An easy elevator originated is an opened system to compare an existing equipment, and learning efficient is high as a wiring that the sequence control circuit is on and off. The structure of an equipment to be controled from the first floor to the fifth floor is constructed by a lamp to express the function of the open-close of the door according to the cage moving, to express the mechanical actuation of the forward-reverse break and motor of load and of hand-worked control component of Push-Button S/W, L/S and Relay. In order to act of the elevator function that these components connected, designed the auto program and the sequence control circuit. Consequently the process that these(1~5steps) operated the cage with an auto program of the elevator and the sequence control circuit is controled by the step of forward and reverse that the L/S1~L/S5 of sensor adjust function let posit, by the adjustable S/W1~S/W5 of PLC testing panel and the S/W1~S/W5 which installed on the transparent acryl plate of a frame. In here, improved apparatus is the learning equipment of combined use to study the principle and the technique of the originated sequence control circuit and the auto program of PLC.

This paper suggests an event-based scenario manager capable of creating and editing a scenario for shipbuilding process simulation based on multibody dynamics. To configure various situation in shipyards and easily connect with multibody dynamics, the proposed method has two main concepts: an Actor and an Action List. The Actor represents the anatomic unit of action in the multibody dynamics and can be connected to a specific component of the dynamics kernel such as the body and joint. The user can make a scenario up by combining the actors. The Action List contains information for arranging and executing the actors. Since the shipbuilding process is a kind of event-based sequence, all simulation models were configured using Discrete EVent System Specification (DEVS) formalism. The proposed method was applied to simulations of various operations in shipyards such as lifting and erection of a block and heavy load lifting operation using multiple cranes.

This paper presents the depth evaluation for object detection by automated assembling robots. Pattern distortion analysis from a structured light system identifies an object with the greatest depth from its background. An automated assembling robot should prior select and pick an object with the greatest depth to reduce the physical harm during the picking action of the robot arm. Object detection is then combined with a depth evaluation to provide contour, showing the edges of an object with the greatest depth. The contour provides shape information to an automated assembling robot, which equips the laser based proxy sensor, for picking up and placing an object in the intended place. The depth evaluation process using structured light for an automated electronics assembling robot is accelerated for an image frame to be used for computation using the simplest experimental set, which consists of a single camera and projector. The experiments for the depth evaluation process required 31 ms to 32 ms, which were optimized for the robot vision system that equips a 30-frames-per-second camera.
A static synchronous compensator (STATCOM) applied to rapidly changing, highly unbalanced loads such as electric arc furnaces (EAFs), requires both positive-sequence and negative-sequence current control, which indicates fast response characteristics and can be controlled independently. Furthermore, a delta-connected STATCOM with cascaded H-bridge configuration accompanying multiple separate DC-sides, should have high performance zero-sequence current control to suppress a phase-to-phase imbalance in DC-side voltages when compensating for unbalanced load. In this paper, actual EAF data is analyzed to reflect on the design of current controllers and a pioneering zero-sequence current controller with a superb transient performance is devised, which generates an imaginary -axis component from the presumed response of forwarded reference. Via simulation and experiments, the performance of the positive, negative, and zero-sequence current control of a cascaded H-bridge STATCOM for EAF is verified.
Offshore wind farms are rapidly growing owing to their comparatively more stable wind conditions than onshore and land-based wind farms. The power capacity of offshore wind turbines has been increased to 5MW in order to capture a larger amount of wind energy, which results in an increase of each component's size. Furthermore, the weight of the marine turbine components installed in the nacelle directly influences the total mechanical design, as well as the operation and maintenance (O&M) costs. A reduction in the weight of the nacelle allows for cost-effective tower and foundation structures. On the other hand, longer transmission distances from an offshore wind turbine to the load leads to higher energy losses. In this regard, DC transmission is more useful than AC transmission in terms of efficiency because no reactive power is generated/consumed by DC transmission cables. This paper describes some of the challenges and difficulties faced in designing high-power-density power conversion systems (HPDPCSs) for offshore wind turbines. A new approach for high gain/high voltage systems is introduced using transformerless power conversion technologies. Finally, the proposed converter is evaluated in terms of step-up conversion ratio, device number, modulation, and costs.
Conventional boost-full-bridge and boost-hybrid-bridge two-stage inverters are widely applied in order to adapt to the wide dc input voltage range of photovoltaic arrays. However, the efficiency of the conventional topology is not fully optimized because additional switching losses are generated in the voltage conversion so that the input voltage rises and then falls. Moreover, the electrolytic capacitors in a dc-link lead to a larger volume combined with increases in both weight and cost. This paper proposes a higher efficiency inverter with time-sharing synchronous modulation. The energy transmission paths, wheeling branches and switching losses for the high-frequency switches are optimized so that the overall efficiency is greatly improved. In this paper, a contrastive analysis of the component losses for the conventional and proposed inverter topologies is carried out in MATLAB. Finally, the high-efficiency under different switching frequencies and different input voltages is verified by a 3 kW prototype.
The magnitude and phase of the compensating voltage in Dynamic Voltage Restorer (DVR) system depend on the voltage sag in the phases affected by the fault and on the influence of the zero sequence components. If the delta connection of the transformer is used, the zero sequence components do not appear on the load side. But nowadays, Y connected transformers with grounded neutral, that is 3-phase 4-wire system, are usually used. Therefore the zero-sequence components are occurred during faults. The zero-sequence components result in the high insulation costs and the asymmetry of the phase and magnitude of the terminal voltages. In this paper 3 phase 4 wire distribution system and 3 phase 3 wire system are analyzed and characteristics of voltage sag are presented. And this paper proposes the method that can mitigate the zero-sequence under the unbalance faults causing voltage sage and phase angle iumps.
Voltage instability has been studied for some decade now. But, There is not generally accepted definition of voltage instability because of the complex phenomenon and the variety of ways in which it can manifest itself. Both IEEE and CIGRE have the respective definitions. The areas of voltage instability research are the analysis, simulation and countermeasure of voltage instability. It needs to model the components of the power system to simulate the voltage instability and voltage collapse. At the beginning, the static simulation was used. This method provides the voltage stability indices and it requires less CPU resource and gives much insight into the voltage and power problem. However, it is less accurate than the dynamic simulation peformed in the time domain simulation. So, when it appears difficult to secure the voltage stability margin in a static stability, it is necessary to perform the dynamic simulation. To perform time-domain simulation, we have to model the dynamic component of the power system like a generator and a load. The dynamic simulation provides the accurate result of the voltage instability. But, it is not able to provide the sensitivity information or the degree of stability and it is time consuming and it needs much CPU resource. In this Paper, we perform a dynamic simulation of voltage instability and voltage collapse using EMTP MODELS. The exponential load model is designed with MODEIS and this load model is connected with test power system. The result shows the process of voltage change in time domain when the voltage instability or voltage collapse occurs.
