선박 초기 설계 프로세스 관리 시스템을 위한 프레임워크 제안 (A Framework for Preliminary Ship Design Process Management System)

  • 동시공학개념이 최적화의 개념과 함께 대두되면서 최적화 적용을 위한 많은 노력들이 실제 설계 문제에 적용되어 왔다. 하지만 최적화가 적용될 수 있는 설계 문제들은 확대되었지만 선박 설계과정은 모든 관련된 설계 작업들의 전산적인 통합의 어려움으로 인해 많은 부분들이 여전히 반복적인 접근 방법에 의존되고 있다. 이러한 접근 방법은 전체 설계 문제를 쉽게 다룰 수 있는 많은 하위 문제로 분해한 후 많은 다른 팀에 의해 복잡한 내부 상호작용 통해 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 실제 선박 설계 초기과정에 대해 초점을 맞추고 있다. 본 논문에서는 워크플로우(workflow) 기반 설계 프로세스 관리 시스템 구축을 위한 첫 단계로서, 프로세스 중심의 통합 프레임워크를 제안한다. 이 프레임워크는 크게, 관리자가 설계 진행 상황을 모니터링하고 관리할 수 있는 부분과 설계자가 설계 워크플로우를 따라 효과적으로 설계 업무를 수행할 수 있는 설계 업무 관리 부분으로 나뉘어진다. 전체 시스템은 그 관리 대상에 따라 여러 개의 모듈로 나뉘어지고, 그 모듈간에는 전체 시스템의 기능 달성을 위해 합리적인 상호작용이 이루어질 수 있도록 설계되었다. 설계 프로세스 모델은 실제 선박설계 현실의 분석을 통해 최대한 합리적이고 적용 가능한 모델이 괼 수 있도록 제안되었다. 제안된 프레임워크는 상용 워크플로우 시스템을 통해 실제로 구현될 예정이다.

사용자 계층 모바일 애드혹 라우팅 네트워크 설계와 실제 환경에서의 성능 검증 (The Design, Implementation, and Evaluation of a User-Level Mobile Ad Hoc Network Routing with COTS Devices)

  • 본 논문에서는 애드혹 라우팅 네트워크를 다양한 사용자 모바일 기기에서 사용하기 위한 설계 방법을 소개하고, 이를 모바일 기기에 직접 구현하여 실제 환경에서 어떻게 작동하는지 성능을 관찰하고 검증하였다. 상용 사용자 모바일 기기에서의 애드혹 라우팅 네트워크의 사용성을 고려해 커널을 수정하지 않고 사용자 계층에서 구현하는 디자인을 선택하였다. 또한 이동성이 높은 환경에서 적절히 사용하기 위해 기존 애드혹 라우팅 네트워크들을 분석하였으며 그 결과 사용자 계층에서 AODV (ad-hoc on-demand distance vector) 프로토콜과 TCP를 구현하였다. 모바일 기기들이 일렬로 놓여 있는 환경과 중앙 노드가 주변 노드 여러 대와 통신하는 환경에서 실험을 진행하였고, 그 결과 일렬로 놓인 환경에서 최대 12 홉, 중앙 노드와 주변 노드가 통신하는 환경에서 최대 5 개의 노드와 통신하는 것을 확인하였다.

  • Demands of customers are being changed and varied. And in this circumstance, it become a main issue of management that the company should produce and sell products according to the customer demands. With these trends, each company has been concentrating effects on generalization of product development technique and distinction of service for customer. To fulfill these demands of customer, they need a concept of eCRM(Web based Customer Relationship Management), and go from soiling products and services, or gathering customer requests, up to the phase of solving customer's problem by real time or previous action. With the help of internet, the frequency and speed of the problem solving has improved greatly. In the Supply chain, The ATP(Available to Promise) function doesn't only give customers to conformation of delivery. It can be used by the core function with ATP rule that can reconcile supplies and demands on the supply chain. Therefore We can be acquire the conformation about on the due date of supplier by using the ATP function of management about real and concurrent access on the supply chain, also decide the affect about product availability due to forecasting or customer's orders through the ATP. In this paper, It consolidates the necessity on a ATP and analyzes data which is concerned of ATP. Under the these environments, defines the ATP rule that can improve the customer value and data flow related the eCRM and builds on a algorithm.

  • Characterization of particle behavior is becoming more important in performance evaluation of water treatment system as well as in operation of the system because conventional parameter, turbidity has lack of explaining ability on small sized microorganisms such like Cryptosporidium etc. Accordingly, particle counter has been introduced in evaluation and operation of the treatment system. However researches on the relationship between turbidity, particle count and/or different sand/anthracite sizes have not been concurrent. Therefore in this study, the relationship was investigated to improve performance evaluation of sand filter so as to help choosing sand/anthracite effective size as a design parameter of water treatment facility. According to the results, too small or too large effective size media filter reached to turbidity limit(0.1 NTU)earlier. However, because shallow sand layer may cause early breakthrough, the depth of sand layer should be provided enough in order to compromise water quality and productivity.

  • A cloud computing system can be characterized by the provision of resources in the form of services to third parties on a leased, usage-based basis, as well as the private infrastructures maintained and utilized by individual organizations. To attain the desired reliability and energy efficiency in a cloud data center, trade-offs need to be carried out between system performance and power consumption. Resolving these conflicting goals is often the major challenge encountered in the design of optimization strategies for cloud data centers. The work presented in this paper is directed towards the development of an Energy-efficient and Performance-aware Cloud System equipped with strategies for dynamic switching of optimization approach. Moreover, a platform is also provided for the deployment of a Wind Farm CMS (Condition Monitoring System) which allows ubiquitous access. Due to the geographically-dispersed nature of wind farms, the CMS can take advantage of the cloud's highly scalable architecture in order to keep a reliable and efficient operation capable of handling multiple simultaneous users and huge amount of monitoring data. Using the proposed cloud architecture, a Wind Farm CMS is deployed in a virtual platform to monitor and evaluate the aging conditions of the turbine's major components in concurrent, yet isolated working environments.

Yield displacement profiles of asymmetric structures for optimum torsional response

  • Given the yield shear of a single-story inelastic structure with simple eccentricity, the problem of strength distribution among the resisting elements is investigated, with respect to minimize its torsional response during a ground motion. Making the hypothesis that the peak accelerations, of both modes of vibration, are determined from the inelastic acceleration spectrum, and assuming further that a peak response quantity is obtained by an appropriate combination rule (square root of sum of squares-SRSS or complete quadratic combination-CQC), the first aim of this study is to present an interaction relationship between the yield shear and the maximum torque that may be developed in such systems. It is shown that this torque may be developed, with equal probability, in both directions (clockwise and anticlockwise), but as it is not concurrent with the yield shear, a rational design should be based on a combination of the yield shear with a fraction of the peak torque. The second aim is to examine the response of such model structures under characteristic ground motions. These models provide a rather small peak rotation and code provisions that are based on such principles (NBCC-1995, UBC-1994, EAK-2000, NZS-1992) are superiors to EC8 (1993) and to systems with a stiffness proportional strength distribution.

클라우드 컴퓨팅 기술을 활용한 데스크탑 가상화 기반의 BIM 설계 환경 구축에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Establishment of BIM Design Environment based on Virtual Desktop Infrastructure(VDI) of Cloud Computing Technology)

  • BIM 기술은 현재 빠르게 건설 산업 전반에 적용 및 확산되고 있다. 그러나 고비용의 BIM 인프라, 법령의 부재, 운영 프로세스 등의 문제로 도입 초기의 기대와 달리 그 활용도면에서 만족할 만한 기대치를 채우지 못하고 있다. 설계 단계에서 수행되는 BIM 기술 기반의 협업 설계 인프라 구축은 성공적인 건설 프로젝트를 위한 필수 요소로 볼 수 있다. 현재 BIM은 클라우드 컴퓨팅기술과 결합하여 드로잉, 3D 모델링, 객체 데이터, 속성 정보 등을 생성할 수 있는 서비스 들이 파생되고 있으며 설계 인프라를 위한 핵심으로 떠오르고 있다. 본 논문은 VDI 시스템 환경 설정 및 구축을 통해 BIM 모델링, Viewing, 모델 체크, 마크업 등 BIM을 수행할 수 있는 서버 인프라 서비스 구축 방안을 제시한다. VDI 성능 시스템 테스트를 통하여 BIM 설계 환경에 필요한 가상 머신 리소스를 산정하고 배분하는 방식을 제안하여 클라우드 컴퓨팅 기반 BIM 설계 및 BIM 설계정보를 활용 프로젝트 운영 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 동시공학적 생산개념을 부재 생산자동화에 적용시킨 웹 기반의 통합 네스팅 시스템을 제안한다. 일반적으로 판재 부재 생산 공정은 정해진 순서에 따라 순차적으로 진행된다. 그러나 본 논문에서는 이들 공정들의 특성을 분석하여 클라이언트/서버 환경에서 운용될 수 있도록 분산 설계하였다. 그리고 판재 부재 생산에 필요한 부재 CAD, 네스팅, 부재 CAM, NC포스트프로세서 기능들을 웹 환경에서 다수의 작업자가 시스템에서 일괄 처리할 수 있도록 구현하였다. 개발된 시스템은 기존의 상용시스템에 비해 생산 자동화의 통합작업 환경을 제공할 수 있고, 작업자간의 공동작업이 가능하며, 작업대기 시간을 단축할 수 있음을 입증하였다. 본 논문은 부재생산 자동화분야에 컴퓨터 시스템 기술들을 접목함으로서 공장자동화의 효율성과 생산성 향상에 기여할 수 있음을 증명하였다.

A Study on the Body Shape Analysis for an Avatar Generation of the Virtual Fitting System -Focusing on Korean Women in their 20's-

  • In the virtual fitting system, the use of a 3D avatar is not a simple garment model, but it should be able to reproduce the size and shape of the customer using a fitting system. Although various virtual fitting systems have their own 3D avatar sizing systems and provide 3D avatars that match the size of the customer, there are limitations in realizing the actual body shape in actual use by the consumer. The purpose of this study is to realize a 3D avatar with excellent size and conformity for customer use. Therefore, this study aims to provide basic data for the formation of a 3D standard avatar of Korean women aged in their 20's, by comparing and analyzing the degree of the consumer user friendly system change of a body type, and the consumer's ability in selecting a consumer representative body type. Based on the survey data of 'Size Korea' conducted from 2004 to 2015 at three times, we examined the change of body shape over 10 years. Then, based on the results of 6th and 7th data, 4 factors of the concurrent body shape change of women of the consumer demographic studied were selected through the use of a factor analysis. Following this analysis, the 4 extracted factors were clustered again and finally released 7 representative body types, which were obtained based on height and weight. The size of each representative figure is derived by the use of a regression analysis, and it is used as a basic data for 3D avatar formation of the virtual fitting system.

좌표계 연성에 의한 동력전달계 포함 차량 운동 시뮬레이션 연구 (The study of a Vehicle Dynamic Simulation Including Powertrain About the Coordinate System Connectivity)

  • Recently, the importance of CAE research is growing with the advances of the automotive and computer industry. In addition, multi-body dynamics and powertrain analysis are the most important factors in improving the vehicle design. Since engine torque with curve-data was used for analyzing full car simulation in the multi-body dynamics system for many years, it is impossible to assess the concurrent analysis of the engine and powertrain element included in a real full car system. In powertrain, since vehicle are usually modeled as a simple mass and a inertia, they can not be seen as real cars. Moreover, it is hard to obtain additional dynamics data other than the longitudinal velocity value in movement. Because of the reason that was previously discussed, it is necessary to consolidate the two parts as one routine program for design and development through the coordinate system connectivity, and presented here is a program named O-DYN. Using an object-oriented language C++, this program has a good structure with the valuable characteristics of objectivity, inheritance, and reusability. The reliability of this multi-body dynamics program is examined by DADS, which is the general dynamics program, using DAE solver and PECE integral function with the common coordinator separation method. As a result, we can obtain a better solution and total dynamics data in either area through this process. This program will be useful for analyzing full car simulation with powertrain.
