신문기사를 통해 본 이혼 양상에 대한 내용분석(I) - 1920∼1930년대 조선ㆍ동아일보를 중심으로 - (The Content Analysis of Newspaper Articles on Divorce -Focusing on Choseun ilbo and Donga ilbo in the 1920′s and 1930′s -)

  • In this study, the major tendencies of divorce as represented in articles of Korea's daily newspapers in the 1920's and 1930's were explored. The method used for this study was content analysis, and 432 articles related to divorce were selected for analysis from Choseun and Donga ilbo. The main categories and subcategories were classified as attitude toward divorce(negative, acceptive, neutral), present condition of divorce(statistics, suvey, analysis), cause of divorce(marital conflict, conflict with family, health-related troubles, financial troubles, and the others), and information offered about divorce(related-laws, prevention & adaptation, and the others). The major findings of this study were as follows. 1) The most frequently found category was the cause of divorce(given in 47.5% of the total articles), and especially noticeable was an increase of marital conflict. 2) In the case of attitude toward divorce(12.5%), percentiles of negative, acceptive, and neutral attitudes appeared nearly similarly, which is a representation of the transitional tendency of those times. 3) In the 1930's, information offering articles(25.2%) increased quantitatively as well as qualitatively compared with the 1920's.

  • Objective: The aim of this study is to introduce activities for job stress management in shipbuilding industry. Background: Recently, workers are exposed many job stress like workload, interpersonal conflict while management condition of company changes day by day. Particularly, shipbuilding industry has poor environment which aggravating the stress to the workers. So managing job stress may be more important. Method: The method of this study is to investigate preventive actions of job stress in "S" shipbuilding company. Results: This study through case of "S" shipbuilding company introduce activities of prevention of job stress including identification of level of job stress, managing of psychological clinic, training of worker and manager. Conclusion: In order to manage the job stress in the workplace, 1) The total management system based on the concern of the management in the workplace has to be constructed. 2) Computerized system for operation of total management system has to be constructed. 3) New employees need training for Job Stress. Application: Through this case study, I hope to help prevention activities of job stress in the workplace.

당뇨병 환자에서 우울 및 불안증상과 자아탄력성, 사회적 갈등 및 지지 사이의 연관성 (Association of Depressive/Anxiety Symptoms with Ego Resilience and Social Conflict/Support in Patients with Diabetes Mellitus)

  • Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate the association of depressive/anxiety symptoms with psychosocial factors including ego resilience, social conflict, and social support as well as hemoglobin A1c in patients with diabetes mellitus (DM). Methods : The subjects were 144 patients with DM. Depressive/anxiety symptoms were evaluated by the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale. Sociodemographic factors, hemoglobin A1c, ego resilience, social conflict, and social support were measured. Multiple regression analyses were performed to examine the impact of hemoglobin A1c, ego resilience, social conflict, and social support on depressive/anxiety symptoms. Results : A total of 32.6% and 24.3% of participants were identified with depressive and anxiety symptoms, respectively. Depressive/anxiety symptoms positively correlated with the social conflict score. Conversely, ego resilience and social support negatively correlated with depressive/anxiety symptoms. In the final model of the multiple regression analyses, ego resilience was associated with a lower level of depressive (β=-0.083, p=0.019)/anxiety (β=-0.125, p=0.001) symptoms whereas social conflict was related to a higher level of depressive (β=0.353, p=0.011)/anxiety (β=0.460, p=0.003) symptoms. Also, hemoglobin A1c positively associated with anxiety symptoms (β=0.495, p=0.012) whereas social support negatively related to depressive symptoms (β=-0.464, p=0.004). Conclusion : We found possible risk and protective psychosocial factors of underlying depressive/anxiety symptoms among patients with DM. Our findings suggest that enhancing ego resilience and social support as well as decreasing social conflict would be crucial in the prevention and management of depressive/anxiety symptoms in patients with DM.

초기 청소년기 공격성의 발달적 변화와 가족 영향 요인에 대한 다층모형 분석 (Multilevel Modeling Analysis of Developmental Changes in Early Adolescent Aggression and Family Factors)

  • 본 연구는 초기 청소년기의 공격성 수준이 시간에 따라 어떠한 변화를 보이는지, 그리고 그러한 변화에 가족요인, 즉, 부모애착, 부모감독, 가족갈등이 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 검증하고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 한국청소년패널(KYPS) 초등학교 4학년 1~5차년도 자료에 대하여 다층모형을 구성하여 가족요인을 시간의존적 변수로 처리한 후 시간독립적 효과와 시간의존적 효과에 대한 실증적 검증을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 5년 동안 청소년의 공격성 수준은 증가하다가 그 증가율이 감소하는 이차함수 패턴을 보이는 것으로 확인되었다. 그리고 부모애착, 부모감독, 가족갈등은 공격성에 유의한 시간독립적 효과를 보이는 반면, 시간의존적 효과를 보이는 가족요인은 가족갈등 뿐이었다. 이러한 결과에 근거하여 청소년기 공격성에 대한 예방 및 개입과 관련된 함의가 제시되었다.

도시보건소 공무원의 조직몰입도 인과요인에 관한 연구 - 한 가설적 인과모형분석을 통해 - (A Study on Causal Factors of Organizational Commitment of Public Servants in Urban Health Centers: Testing a Hypothetical Canusal Model)

  • To find causal factors and improvement plans of organizational commitment of public servants in urban health centers, a hypothetical causal model, which included 2 endogenous variables(organizational commitment & organizational satisfaction) and 15 exogenous variables, was constructed. Exogenous variables consisted of individual factors (sex, age, education, job-grade, and annual salary), psychological variables(pride for organization, extrinsic motivation, intrinsic motivation and support of supervisor) ad structural variables(formalization, centralization, communication, job-conflict, job-decision, and workload). In the hypothetical causal model, organizational commitment was supposed to be effect variable, and organizational satisfaction was presumed to be intervening variable to mediate between organizational commitment and exogenous variables. For data collection, cross-sectional self-administered questionnaire survey was conducted to 1,295 public servants from 32 urban health centers nationwide. The survey responses were from 934, 72.1% of subjects. But 756 responses(58.4%) were analyzed because of excluding ones with missing values. The hypothetical causal model was fitted by covariance structural analysis with maximum likelihood method. Main results were as follows: (1) The fitted causal model accounted for 33 and 55 percent of total variance of organizational commitment and organizational satisfaction of public servants, respectively. (2) In order of effect size, pride for organization, supervisor support, communication, extrinsic motivation and centralization had an indirect effect effect on organizational commitment through organizational satisfaction. However, the effect of centralization was negative. (3) Pride for organiztion, intrinsic motivation, organizational satisfaction, job-conflict, supervisor support, communication, age, centralization, annual salar and extrinsic motivation had indirect or direct effects on organizational commitment in order of effect size. Among them, effects of job-conflict and centraldization were negative. In conclusion, these results suggested that organizational commitment of public servants in urban health centers could be enhanced by pride for organization, intrinsic and extrinsic motivations, prevention of job-conflict and excess centralization, supervisor support and active communication. Especially, pride for organization and intrinsic motivation were expected to play the most important role.

Novel Phage Display-Derived H5N1-Specific scFvs with Potential Use in Rapid Avian Flu Diagnosis

  • The highly pathogenic avian influenza A (HPAI) viruses of the H5N1 subtype infect poultry and have also been spreading to humans. Although new antiviral drugs and vaccinations can be effective, rapid detection would be more efficient to control the outbreak of infections. In this study, a phage-display library was applied to select antibody fragments for HPAI strain A/Hubei/1/2010. As a result, three clones were selected and sequenced. A hemagglutinin inhibition assay of the three scFvs revealed that none exhibited hemagglutination inhibition activity towards the H5N1 virus, yet they showed a higher binding affinity for several HPAI H5N1 strains compared with other influenza viruses. An ELISA confirmed that the HA protein was the target of the scFvs, and the results of a protein structure simulation showed that all the selected scFvs bound to the HA2 subunit of the HA protein. In conclusion, the three selected scFVs could be useful for developing a specific detection tool for the surveillance of HPAI epidemic strains.

초등학교 폭력예방을 위한 집단상담 프로그램의 적용과 그 효과(II) : 피해성향 아동을 대상으로 (Application and Effect of Group Counseling Program for Prevention of Elementary School Violence(II) : for Victimizers)

  • Recently, one of the authors of this study, Huh (2008), developed a group counseling program "With love, With friendship I, II" for bullies and victimizers of elementary school violence. The present study is designed to test program II, for victimizers. The program was administered to eleven school violence victimizers. Participants completed the Anxiety Scale, Self-esteem Test, Pro-sociability Test and Conflict Resolution Strategy Test. Collected data were analyzed using t-Test and ANCOVA. The results showed that anxiety in the experimental group decreased significantly while self-esteem and pro-social behavior increased significantly compared to the control group. Implications of these results were discussed with focus on applicability of the program in the school setting.

미국의 이혼 후 부모교육 프로그램의 현황과 명가에 대한 고찰 (literature Review of The Present Situation ana Evaluation of Parent Education Programs after Divorce in the USA.)

  • The Purpose of this study was to examine the present situation and evaluation of Parent education programs after divorce in the USA. Divorce Education Programs for Divorcing Parents have been explosively developed and executed after 1990's in America, and the half of them are court-connected mandatory prevention programs. This paper analyses the social background of nationwide provision, the present situation, and evaluates the evaluation and future prospect of the programs. Finally the implications for the Korean society are suggested.

The major findings of this study were as follows. 1) The most frequently found category was information offered about divorce, and the following categories were featured in the newspapers in the order of cause of divorce, present condition of divorce, and attitude toward divorce. 2) The major discussions of divorce as represented in articles of Korea's daily newspapers from the 1940's to 1990's have been reflecting the changes of related laws, policy and legislation in our society. 3) The content analysis of newspaper articles on divorce indicated that concepts of marriage, divorce and family in our society have been diversified.

ADS-B 개념기반의 지대지 감시 Test bed 성능평가 (Performance Evaluation of the Ground-to-Ground Surveillance Test bed Based on ADS-B Concept)

  • 본 연구에서는, ADS-B 개념을 기반으로 한국항공우주연구원에서 개발한 지대지 감시 test bed를 통한 TIS-B, 활주로 침입방지, 충돌경고, 경로지정 등의 기능에 대한 평가가 이루어졌다. STDMA 프로토콜을 채용한 VDL과, TIS-B 정보를 얻기 위해 UAT가 사용되었으며, 이동체로서 4대의 지상차량과 2대의 항공기가 포함되었다. 본 연구의 주목적은 지대지 감시에서의 ADS-B 개념을 구현하고 그 성능을 평가하는 것이다.
