해군 무기체계 한국형 상태진단시스템 발전방향 연구 (Development of Korean Condition Based Maintenance Systems to Monitor Naval Weapon Systems)

  • 한국형 상태기준정비는 현재 한국해군 함정에 설치된 ICAS를 최대한 활용하여 전투준비태세를 완비하고, 선제적 정비/보급 지원과 군수자산의 경제적 운용, 데이터 기반 장비수명관리를 위한 것이다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해서는 장비상태의 기준을 설정해야 하는데 이는 제작사에서 원천적인 기술을 제공하고 있지 않아 각 장비별 성능 맵 확보가 필요하고 고장패턴 등의 자료 축적이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 소형 가스터빈엔진을 활용하여 가스터빈 성능 맵을 확인하고 고장정보를 축적하여 실시간으로 장비성능 확인과 성능 경향을 나타내게 하였고 이를 통해 운용자의 행동지침과 정비자의 검사 절차등을 명시하여 최적의 장비상태가 유지 될 수 있도록 솔루션을 개발하였다. 본 연구를 기반으로 실제 함정의 데이터를 이용한 상태진단기법 발전에 활용할 예정이다.

  • The plant equipment usually has a long life cycle. During its O&M (Operation & Maintenance) phase, since the occurrence of an accident of offshore plant equipment causes catastrophic damage, it is necessary to make more efforts for managing critical offshore equipment. Nowadays due to the emerging ICTs (Information Communication Technologies) and sensor technologies, it is possible to gather the health status data of important offshore equipment and their environment data, which leads to much concern on CBM (Condition-Based Maintenance). In this study, we will propose an approach to estimate the remaining lifetime of an offshore plant equipment (pump tower) based on gathered ocean environment data.

  • Rolling stock needs many maintenance works because of its long service life. The maintenance of rolling stock has periodic preventive maintenance system. This periodic preventive maintenance system can't reflect the characteristics of every part. The condition-based maintenance system which reflects the functional condition of every part prevents breakdown and reduces maintenance cost. This study will analyze the records of every part by unreasonable examples of time-based preventive maintenance and reliability management activities, and discuss the necessity of maintenance system reflected the results.

선박 엔진의 상태감시 기반 고장진단 기술 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study for the Development of Fault Diagnosis Technology Based on Condition Monitoring of Marine Engine)

  • 본 연구에서는 미래의 자율운항선박의 핵심기술인 상태기반 예지보전(Condition Based Maintenance, CBM) 기술에 관한 연구로써 고장진단을 위한 실 운항선박을 대상으로 상태 모니터링 시스템의 설계/탑재 및 데이터 취득/처리/분석 기술 개발을 수행하고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 데이터 확보, 유효데이터 식별/검증을 통해 최종적인 고장진단 알고리즘 개발을 위함이며 이를 위해서는 대상 기기의 고장 메커니즘에 관한 이해가 필요하다. 따라서 선박 엔진의 FEMA 분석과 Fault Tree Analysis 과정이 수반되어야 하며 엔진의 주요 계통분류, 대상기기 식별, 고장유형, 고장원인과 현상에 대한 분석을 포함하여야 한다. 최종적으로 도출되는 CBM 시스템의 솔루션 S/W는 엔지니어링 지식기반의 실선 운항데이터에 대한 통합적인 데이터 분석을 통해 선박 엔진의 고장예측 및 진단이 가능하다. 본 연구를 통해 운항중인 실선의주 기관을 대상으로 기존 모니터링 항목 이외의 핵심 영향인자를 측정하고, 취득된 데이터에 대한 빅 데이터 분석기법을 통해 적절한 유지보수 방법과 해당 시점을 예측함으로써 향후 선박 엔진의 이상 징후에 대한 사전적 대처와 효율적인 관리가 가능하며 결과적으로 항해 중 해양사고 및 선박운항 손실을 미연에 방지할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

  • In the 4th industrial revolution, changes in the technological paradigm have had a direct impact on the maintenance system of ships. The 2-stroke low speed engine system integrates with the core equipment required for propulsive power. The Condition Based Management (CBM) is defined as a technology that predictive maintenance methods in existing calender-based or running time based maintenance systems by monitoring the condition of machinery and diagnosis/prognosis failures. In this study, we have established a framework for CBM technology development on our own, and are engaged in engineering-based failure analysis, data development and management, data feature analysis and pre-processing, and verified the reliability of failure mode DB using LSTM algorithms. We developed various simulated failure mode scenarios for 2-stroke low speed engine and researched to produce data on onshore basis test_beds. The analysis and pre-processing of normal and abnormal status data acquired through failure mode simulation experiment used various Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) techniques to feature extract not only data on the performance and efficiency of 2-stroke low speed engine but also key feature data using multivariate statistical analysis. In addition, by developing an LSTM classification algorithm, we tried to verify the reliability of various failure mode data with time-series characteristics.

  • This paper presents a visualization application using 3D-graphics for effective maintenance of power equipment. The maintenance algorithm implemented in the application is based on Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) and Reliability -Centered Maintenance (RCM). The main frame of the developed application was made up based on Windows Application Programming Interface (API) and Microsoft Fundamental Classes (MFC). In order to develop the interactive 3D application, the WorldToolKit (WTK) library based on Open GL was used. Also Text-to-Speech (TTS) technology was used to enhance the efficiency of operators. The developed application can help the power system operators to intuitively recognize the present state and maintenance information of the equipment.

  • The O&M (Operation and Maintenance) phase of offshore plants with a long life cycle requires heavy charges and more efforts than the construction phase, and the occurrence of an accident of an offshore plant causes catastrophic damage. So previous studies have focused on the development of advanced maintenance system to avoid unexpected failures. Nowadays due to the emerging ICTs (Information Communication Technologies) and sensor technologies, it is possible to gather the status data of equipment and send health monitoring data to administrator of an offshore plant in a real time way, which leads to having much concern on the condition based maintenance policy. In this study, we have reviewed previous studies associated with CBM (Condition-Based Maintenance) of offshore plants, and introduced an algorithm predicting the next failure time of the compressor which is one of essential mechanical devices in LNG FPSO (Liquefied Natural Gas Floating Production Storage and Offloading vessel). To develop the algorithm, continuous time Markov model is applied based on gathered vibration data.

  • The Yongin Light Rail train was manufactured by Bombardier Transportation in Canada in 2008 and is a privately invested railway line that has been operating in Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do, since 2013. When the frequency of train failure increases due to aging, and there is a delay in the delivery period of imported parts used in the Bombardier manufactured trains, timely vehicle maintenance may not be performed due to lack of parts. To solve this problem, it is necessary to build a 'vehicle parts maintenance demand forecasting system' that analyzes the accurate and actual maintenance demand annual based on the condition of vehicle parts. The full scope of analysis in this paper analyzes failure data from various angles after opening of Yongin light rail vehicle to analyze failure patterns for each part and identify replacement cycles according to possible failures and consumption of parts. Based on this study, it is expected that Yongin Light Rail's maintenance system will change from the existing time-based replacement (TBM) concept to the condition-based maintenance (CBM) concept. It is expected that this study will improve the efficiency of the Yongin Light Rail maintenance system and increase vehicle availability. This paper is a fundamental for establishing of a system for predicting the replacement timing of vehicle parts for Yongin Light Rail. It reports the results of data analysis on some vehicle parts.

  • 최근 철도차량은 안전성과 신뢰성 향상을 위해 점차 복잡하게 설계 제작되고, 품질에 대한 기대와 요구수준이 점차 높아짐에 따라 운영기관에서는 과학적이고 체계적인 예방 정비를 통한 안전성과 가용성 향상을 위해 노력하고 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 여러 방안들이 연구되고 있으며, 대표적으로 신뢰성 기반 유지보수(RCM; Reliability Centered Maintenance)가 철도분야에 지속적으로 도입되고 있는 추세이다. 본 연구에서는 새로운 예방정비 기술로 대두되고 있는 RCM의 기본이론에 대한 고찰과 RCM의 일반적 실시 절차를 소개하고, RCM의 국제규격인 IEC 60300-3-11, NAVAIR 00-25-403, MIL-STD-2173을 비교 분석하여 이를 바탕으로 철도차량에 RCM 도입 시 효과적이고 적합한 절차 및 방안을 제시하고자 한다.
