purchased, such as the major item purchased, payment method, amount purchased per month, average amount spent per buying experience, and whether or not they had their parents' permission differed according to gender, grade level, record, and monthly allowance. The level of propensity to consume the items was not high. The propensity of imitation consumption (1.96) was lower than that of impulsive consumption (2.38) and conspicuous consumption (2.45). Most of the buying characteristics, including the major item purchased, payment method, amount purchased per month, average amount spent per buying experience, parents' permission, grade level, and monthly allowance were different between the high and low propensity for consumption groups.

패션 쇼핑성향이 모바일 구매의도에 미치는 영향 - 성별/구매빈도에 따른 차이 - (The effect of fashion shopping orientation on consumer's purchase intention in a mobile shopping mall - The differences of groups according to gender and purchase frequency -)

  • The purposes of this study were to: 1) identify sub-factors of fashion shopping orientation (FSO) in adults aged 20 through 39, and analyze the differences among those FSO factors according to classified groups, which were based on gender and purchase frequency in a mobile shopping mall, and 2) to investigate the effects of FSO factors on mobile purchase intention according to the same classified groups. The questionnaire was conducted from November 10, 2015 to November 20, 2015 and its 432 respondents were classified into four groups, which were male/heavy purchaser, male/light purchaser, female/heavy purchaser, and female/light purchaser. The results of this study were as follows: First, fashion shopping orientation consisted of five sub-factors, which included "conspicuous brand pursuit", "economic pursuit", "pleasure/trend pursuit", "impulse shopping", and "convenience pursuit". Second, There were significant differences in three factors of FSO between male purchasers and female purchasers. Male purchasers showed higher tendency than female purchasers in "conspicuous brand pursuit", while female purchasers showed higher tendency than male purchasers in "economic pursuit" and "convenience pursuit". All the factors of FSO showed significant differences among the classified groups. Third, "economic pursuit", "pleasure/trend pursuit" and "convenience pursuit" affected mobile purchase intention in the case of male purchasers while "economic pursuit" and "conspicuous brand pursuit" had a influence on mobile purchase intention in the case of female purchasers. Fourth, the factors of FSO affected mobile purchase intention partly in each group. In conclusion. "economic pursuit" was proven to be the main influential factor to induce consumers to have a mobile purchase intention.

아동소비자의 매체별 유료 콘텐츠 사용특성과 금전인식 연구 (Children's Use of Paid Content Based on Media and Monetary Concepts)

  • This study examines the use of paid content by children and identifies their monetary concept based on the following three research questions: (1) What are the characteristics of paid-content use by children? (2) How can the monetary concept of children be classified? (3) How does this monetary concept vary across use groups? Data were collected from 245 elementary school students. Based on the results, there were two types of media content used by children: mobile and computer content. Children were classified into four consumer groups based on the type media content use and the amount of content use. In addition, monetary concepts of children using paid content had two dimensions: money for means and that for objects. For computer users, monetary concept for conspicuous consumption and mammonism were more likely in the high-use group than in the low-use group. For mobile users, there was no significant difference in money for means and money for objects between the high-use group and the low-use group. The limitations of this study offer some interesting avenues for future research.

초등학생의 자아개념 유형별 인터넷 아이템 구매행동 및 자기평가 (Children's Self-Concept Typology and its Effect on Internet Item Purchase Behavior and Self-Evaluation)

  • The purpose of the study was to examine the internet purchase behavior of items and self-assessment according to self-concept of elementary school students. The data were collected from 716 elementary school students by a self-administered questionnaire. Frequencies and means, Cronbach's Alpha, factor analysis, t-test, Pearson's correlation analysis, cross-tabulation analysis, cluster Analysis were conducted by SPSSWIN 12.0. The results from this study were as follows; First, from self-concept measurements, 4 factors(affective, social, schooling, Family self-concept) were extracted through factor analysis. Second, the subjects were classified into 3 clusters as self-concept types(high self-concept, middle self-concept, low self-concept) through cluster analysis. Third, the significant variables affecting internet purchase behaviors of items included grade, allowance, rank in class, the number of hours on the internet. As the self-concept gets higher, the frequence of the impulsive purchase and imitation purchases gets lower. In the contrary, as the self-concept gets higher, the self-assessment on the impulse purchases and imitation purchases also gets higher. In combination, these results suggest that irrational purchase behaviors were protected by positive self-concept, therefore it is important that children have positive a self-concept.

한국인의 우쭐 심리적 특성이 명품에 관한 소비자 태도에 미치는 영향 (The Influence on the Korean Uzzul(Boasting) Psychological Characteristic on the Consumer Attitude of Luxury Good)

  • 본 연구는 한국인의 우쭐 심리적 특성이 명품에 대한 소비자들의 태도에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 선행 문헌분석을 토대로 한국인의 우쭐 심리적 특성에 대해 살펴보았으며, 이러한 한국인의 우쭐 심리적 특성이 명품에 대한 소비자들의 태도와 어떤 관계성이 있는 가를 확인하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 한국인의 우쭐 심리적 특성은 6개의 하위요인으로 나타났다. 둘째, 명품에 대한 소비자들의 태도는 요인분석결과 2개의 요인으로 나타났다. 셋째, 한국인의 우쭐 심리적 특성이 명품에 대한 소비자들의 태도에 미치는 영향을 확인한 결과, 자존감의식성 요인과 거만의식성 요인이 쾌락적 태도에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 상대인정성 요인은 품질신뢰 태도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 그동안의 명품관련 연구들에서 주로 다루어 왔던 과시적 체면 이라는 심리적 변인에서 탈피하여, 우쭐 이라는 한국인의 또 다른 심리적 특성 변인을 토대로 연구를 진행했다는 점에서 가치가 있으며, 향후 명품광고를 제작하는 실무자에게 타겟 집단의 우쫄 심리적 특성을 고려해야만 하는 시사점을 제공해 주었다.

온라인 쇼핑시 소비자특성에 따른 소비자감정 및 만족 간 관계 연구 - 의류구매를 중심으로 (A Study on the Relationship between Consumer Characteristics and Consumer Emotion and Satisfaction during Online Shopping - Focusing on purchasing clothes)

  • 본 연구에서는 온라인 쇼핑 상황에서 소비자특성이 소비자감정과 소비자만족에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 그 구조적 관계를 파악하고자 했다. 먼저, 소비자특성은 선행연구를 통해 정보탐색성향, 물질주의성향, 충동구매성향 등을 포함한 다양한 소비성향을 도출하였다. 다음으로, 소비자감정은 정보탐색에서부터 사용에 이르는 6개의 구매과정에서의 긍정적·부정적 감정으로 정의하였으며, 소비자만족은 구매경험의 전반적 만족으로 정의하였다. 이를 위해 최근 1개월 이내 온라인 의류 쇼핑 경험이 있는 20-40대 소비자를 대상으로, 소비자특성과 긍정적·부정적 감정과 소비자만족을 각각 측정하여 구조방정식 분석을 실시했다. 그 결과, 모형 적합도는 양호했으며, 충동구매성향과 과시소비성향, 혁신성향, 유행추구적쇼핑성향의 경우 부정적감정에만 영향을 미쳤다. 반면, 정보탐색성향, 쾌락적쇼핑성향, 경제적쇼핑성향은 긍정적감정에 영향을 미치고, 소비자만족에도 간접적 영향을 미치는 것을 확인했다. 이를 통해 소비자특성 파악 및 소비자 감정의 증진으로 온라인 쇼핑에서의 소비자 경험을 향상시킬 수 있는 시사점을 제시하였다.

Consumption Behavior and Fashion Orientation for Luxury Brands of Japanese and Korean Consumers

  • The purpose of this study is to clarify the relationship between consumption behavior and fashion orientation for luxury brands in Japanese and Korean consumers. For this study, the author carried out a questionnaire survey with objects of 816 Koreans and Japanese, and analyzed the relations among consumer attitude, purchase behavior, lifestyle and fashion orientation. First, in Korea, all fashion orientations gave positive effects on attitude toward luxury brands, and especially it has a significant relation with factors affecting luxury brand consumption, so when luxury enterprises establish a marketing strategy for Koreans, they need to refer to fashion orientation intensively. Second, as a result of analyzing the relation between fashion orientation and purchasing behavior, it was found that fashion interest is an important factor affecting luxury brand purchasing behaviors, in both Japan and Korea. Third, Japanese luxury brand enterprises need to focus on consumers who prefer standard goods. while Korean enterprises need to focus on consumers who prefer specific brands. Lastly, in case of Japanese consumers, the more they pursue self-esteem and reasonable consumption, the higher they prefer standard goods, while the more Korean consumers pursue conspicuous consumption, hedonic consumption and self-esteem, the higher Koreans prefer specific brands.

한국 근대 문화 소비 주체로서 모던 신세대의 가치관, 소비문화, 의복 태도 특성: 1920년대~1930년대를 중심으로 (The Values, Consumption Culture, and Clothing Attitudes of a Modern New Generation as the Primary Consumer of Modern Korean Culture: From the 1920's to the 1930's)

  • The purpose of this study was to characterize the new women, modern girls and modern boys from the 1920's to the 1930's as a modern new generation, the primary consumer of modern consumption culture, and to examine their values, lifestyles, consumption culture and clothing attitudes. The data were obtained from the magazines and newspapers published from 1920's to 1930's and previous literatures, and analyzed by qualitative content analysis. The results were as follows: A modern new generation meant the new women, modern girls, and modern boys seeking for the western looks and cultural tastes. The values of a new generation people were individualism, materialism, and modernism which was the same as Americanism. They enjoyed western lifestyles and sports and consumed new mass media and popular culture. Their clothing attitudes were fashion orientation, conformity, symbolism, conspicuous consumption, aesthetic value, individuality, and practicality.
