Purpose: This paper aims to evaluate and reinstate preventative guidelines necessary for a sound academic journal (or academic conference) for the articles published by KODISA and its branch journals. As questionable or predatory academic journals and academic conferences are rapidly increasing, preemptively establishing preventative standards have become essential to obviate questionable academic activities. Research design, data and methodology: This is an analytical study that explores and examines research, publication ethics, and misconducts. For this purpose, research ethics related data in overseas and domestic academic journals have been examined and analyzed. Results: The issues identified from this research are as follows: enhancing the expertise of editor-inchief (no concurrent jobs for major and non-major area); clarifying the index; complying with the review policy (The review policy should be publicly announced); complying with anonymous review process; complying with 3 peer-review policy, complying with the publication policy as per field of study; avoiding conference hosting at holiday resorts unless unavoidable; complying with the planned programs and cancelling events if not feasible; following proper review standards and management for all journals, including the journals publishing large number of articles (all materials should be prepared in case explanatory data is required); complying with the marketing policy standards; complying with the impact factor; excluding personal solicitation; and complying with the general policy. Conclusions: Questionable and predatory academic activities by academic organizations and journals will continue, and it is the responsibility of the individual scholars to identify and reject these types of dubious academic activities. This study provides standards to prevent the possibility of questionable academic activities that have been conducted in the past. The analysis and findings will strengthen the continued efforts of KODISA as it strives to be a transparent, ethical, and professional academic association, and the association will continue to foster an academic environment that is well-respected by scholars and practitioners throughout the world.

Purpose: This research article aim is to critically examine the ethical principles that govern research publication in social sciences and to identify and analyze the everyday ethical challenges social science researchers face during the publication process. Also, the research explores the factors contributing to ethical violations in social science research publication. Research design, data, and methodology: The present research has conducted comprehensive literature analysis and the authors of this research has figured out total 24 significant prior studies in the current literature dataset for the literature review and finding section. The procedure of data obtaining included the elimination process to screen dissertation papers, conference papers, and internet sources. Results: Previous The sociologies, given their emphasis on the human way of behaving and interactions, demand heightened ethical considerations due to the potential impact of research findings on individuals and society. Therefore, understanding and upholding ethical standards are essential for researchers at all career stages. Conclusions: In order to retain the integrity, legitimacy, and societal influence of research findings, ethical issues are crucial and the necessity for flexible and comprehensive ethical frameworks is highlighted by the rapid evolution of research methodology, digital platforms, and interdisciplinary collaborations, adding new dimensions of ethical complexity.

프리젠스(Presence) 서비스는 SIP(Session Initiation Protocol) 확장 서비스의 하나로서 사용자들 사이에 현재 위치의 정보나 온라인 정보 등과 같은 통신 상태의 변화를 등록(Subscription)과 Notification을 통해서 제공한다. 이때 프리젠스 정보가 변화될 때마다 전체 프리젠스 문서를 이용하여 업데이트하는 기존의 Publication 및 Notification 방식을 사용할 경우 프리젠스 정보 전송에 상당한 오버헤드가 발생한다. 이를 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 부분 Publication 및 Notification 방식을 사용하여 변화되는 최신 프리젠스 정보만으로 구성된 부분 프리젠스 문서를 메시지 바디에 포함시켜 전달하도록 함으로써 기존의 방식에 비해 효율적인 프리젠스 관련 정보 전송이 가능한 새로운 프리젠스 서비스를 구현하였다.

In the 21 st century, broadcasting, communication, and computer have been integrated due to the development of digital technology. Accordingly, to overcome the limit of respective communication media and to maintain them, their independent area shall not be classified. This study is to examine the future environment of digital TV broadcasting, to analyze customizing type service and interactive type TV technology, and to make asymmetric interactive digital TV publication broadcasting system, which is TV broadcasting in the next generation to treat visual image, sound, and various data all together by harmonizing broadcasting and communication like ISDB(Integrate Service Digital Broadcasting). In addition, to develop service on publication broadcasting with high quality, this study is tn propose to develop relative devices for TV/PC reception to realize a new communication type TV publication broadcasting, by analyzing technology for producing, sending, transmitting, receiving, and saving to apply to customizing type interactive system and by examining its application.

Previous studies in various medical specialties have shown that fewer than 50% of abstracts presented at meetings are subsequently published, but only a few studies have been performed in pediatric dentistry. The purpose of this study was to investigate the rate of publication of articles based on abstracts presented at the Korean Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (K.A.P.D) spring and fall Congress for 2001 to 2011. The abstracts for both oral and poster presentation were collected. A RISS search was then performed to identify the publication of full-length articles based on those titles of the abstracts. A total of 822 abstract presentations were done at the 22 meetings (543 as oral presentation, 279 as poster presentations). Of these, 42.2% (347) was subsequently published. The publication ratio for orally presented abstracts was 50.6% (275), poster presentations 25.8% (72). We suggest that presenters at these meetings should expand their abstracts into full manuscripts and seek to publish them in peer-reviewed journals for the benefit of the profession.

RFID 태그 부착 출판물(U-Publication)은 U-Media의 하나로 소비자가 기존의 출판물을 오프라인에서만 소비했던 것과는 달리, 복수개의 태그가 부착되어 있어 RFID 리더(reader)로 태그에 저장된 URL을 통해 온라인으로 접속할 수 있는 것을 말한다. U-Media는 사람의 생체시스템뿐만 아니라 사람이 지닌 디지털정보나 디바이스, 그리고 주변 사물과 상호작용을 하여 컨텐트 생성과 동시에 자동으로 관련 정보를 수집, 첨부함으로써, 기존의 미디어가 전달하지 못했던 정보까지 제공하여 준다[1]. U-Publication은 온라인과 오프라인이 Seamless하게 연결되어 양방향으로 정보가 이동할 수 있다는 측면에서 U-Media라고 할 수 있으며, 소비자들은 RFID 태그 부착 출판물의 인쇄된 컨텐트 뿐만 아니라 출판물에 부착된 태그의 링크를 통해서 추가적인 컨테트를 소비할 수 있고 다양한 상거래를 할 수 있다. 이 논문은 RFID 태그 부착 출판물의 정의와 이를 기반으로 한 비즈니스 모델에 대한 분석과 제안을 담고 있다.

This study is a critical assessment of research productivity through publication among scientists and engineers. This study scrutinizes previous findings on the correlates and determinant3 of publication productivity: Provides overview and organization of that knowledge ; indicates gape and shortcomings n the research; and identifies the questions and issues which are both answered and unanswered. through the analysis of the 223 mail questionnaires collected from professors of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, chemistry and physics, this study obtains the particular determinants of publication productivity at the science and engineering schools in Korea. Especially, early research productivity and the number of doctoral students are very important to publish good research articles. Also the qualities of professors' Ph. D. institution and employing university are critical influencing factors to publication productivity. The data are analyzed using correlation, ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis and all the regression models are statistically significant. All the variables in this study are focused on the socialization of individual research scientists and any psychological or personal background variables are excluded, because the perspective of this article is not that of scientific sociologist but of science and technology Policy interest. This study proves that there exists an scriptive advantage according to the individual background such as his Ph. D. institution and employing university in Korea. This study also shows that all research resources and research performances are unequally distributed. This result proposes that supporting basic research at university must begins with relative assessment of researchers, departments, and institutions in consideration with their research environment and to evaluate researchers in compared with excellent research university like SNU, KAIST, POSTECH is unequal and inadequate.

The e-Science for High Energy Physics is to study high energy physics anytime and anywhere even if we are not on-site of accelerator latboratories. The concepts are 1) data production, 2) data processing and 3) data publication. The data production is to do remote control and take shifts remotely. The data processing is to run jobs anytime, anywhere with grid farms. The data publication is to work together to publish papers using collaborative environment such as EVO (Enabling Virtual Organization) system. We apply this concept to high energy physics, espessically, CDF experiment and show the results.

As developing of the internet and computer technology, more interests are gathered to the conference service which provides capability of multi-party real-time visual conference. In this paper, we have designed and implemented a SIP-based visual conference system which includes Presence service. The elements of this conference system are user system, which has conference UA(User Agent) capability, presence seuer and conference server. For the presence service, we have adapted publication method which uses SIP PUBLISH message, and with this service various status informations of users are easily acquired. Also invitations and involvements to the conference are easily made through this service. For the conference server which controls establishment and management of multi-party connections, we have included conference event package. This package provides dynamically changing conference informations and users informations through SIP subscription and notification functions.
