This research analyzes clean room major fire prevention standard of clean Room (FM, IRI, and NFPA Code), the structure of Performance-Based Fire Safety Design (PBD) applied the korean fire industry situation. Performance-Based Fire Safety can operate effectively the performance of fire protection equipment & building design, so the fitness of fire safety system can be embodied by operating this. moreover, cost to be consume fire safety of real building can reduce and Performance-Based Fire Safety is considered to important technique in fire protection field. A fire in a clean room may cause a serious loss by spreading smoke particles. We will be investigated by using a computational fluid dynamics, for loss prevention by smoke spreading from one fire area to another for clean room and compared the Performance-Based Fire Safety Design with the prescriptive code design. The methodology of fire safety performance-based fire safety design and guarantee of many kinds design skill of fire system and developing design procedure will be very serious one in order to improve efficiency of domestic system. Therefore, This research will be contributing to secure safety of clean room and to set up the performance-based fire safety design in Korea by regulation for the performance-based fire safety design effectively.

This study suggests the basic data required in setting up the standard for the architectural planning of Korean senior center by analyzing the standard and current situation of a senior center in Japan that has the welfare facility system similar to that of Korea and understanding its architectural characteristics. 1) Basic spaces that constitute the senior center in Japan are meeting room, lecture room, library, multipurpose meeting room, conference room, game-recreation room, kitchen, lounge, locker room and office. ADL, kitchen, relaxing room, private bathroom, and special bathroom are needed for adult day care as establishments as an annex and work room is also required for Job training. 2) The area of a senior center is calculated in consideration of its space organization that are required as basic. For the type "A", minimum area of 1,256.42 $m^2$2 and maximum area of 2,050.56$m^2$ and for the type "B", minimum area of 812000$m^2$ and maximum area of 1,604.14$m^2$ are suggested as optimum areas. 3) The circulation planning is presented by the connected between the space organization as well as the circulation system in day care center.

Recently, since there appear the quality improvement in both educational and cultural level at the college campus also, thus the lecture room is requiring by the students where the intimacy degree among the students can be raised, also a smoother interaction between the professor and the student is able to be generated. Particularly in case of College of Music, the Practical Technique Training Rooms such as Orchestral Music Room, Pipe Music Concert Room, Music-Part Practice Room are more important for the interaction between Professor and Student or Student attends at the lesson, than the lecture rooms of any other colleges. Likewise, while such music practice room should be designed with consideration of the acoustic characteristics, so as to obtain the feel as if hear it performs at a music hall, but since the most of music practice room was designed with consideration of the convenience of construction work and its economical efficiency only, it has been exposed with many acoustic defects after the completion of construction. Therefore in this thesis, it has grasped the physical acoustic characteristics on the object of the two orchestral music rooms, pipe music concert room and ensemble practice room, among the newly constructed practice rooms of the Music College, W University, and it is considered that it could be utilized as the fundamental data on the base of this material when designing of the college music practice room, for the future.

Korean Apartment Housing, which has been built up for short-time, represents as popular housing reflecting our unique cultural background, and recently the utility room in apartment housing has been changed to accept residents' needs, focusing on their improving life styles. At this point, the purpose of this study Is to analyze the characteristics of the utility room between 1995 and 2005 in order to grasp the current change of the utility space in Korean Apartment Housing. For this, this research investigated 176 samples, collected in 'Apartment Encyclopedia(2004)'. The major results of this study are as follows : 1) As the utility room gets bigger, the size and the ratio to the whole unit area are increased, however the ratio in small area is bigger than the ratio in other area. 2) According to time, the utility room tends to increase the size and the ratio to the whole unit area, and the Increasing tendency appears distinctively after 2002. 3) The utility room used to be located with rear balcony area, however, now it appears to be planned Independently with its unique function. 4) Currently, Second-Kitchen start to plan in the apartment housing.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the trend of the room where activities of daily living and family events(activities of non-daily living) were performed with time. Research data was collected in 1992 and 2002 from households living in Seoul that have university student by using questionnaire surveys. Data was analyzed using the SPSS package program. The major findings of this study were as follows: 1) Living room was a multi-purpose space for various activities: receiving guests, family communication, ironing, sewing and dining as well as a kitchen. Anbang(master bed room) is the place where the couple sleeps. The room's purpose has changed from a multi-purpose space to a private space. 2) Most of the families performed the majority of the family events in the living room and Anbang. In the past, traditional events and birthday parties were performed in Anbang, but currently the trend has changed. This would mean that with time the majority of the family events were held in the living room. 3) Space planning is required to meet the dwellers' use of living room and Anbang.

The purpose of this study was to investigate using behavior and spatial composition of activity room in skilled nursing facilities for the elderly and to provide basic information about its space planning. The design guidelines for activity room were as follows. First, the plan of activity room is based on the use of once to twice per week and for 30 minutes per use, and is mainly for the human knowledge and art programs. Second, all cases of the same and different floor of the individual room could be considered as its location. Third, the area is recommended at least more than 6 square meters per person including participating elderly, staff, furniture, equipments and restroom. Fourth, the furniture of activity room include the shelves, table for at least 8 persons with enough knee space, wheel, and stack chairs. Toilets and water closet should be arranged for the emergency, and the windows to the hall and curtain door need to be avoided for soundproofs and easy accessibility of wheelchair users.

5678SMRT has installed various sensor for operating conditions(field of electric, facilities, signal, communication equipment and track) and environment of Every Function Room for remotely detecting and monitoring. Installed sound sensor for analyzed after remotely heard the noise of every equipment at Every Function Room and temperature sensor for check the temperature condition of Every Function Room. Additional installed voltage sensor in signal equipment room for monitoring RF track-circuit's voltage condition. Installed displacement sensor at The Chungdam bridge's railway for measuring and monitoring track displacement caused by temperature change and Pan/Tilt camera at sub-station and drainage for remotely field monitoring. Installed sensor for each equipment's operating condition and failure at Every Function Room then periodic check of workforce turned to around-the-clock surveillance by sensor therefore improvement of operating equipment. SMRT is lots of prevent a failure by Immediately detect of precondition of equipment failure by analyzed the sensor data. If the occurrence of an failure, become detected Immediately so possibility correct diagnosis and order by remotely field check by installed camera and sound sensor at field.
