  • Because of environmental crisis, researchers are seeking and developing a new, clean, safe and renewable energy. Solar cell energy and fuel cell energy have inestimable development potential. The paper introduces hybrid photovoltaic-fuel cell generation systems supplying a remote power load and hybrid system of solar cell and fuel cell considering the advantages of stable and sustainable energy from the economic point of view. Fuel cell power system has been proven a viable technology to back up severe PV power fluctuations under inclement weather conditions. Fuel cell power generation, containing small land us, is able to alleviate the heavy burden for large surface requirement of PV power plants. In addition, the PV-fuel cell hybrid power system shows a very little potential for lifetime $CO_2$ emissions. In this paper shows the I-V characteristics of the solar module which are dependent on the power of the halogen lamp and the I-V characteristics of fuel cells which are connected in parallel. Also, it shows efficiency of the hybrid system.

  • We investigated the damage of the CMOS IC which manufactured three different technologies by high power microwave. The tests separated the two methods in accordance with the types of the CMOS IC located inner waveguide. The only CMOS IC which was located inner waveguide was occurred breakdown below the max electric field (23.94kV/m) without destruction but the CMOS IC which was connected IC to line organically was located inner waveguide and it was occurred breakdown and destruction below the max electric field. Also destructed CMOS IC was removed their surface and a chip condition was analyzed by SEM. The SEM analysis of the damaged devices showed onchuipwire and bondwire destruction like melting due to thermal effect. The tested results are applied to the fundamental data which interprets the combination mechanism of the semiconductors from artificial electromagnetic wave environment and are applied to the data which understand electromagnetic wave effects of electronic equipments.

  • In this note we show that there is an anti-symplectic involution $\sigma\;:\;X\;\to\;X$ on a simply-connected, closed, non-Kahler and symplectic 4-manifold X with a disjoint union of Riemann surfaces ${\amalg}^n_{i=1}{\Sigma}_i,\;n\;{\ge}\;2$ as a fixed point set. Also we show that its quotient X/$\sigma$ is homeomorphic to $\mathbb{CP}^2{\sharp}r\mathbb{CP}^2$ but not diffeomorphic to $\mathbb{CP}^2{\sharp}r\mathbb{CP}^2,\;r\;=\;b_2^-(X/{\sigma})$.

  • The variable node plate bending element, ie, the element with one or two additional mid-side nodes is used in the analysis of mat foundation to generate the nearly ideal grid model in which more nodes are defined near the column location. The plate bending element used in this study is the one based on Mindlin/Reissner plate theory with substitute shear strain field and the nodal stresses of that element are obtained by the local smoothing technique. The interaction of the soil material with the mat foundation is modeled with Winkler springs connected to the nodal points in the mat model. The vertical stiffness of the soil material are represented in terms of a modulus of subgrade reaction and are computed in the same way as to the computation of consistent nodal force of uniform surface loading. Several mesh schemes were proposed and tested to find the most suitable scheme for mat foundation analysis.

  • This paper presents a construction of adaptive boundary element for the problem with mixed boundary conditions such as heat transfer between heated body surface and surrounding medium. The scheme is based on the sample point error analysis and on the extended error indicator, proposed earlier by the authors for the potential and elastostatic problems, and extended successfully to multidomain and thermoelastic analyses. Since the field variable is connected with its derivative on the boundary, their errors are also interconnected by the specified condition. The extended error indicator on each boundary element is modified to meet with the situation. Two numerical examples are shown to indicate the differences due to the prescribed boundary conditions.

  • A brushless DC motor has the high quality of torque output and silence, has been more widely used in industrial area. As the driver and controller of BLDC motor have been more complicated and precise, simulation method has been much used in motor design. And the output characteristics of BLDC motor is determined by the waveform of BACK-KMF in instinct. But because the conventional model of BLDC motor is obtained by approximation of real nonlinear waveform to ideal trapezoidal waveform, the error is occurred in simulation result. Thus in this paper, for the correction of this error in simulation, the model of real nonlinear waveform considered is proposed, and the simulation result is obtained in case of three-phase, four-poles Y-connected, surface mounted permanent magnet BLDC motor.

  • The far-zone magnetic field patterns of a E-plane horn antenna with various edge structures are analyzed using UTD. The ray tracing method is used to lacate the shadow boundaries, and then GO and UTD are utilized to evaluate the incident, reflected, diffracted, surface diffaracted, and the second order diffracted, diffracted-reflected, and diffracted-reflected-diffracted waves existing in each region of interest. By doing this, we analyzed the effects of flanges or caps connected on the edge of a horn antenna on the side lobe and back lobe levels. Also, the validity of this paper is proved by comparing the analytical results with those of measurement and method of moment presented in the reference.

  • Purpose: This study was performed to compare sintering conditions for fabrication of porous Ti implant. Methods: The porous Ti implant samples were fabricated by sintering of spherical Ti powders in vacuum and atmosphere conditions. Surface morphology, composition and phase were analyzed by FE-SEM, EDX and XRD. Results: Sintered Ti implant in the vacuum consisted of particles connected in three dimensions by clear necking without excessive oxide layers. However, sintered Ti implant in atmosphere was formed excessive oxide layers with non-stoichiometric compounds. Conclusion: The porous Ti implant can be sintered in vacuum condition preferably.

  • Vibration and Noise of air conditioner are entirely determined by compressor vibration. Compressor vibration transmitted to the enclosure of air conditioner or pipes connected compressor with heat exchanger. Enclosure generate(noise and vibration. Therefore, the analysis of compressor vibration analysis is considered significant technical issue. For the reduction of vibration of compressor, it is necessary to grasp correctly vibration transmission paths and excitation sources in the compressor shell. Because, shell ( Surface of compressor ) shows whole vibration characteristic of compressor mechanism. In this paper, vibration intensity was applied to measure vibration energy flow on the shell .From this technique, it is possible to catch the path of vibration propagation along the one cycle and the location of vibration energy sources may change with time on the shell.

  • A two-dimensional numerical method for inviscid two-fluid flows with evolution of density interface is developed, and an initially stationary two-dimensional fluid sheet surrounded by another fluid is studied. The Interface between two fluids is modeled as a vertex sheet, and the flow field u÷th the evolution of interface is solved by using vortex-in-cell/front-tracking method. The edge of the sheet Is pulled back into the sheet due to surface tension and a blob is formed at the edge. This blob and fluid sheet are connected by a thin neck. In the inviscid limit, such process of the blob and neck formation is examined in detail and their kinematic characteristics are summarized with dimensionless parameters. The edge recedes at $V=1.06({\sigma}/{\rho}h)^{0.5}$ and the capillary wave Propagating into the fluid sheet must be considered for bettor understanding of the edge receding.
