Significant research has been devoted to the consistency index of the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) from several perspectives. Critics of the consistency index in AHP state that the critical value of consistency index depends on an average of the random index based simulation study using a 9 scale comparison matrix. We found that the distribution of the consistency index followed the skew distribution according to the dimension of the comparison matrix based on a simulation study with a 9 scale comparison matrix. From the simulation study, we suggest a consistency index quantile table to assist the decision-making process in AHP; in addition, we can approximate the distribution of the consistency index to the gamma distribution under the limited assumptions.

The most widely used models to study the quality of service are the SERVQUAL and SERVPERF models that measure service mechanisms. This paper is to estimate service efficiency and consistency for Retail Industry. We tried to measure the service quality and overall satisfaction by using DEA and PCI, degree of combination and top2box which is a little bit different methodology from traditional ones. Rather than using the usual method of converting the service quality index by mean value, the Service Efficiency Index(SEI) and Service Quality Consistency Index(SQCI) are used to measure the efficiency and consistency level, which in turn can be used as the new service quality indices. The result of SEI and SQCI show the efficiency frontier in retail industry that 6 DMUs are analyzed relative efficient DMUs, 12DMUs are inefficient DMUs and retail Industry consistency level appeared low(0.35-0.47) Also, there is a significant difference in terms of efficiency and consistency in the each retail industry. Finally, we showed the summarized result as the Effi-Con Matrix.

The effects of refining consistency and plate gap on the specific energy consumption and physical properties of liner were investigated. Higher refining consistency and narrower plate gap brought about the reduction of specific energy consumption to decrease the freeness. Refining consistency and plate gap did not affect the bulk, Taber stiffness and compression index. The reduction of freeness and/or the increase of specific energy consumption caused the decrease of bulk and Taber stiffness, but increased the compression index. The effect of grammage on bulk was not observed, but Taber stiffness and compression index were increased with grammage. The bulk was decreased with the reduction of freeness rapidly at the above 400 mL CSF, and then levelled off. It is expected that the reduction of energy consumption could be obtained from the application of higher refining consistency and narrower plate gap during refining.

Using the computer simulation method, we invest19ate the probability distribution of maximum eigenvalue of pair-wise comparison matrix, which has been used as a parameter for measuring the consistency of responses in analytic hierarchy process (AHP). We show that the shape of the distribution of the maximum eigenvalue is different according to the dimension of the matrix. In addition, we cannot find any evidence that the distribution of the Consistency Index is a Normal distribution, which has been claimed in the Previous literature. Accordingly, we suggest using so called K-index calcu1ated based on the concept of cumulative distribution function lather than based on that of arithmetic mean because the probabilistic distribution cannot be assumed to be a Normal distribution. We interpret the simulation results by comparing them with the suggestion of Saaty[11]. Our results show that using Saaty＇s value could be too generous when the dimension of the matrix is 3 and strict over 4. Finally, we propose new criteria for measuring the response consistency in AHP.

Time course gene expression data is a large amount of data observed over time in microarray experiments. This data can also simultaneously identify the level of gene expression. However, the experiment process is complex, resulting in frequent missing values due to various causes. In this paper, we propose a pattern consistency index adaptive nearest neighbors as a method of missing value imputation. This method combines the adaptive nearest neighbors (ANN) method that reflects local characteristics and the pattern consistency index that considers consistent degree for gene expression between observations over time points. We conducted a Monte Carlo simulation study to evaluate the usefulness of proposed the pattern consistency index adaptive nearest neighbors (PANN) method for two yeast time course data.

The rheological properties of Korean white gruel at various concentrations (4-7%) and temperatures (30-60$^{\circ}C$) were investigated. The rheological behavior of Korean white gruel was evaluated by Herschel-Bulkley equation and showed typical Bingham psedoplastic behavior with yield stress. Flow behavior index was increased at over 5％ of rice content. Consistency index was increased by the increase of concentration of rice. But, measuring temperature was not effected in the flow behavior index and consistency index. Yield stress was increased by the incerase of concentration of rice and the decrease of measuring temperature. The activation energy of flow of Korean gruel increased from 7.646 to 32.949${\times}$10/Sup 6/ J/Kg$.$ mole by increasing concentration from 4％ to 7％. As the temperature increased from 30$^{\circ}C$ to 60$^{\circ}C$, B-value decresed from 1.214 to 0.947 Flow behavior index and consistency index was reduced during storage.

Clayey soils with swelling and shrinkage characteristics have been major causes for many problems in roads, buildings and other civil engineering infrastructure in various areas of Pakistan, particularly where there are several patches of such soils on either side of Indus River. As the consistency characteristics are directly related with the variation of moisture content; therefore, this study was explicitly focused to investigate the effect of lime and wheat straw on the consistency characteristics of clayey soils with relatively high swelling and shrinkage characteristics. The consistency test results indicate that by the increase in lime content there is a decrease in the plasticity index of soil; for instance, 10% lime content resulted to 59% decrease in the plasticity index value. On the other hand; the addition of wheat straw resulted in a significant increase in the plasticity index; for instance, 10% wheat straw content resulted to a 120% increase in the plasticity index. This study has further shown that the shrinkage and swelling of clayey soils which resulting to several problems in the civil engineering infrastructures may adequately be managed through mixing an appropriate amount of lime and wheat straw as soil stabilizing agent for both immediate and long-term effects.

PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to establish the reliability and validity of the Wheelchair User's Shoulder Pain Index (WUSPI), which was translated into Korean for long-term wheelchair users. This index measured 15 functional activities, including transfer, self-care, wheelchair mobility and general activities. METHODS: To assess test-retest reliability, 23 long-term wheelchair users completed this self-administered index twice within the same day. Reliability was determined by the intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC), and Cronbach's alpha was used to measure internal consistency. To examine concurrent validity, 21 long-term wheelchair users completed the questionnaire, and we examined the correlation between the index score and the shoulder range of motion measurements. RESULT: The results showed that the intraclass correlation for test-retest reliability of the total index score ranging from .88 to .99 was good to excellent. Additionally, Cronbach's alpha was .96. The internal consistency indicated excellent. Concurrent validity showed negative correlations of total index score to range of motion measurements of shoulder flexion (rho=-.58), extension (rho=-.09), abduction (rho=-.59), external rotation (rho=-.07) and internal rotation (rho=-.3), suggesting a relationship of total index score to loss of shoulder range of motion. CONCLUSION: The Korean WUSPI shows not only high reliability and internal consistency, but also concurrent validity with loss of shoulder flexion and abduction.

In this paper, we propose a pattern consistency index for detecting heterogeneous time series that deviate from the representative pattern of each cluster in clustering time course gene expression data using the Pearson correlation coefficient. We examine its usefulness by applying this index to serum time course gene expression data from microarrays.

Technology convergence is a global megatrends. In addition, developed contries should study for the new technology convergence production. Index of technology convergence has side effects that increase the value of production in the technology convergence and add to difference list about plan, however, this is difficult to verify. This paper presents a method to maintain consistency using list and confirm this when evaluation.
