'In-Jon(人尊)' is one of a concept which constitute the mainstay of Daesoon thought. To be superficial, the concept is appeared to be limited at a area of anthropology, but In-Jon is a large concept which includes ontology and epistemology. Because the essence of human being is connected with God and the such possibility is related to the mission of human being's subject who exists in world. Advanced researches to analysis of in-jon tend to focus on rise of human status but this study do on universal subject not particular subject. This is to elaborate the point of issue. The point of view as rise of human status overlooks problem of relationship between human entities. who ingenerate hierarchy. In-jon is the universal subject of philosophical subject concepts which western philosophy have taken as main problem since Descartes. So we have to consider In-jon to be conceptual continuity concerning stream of history of ideas and communicate with ideas. A precedent study on 'injon' concept has weak conceptual analysis, which only emphasizes the greatness of mankind as compared with others. But that can't reveal In-jon based on the Daesoon thought. So I try to engraft the concept on development of subject ideas to get academic objectivity. In-jon is great in having universal subject to expand the authority of God to all creation. That is the last goal which subject can reaches through the development. Considering this regard the research direction of this study is very encouraging and significant. Western philosophy has important philosopher of the three, Descartes, Kant, Hegel. Those are a spectrum who show an aspect of subject ideas. The subject idea has become the middle of philosophical system since Descartes in modern. It is the right and necessary process to philosophy because human being has spirit or reason connected with God. So In-jon in Daesoon thought is academic concept comprising ontological and epistemological properties. So I try to analyse In-jon through that and have In-jon join the ranks of mainstream academics in this paper
Copyright law has functioned to certify the authorship and artistic identity of an artist as well as to remunerate the artist's labor in monetary terms. However, the legal stability of copyright law may be questioned and even challenged because it shares the ground with unfixed notions of the concept of art. This study is an attempt to find theoretical argument where such instability of copyright law stems from, by looking into the theories of Aesthetics and history of arts. The first argument builds up on the ambiguity of discriminating between the Aesthetic concept of expression and idea. The second argument illuminates how new conventions of creating art work and emerging ideals of making art prevents to accommodate copyright law in the fields of art. New art forms such as conceptual art and place specific art are such examples. Increasing role of public arts projects also questions the conventional adoptions of copyright law. Arts management is closely related with this phenomena since their job is to administer the complex situation of introducing artists to the knowledge of copyright law.
'Gyeokmulchiji' (格物致知), coming to knowledge based on the investigation of things) is a starting point for any study and politics of Confucianism. Much emphasis was placed on the conception of 'Gyeokchi' as a root of every learning and adminstration in the early Joseon period. As Confucianism established itself as a salient value system of the government, a mighty change and paradigm shift happened in its governmental system which had depended upon Buddhism up to that time. Thus, Confucian statecraft also stood out. Daehakyeonui (大學衍義) was preached as a model of regal learning and politics in the governmental agon, and its conceptual starting point was 'Gyeokchi.' The various interpretations and arguments about this concept shows the process in which Zhu Xi NeoConfucianism was deepened into Neo-Confucianism of Joseon's own. This conception reached the essence of 'Li' beyond the problem of cognitive subject and object, and provided a watershed which divided Giho (畿湖) and Yeongnam (嶺南) schools. Confucian method of study, which incorporates knowledge and practice, has great implications for our times when there are many voices of concern over humanities. The enhancement of universities and humanities is much needed to adjust the direction and pace of scientific technology, which is now entirely left with the logic of market. Accordingly, it is quite urgent for us to examine our object of learning again, which should integrate 'Sugi' (修己, cultivating oneself) with 'Chi-in' (治人, governing others), and knowledge with practice.
The main purpose of the study is to identify critical risk factors for development of a family assessment tool to screen high risk family. This study used a conceptual framework of family diagnosis developed by Eui-sook Kim's (1993) and analyzed risk factors to identify the high risk family. As employing a explorative and methodological study design, this study has four stages. 1. In the first stage, 34 family risk factors were identified by doing intensive literature review on conceptual framework of family diagnoses. 2. In the second stage, above risk factors were tested for content validity by consultation with 29 persons in community health nursing, nursing education, family theory, and social work. 3. In the third stage, existing survey data was used for actual application of the identified risk factors. The survey data used for this purpose was previously collected for the community diagnosis in a region of Seoul. At the final stage, through the comparison between high risk and low risk families, initially identified 34 risk factors decreased to 25 risk factors. Among 34 risk factors, six factors did not agree with content of questionnaries sand two factors were not significant in differentiating the high risk family Also, two risk factors showed high correlation between themselves, so only one of those two factors was chosen. As a result, twenty-five risk factors chosen to identify the high risk family are following ; 1. A single parent family due to divorce or death of a partner, or unweded single mother 2. A family with an unrelated household members 3. A family with a working mother with a young child 4. A family with no regular income 5. A family with no rule in family or too strict rules 6. A family with little or no support from other lam-ily members 7. A family with little or no support from friends or relatives 8. A family with little or no time to share with each other 9. A family with family history of hypertension, diabetus, cancer 10. A family with a sick person 11. A family with a mentally ill person 12. A family with a disabled person 13. A family with an alcoholic person 14. A family with a excessive smoker who smokes more than 1 pack / day 15. A family with too much salt intake in their diet. 16. A family with inappropriate management skills for family health 17. A family with high utilization of drug store than hospital to solve the health problems of the family 18. A family with disharmony between husband and wife 19. A family with conflicts among the family members 20. A family with unequal division of labor among family members 21. An authoritative family structure 22. A socially isolated family 23. The location of house is not residential area 24. A family with high risk of accidents 25. The drinking water and sewage systems are not hygienic. The main implication of the results of this study is clinical use. The high risk factors can be used to identify the high risk family effectively and efficiently. The use of high risk factors woule contribute to develop a conceptual framework of family diagnosis in Korea and the list of risk factors need to be revised continuously. Further researches are needed to develop an index of weight of each risk factor and to validate the risk factors.
In 2023, the Cultural Heritage Administration of Korea is transforming a system that has been in existence for the past 60 years. In these circumstances, an increasing recognition of the need for such changes is intended to start the study of the historical context in the conceptual development of cultural heritage. The employment of imported concepts of heritage created the demand for understanding at least the original contexts. Many European concepts have been introduced. In this study, the French Revolution is selected as the starting point for historical research on conceptual development. France opened a new horizon to national heritage since the establishment of the Republic at the end of the 18th century. The French Revolution placed monuments denied by the collapse of the Ancien Regime back into the boundaries of protection. In this process, the Commission des Monuments and the Commission Temporaire des Arts were created. There were limits to conservation activities in the context of the revolution and war. However, it is meaningful in that they established conservation principles with instructions and created new value for looking at monuments. It was pioneering in that it demonstrated the perspective of national heritage. This is significant because the top flow of conceptual development has led to a monument historique, bien culturel, and patrimoine culturel in France. This history provides a universal essence and has great implications for Korea as a divided country
The purpose of this study was to develop a program for the history of science and technology in order for the technical high school students to understand the nature of science (NOS). The program was composed of the six topics based on the textbooks such as convergence science and physics I, and was taught to 290 10th graders at a technical high school located in the metropolitan area. The questionnaire about NOS was asked the students before and after the instruction, so as to investigate the effect of the program on improving their understandings of NOS. The analysis followed t-test and ANOVA using SPSS 23.0 for Windows program. The questionnaire based on the conceptual framework of the four themes of the NOS (Lee, 2014). The research findings were as follows. First, the program was effective in improving their understanding of NOS since the t-test result was significant statistically for the overall domains of NOS (p<.01). Second, there was no significant gender differences in the understanding of NOS among technical high school students (p<.05), neither did their majors (p<.05). Third, all domains in NOS were statistically correlated (p<.01), and in a particular, each domain was consistently correlated with the aspect of the nature of the interactions among science, technology, and society. Hence, the further studies should be conducted to examine how the history of science and technology effects the understanding of the NOS and how the domains in NOS affected each other.
This paper is an attempt to discuss the history and the current state of 'SF theaters.' SF theater is still an unfamiliar genre to the public, and may surprise some, given that the stage is perceived as an insufficient space for stretching the scientific imagination. Since 2010 works that bring the scientific imagination into the theater have frequently been performed, and a recognition of SF theaters began to be established. Producers came to be absorbed in human psychology, and our isolation amidst the progress in technology, as well as in the absurdities of the world, while giving up the ideal of realistic descriptions. This became the foundation for SF theaters in South Korea today. Starting from the research history and the conceptual change in SF theaters, this study examined the status of SF dramas going back to the colonial period for SF theaters. Through inquiring into the history of SF theaters, we were able to derive the following implications and problems. Firstly, as they are based on future society or technical improvement without consideration of scientific probability or rationality, the scientific imagination is too absent for the work to be named 'SF theater.' Secondly, while being highly evaluated as an attempt to integrate science and stage in an era that emphasizes convergence, when we delve into the creativity of a material it is noticeable that the view of the world is still regressive. Thirdly, there are many cases in which scripts lean on SF classics or Japanese original works. Nevertheless, if young creators' diverse attempts in a genre can breathe with the contemporary audience desiring a new material, the foundation of a Korean-style SF theater may be expanded to include more significant work.
The purpose of this study is a exploratory study for understanding the process of the social isolation of the socially isolated elderly through the approach to their life history. The research was analyzed by one of the methods of qualitative research on life history, the conceptual framework of 'Dimensions, turning, and adaptation' of Mandelbaum(1973). According to the results of this study, the socially isolated elderly people were found to be socially isolated by experiencing complex difficulties such as family disconnection, poverty, poor job and health deterioration. Specifically, in the area of life, there was experience of poor relationship with parent, absence of family, poverty of family and unfavorable relationship with surrounding people in life with original family before isolation. They had bad jobs in the labor market, such as hard labor, delivery, business, and chores. In the area of turning point, we experienced family break due to the separation of the original family and the spouse due to various reasons such as financial crisis, parental divorce and death, spouse affair, economic difficulty. In a transitional stage in the life, many reasons such as the financial crisis, the death of parents, the extramarital affair and economic difficulties led to the disconnection from their original family and their spouses. In an adaptive phase, participants accepted the changed life at each turning point in their lives, carrying out their roles, compromising and trying to adapt properly. He said that their current life, which has entered the social safety net system of the people's basic recipients, has led him to live a more stable life and is adapting to personal hobbies and vicarious satisfaction through networks. This result is somewhat different from previous studies in which isolated elderly people were severely exposed to the risk of depression and loneliness. However, we should also consider the characteristics of this study that interviewed elderly people with relatively low isolation. Based on the results of this research, he presented various practical policy implications.
The purpose of this paper is that it analyzes the historical development of the concept of trigonometric functions and discuss some didactical implications. The results of the study are as follows. First, the concept of trigonometric functions is developed from line segments measuring ratios to numbers representing the ratios. Geometry, arithmetic, algebra and analysis has been integrated in this process. Secondly, as a result of developing from practical calculation to theoretical function, periodicity is formalized, but 'trigonometry' is overlooked. Third, it must be taught trigonometry relationally and structurally by the principle of similarity. Fourth, the conceptual generalization of trigonometric functions must be recognized as epistemological obstacle, and it should be improved to emphasize the integration revealed in history. The results of these studies provide some useful suggestions to teaching and learning of trigonometry.
Enactivism is the most influential and groundbreaking approach among the various theories of embodied cognition. Despite of it's impact and relatively long history, however, Enactivism is still considered as a new and unfamiliar theory in the Korean academic society. Even though this might be partly due to the genuine depth and dramatic approach of Enactivism, it is also due to the disagreement of Korean translation of Enactivism. This paper reviews the philosophical and theoretical implications of Enactivism in the context of history and conceptual terrain, and discusses how the various tranlated Korean words of 'Enaction' - '발제(發製)' '구성(構成)', or '행위화(行爲化)'- embraced and interpreted the essence of philosophy and concept of 'Enaction' and 'Enactivism'. Furthermore, we offer several alternatives Korean translations of 'Enaction': '실행(實行)', 수행(遂行/修行), or 작동(作動). Through this discussion, we hope to provide an opportunity for Korean researchers and philosophers to direct their attention to Enactivism properly and to make a common ground for further development of Enactivism in Korea.
