  • 최근 국내 여성의 유방암 발생율은 1위를 차지하며 그 비율 또한 나날이 늘어가고 있는 추세이다. 하지만 유방암은 다른 암에 비해 5년간 관찰 생존율이 약 76%로 갑상선에 이어 두 번째의 생존율을 보이며, 이는 조기발견의 중요성을 다시 한번 상기시키게 한다. 하지만 국내에서 사용되는 유방암 조기검진 방법에는 Mammography(유방촬영술)와 초음파 진단 두 가지가 주를 이루고 있으나 촬영과정 및 장비에 따른 오차로 인한 객관화된 정보생성 부족 및 전달의 부족으로 문제점이 대두되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 Mamography 및 초음파 유방 진단술을 이용하여 전문의의 의사결정에 도움을 줄 수 있는 CAD(Computer Aided Diagnosis) 시스템의 유방암 진단의 특징을 이용, 전문의 관점의 모델링을 기술해보고자 한다.

  • MOSFET의 모델을 설정하여 여러 bias 조건하에서 연결방정식과 Poisson 방정식을 numerical method로 풀어 그 해로서 전자와 정공의 분포와 전위분포를 구하였으며 또한 그 결과를 종래의 analytic한 이론들과 비교하여 보다 정확하고 CAD(Computer Aided Design)에 적합한 모델을 제안하였다.

  • Computer aided molecular modeling can help to predict the three dimensional structure of the polypeptide without the sample. The study on soybean Bowman-Birk protease inhibitor (SBI) is valuable, because it has been recently known that SBI possesses anticarcinogenic activities and immune-stimulating properties. SBI has several isoinhibitors, whose isolation and characterization were reported in 1990. Among these, DII inhibits trypsin only. The different inhibitory specificities cannot be explained only by their different primary sequences, but is possible with further assistance by the study on their different three dimensional structures. The study on the three dimensional structure of DII using homology method is reported in this paper.

  • A computer-aided simulation modeling system has been developed to allow the automatic construction of complete discrete simulation models for queueing systems. Three types of knowledge are used in the specification and construction of a simulation modeling: Knowledge of queueing system, simulation modeling, and a target simulation language. This knowledge has been incorporated into the underlying rule base in the form of extraction and construction rule, and implemented via the expert system building tool, OPS5. This paper suggested a knowledge based approach for automatic programming to enable a user who lacks modeling knowledge and simulation language expertize to quickly build executable models.

  • This study deals with CARS (Computer Aided ROMUM System) which is a computer version of ROMUM (RObot Modularization of the Unit Motion). ROMUM was a method developed by the concept of modularization of the unit motion of robots. Because CARS is a computer assisted method of menu-driven type for human interface, this method can be easily applied for analyzing the work motion and measuring the execution time of robots. Therefore, it will be helpful for reducing the analysis effort and time of robot work.

  • Tangible user interfaces have attracted strong attention in the HCI(Human and Computer Interface) community for their ability to take advantage of skills humans develop in the real world. We are developing "tangible media aided design system" which employs physical objects i.e., brick as interfacing media for 3D graphic modeling. This system is targeting for persons who are afraid of experiencing 3D graphic modeling and virtual space, or have a sense of reluctance in approaching to them. Our approach suggests the easiest way for people to experience computer system and virtual space carefree while developing and improving their space sense. This work is one of initial explorations of media aided design system using tangible user interfaces.

  • Object-oriented programming goes on increasing in many areas, as its advantages of flexibility and ease of maintenance have been recognized. As in usual programmings, the productivity and flexibility of CACSD package can be improved by adopting object-oriented programmin. This paper describes our efforts to implement an OO-CACSD(Object Oriented CACSD) package for control system design and simulation. Since the proposed OO-CACSD is based on the modularity, portability, reuseability, and matrix-oriented data structure, a control system can be not only modeled and simulated but also maintained easily.

유압 트랜스미션의 본드선도 모델링 및 시뮬레이션 (Computer Aided Bondgraphs Modeling and Simulation of Hydrostatic Transmission)

  • To get the time response characteristics of the hydrostatic transmission, seaborne winch is modelde by using bond graphs. After modeling of its basic elements, it is represented as power flow, and the determination of variable causality. The state equations are derived by using CAMP. As dynamic stabilites and solutions are investigated by perturbation method and direct integration, winch system is stable. Simulations are performed under the conditions of low speed, high speed, and maximum tension. The pressure and flow rate of the hydrostatic transmission have a big overshoot. But when it is comparaed to the empirical data with simulation results, it is similar to each other. When a lead compensator is applied to improve response characteristics of the hydrostatic transmission, rise time and overshoot of the system are improved.
