Turbo code shows the great performance near Shannon limit on AWGN channel. Mainly, turbo code has been studied and designed for wireless digital communications. There are recent studies that applies turbo decoder on magnetic recording. Because of the limited capacity of magnetic storages, high rate turbo code is used for magnetic storages. This paper presents some issues on implementing high rate turbo code and structures for designing turbo decoder

Telegram is an indispensible information & telecommunication system to our daily life. VTS(Voice Telegram System) under intensive research is intended to enhance exchanging capability of information & telecommunication by adding voice media to existing telegram system. Overall configuration and necessary core technologies of the system were investigated for its development. Among those many technologies in need, the technology of compressing and recording data is most critical to the development of cheap hardware. This is so called vocoder algorithm and is the core technology of voice information system. So, here, vocoder algorithm now being studied will be introduced.

This paper is describes the measured electric field waveform radiated by lightning discharge. We have performed measurement and analysis of the electric fields associated with stepped leaders. Electric field measurement system was composed of hemisphere electric field sensor, measurement system of a distance from lightning strokes, automatical recording system, A/D board, personal computer etc. A/D board have high sampling time, high speed data processing, 8bit of resolution. Also, measured characteristics of stepped leaders radiated by were analyzed.

타원법(ellipsometry)을 사용하여 광기록 매체용 Ge$_2$Sb$_2$Te／sub 5／(GST) 박막의 성장과정에 따른 타원상수 Ψ와 $\Delta$를 측정하여, GST 박막의 최적성장조건을 연구하였다. 아르곤기체압력과 DC 출력 그리고 기판의 온도를 변화시키면서 GST 박막을 성장시켰다. 제작된 시료들의 분광타원 데이터를 모델링분석하여 GST 박막의 밀도분포를 구하고 한편으로는 GST 박막이 성장하는 동안 측정한 in situ 타원 성장곡선을 분석하여 박막의 밀도분포의 변화를 추적하였다. (중략)

Whole-cell recordings from adult rat sympathetic neurons demonstrate that calcium current is comprised of at least three types, N, L '||'&'||' R. We are using cell-attached patch recording to identify the single calcium channels that underlie these macroscopic currents. Single channels were resolved the presence of 100 mM Ba$\^$2＋/ and l${\mu}$M BayK 8644 over the voltage range -40 to $\^$＋/50 mV.(omitted)
