A Study on Oriental Medicine Hybrid Multi-cup Electric Cupping Contents using Vacuum Pressure (진공압을 이용한 한방 하이브리드 멀티 전동 부항 콘텐츠에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, a hybrid multi-cup electric cupping system (HMECS) was proposed, based on the ancient cupping method. HMECS consisted of several cups that could be used simultaneously to treat different areas of the patient's body. Each cup was equipped with its own pump and pressure-monitoring system. Moreover, the vacuum pressure of the cups was controlled using fuzzy logic. Through automated control of the vacuum pressure, long-term relief of muscle tightness was achieved. To develop a scientific foundation for this alternative treatment, we compared the VAS(Visual Analog Scale) and ODI(Oswestry Disability Index) scores from conventional basic cupping to the VAS and ODI scores for our proposed HMECS. The improvement rate in the VAS and ODI scores using HMECS after three treatments was higher than that achieved by basic cupping. These results, combined with the convenience offered by enhanced IT capabilities, should increase the popularity of this device among an aging society, and facilitate the opportunity to further explore the potential of Oriental medical practices.

  • In this paper, we propose a system for controlling the seat of the electric wheelchair depending on the slope of the terrain in real time by using the ATmega smart control based on the board. Smart control board includes a gyro sensor, an acceleration sensor and Tilt sensor, when the electric wheelchairs pass slope of the terrain, they use three sensors to identify terrain configuration in real time. We also applied the Complementary Filter in the gyro sensor and acceleration sensor, so the electric wheelchairs know the exact terrain by solving the interference during the movement. Based on this, the noise power wheelchair due to the movement will be reduced, the seat continues reliably movement without being vibration. In this paper, providing an application on the smart phone platform for the convenience of users who are not familiar with how to use electric wheelchairs, they can easily control wheelchairs. Control platform of the smart phone is able to monitor the electric wheelchair in real-time, with regard to pressure prevention, help the slope of the seat to be arbitrarily controlled.

  • This paper presents a new $4{\times}4$ multi-port amplifier(MPA) structure using reconfigurable switching matrices as input and output hybrid matrices(IHM, OHM), and phase/amplitude error calibration circuits. According to the mode selection of the switches, output power can be flexibly and effectively managed since the number of PA's to be used and the number of output port to distribute/combine amplified signals can be controlled. In addition, the proposed structure contains the phase and amplitude error calibration block that helps produce identical amplitudes and desired phase differences to the $4{\times}4$ OHM, resulting in optimizing the port-to-port isolation of the MPA system.

Especially, in these days, there is a discussion on introduction of Driving Under the Influence car-starting locking device installation for preventing accidents caused by Driving Under the Influence of alcohol, these car-starting locking device installation requires a lot of money and time. Suitable user authentication for solving user's inconvenience during the disabled and men of national merit to receive discount benefits is needed. In this paper, For solving these problems, we propose the efficient vehicle control and user authentication system for preventing driving under the influence and providing the disabled and men of national merit benefit based on driver authentication by using user's smartphone NFC communication and user's biometric information.

  • The purpose of this paper is aimed to derive suggestions for convergence technology for effective management of distance education by analyzing a long-term case. The experiment was designed with notebook, smartphone or tablet based robot controlled by a remote instructor and a learner, who have experience of distance learning including robot assisted learning. The tablet based robot has the display system of feedback to speakers. During five months, three types of experiments were conducted randomly and a participant was interviewed thoroughly. The result, like the previous research, demonstrates that the task performance of the learner in telepresence robot-assisted learning was better than that in the notebook, and smartphone based. However, it is believed to be necessary to adjust the system for eye-contact and voice transmission for the remote instructor. The instructor required an additional sight by supplementing an extra camera and automatic direction control to source of sound.

  • In this paper, we propose a thin-film hydroponic plant cultivator using HMI display and IoT technology. Existing plant cultivators were difficult to manage due to soil-based cultivation, and it was difficult to optimize environmental conditions due to the open cultivation environment. In addition, there are problems with plant cultivation as immediate control is difficult and growth of plants is delayed. To solve this problem, a cultivation environment was established by connecting the MCU and sensors, and the environment information could be checked and quickly controlled by linking with the HMI display. Additionally, a case was applied to minimize changes in environmental information. Implementation of a thin-film hydroponic cultivation system made soil management easier, improved functionality through operation and control, and made it easy to understand environmental information through the display. The effectiveness of rapid growth was confirmed through crop cultivation experiments in existing growers and hydroponic growers. Future research directions will include optimizing growth information by transmitting and storing cultivation environment information and linking and comparing growth information using vision cameras. It is expected that this will enable efficient and stable plant cultivation.

  • Nowadays, For that reason, the tactical training system that were applied to recruit training center and police training, a real-life survivor game place is a drill using conventional training methods that there is no special training system at open terrain and field, there is no training accomplishment in conformity with battlefield situation portrayal. Therefore, this paper developed the tactical training evaluation system and real-time monitoring system that is compensated the defect and controlled sensing, interlock with PC as wireless a way of GUI using PCB mounted MICOM. This system evaluate drill that regulate sensor control module, tactical training system remotely according to what they should do, is installed to fit the occasion as to be reflected or transmission choosingly and is a 24V H/W drive module.

  • The radiation characteristics of a phased array antenna is changed according to the beam steering angle. The monopulse tracking system calculates the prediction angle using the radiation characteristics of antenna. Therefore, the monopulse ratio curve is changed according to the beam steering angle for the monopulse tracking system using a phase array antenna, and the tracking accuracy goes down. In the case of a single-channel monopulse system, the monopulse rate curve is controlled by the configuration variables of the system. In this paper, a simplified formula was presented for adaptive control of monopulse system configuration variables on beam steering angle. The presented formula can induce a uniform monopulse ratio curve for the beam steering angle as well as the phased array antenna design parameters.

  • The multi robot operation technique has emerged as one of the most important research subjects that focus on minimizing redundancy in space exploration and maximizing the efficiency of operation. For an efficient operation of the multi robot systems, the movement of each Single robot in the multi robot systems should be properly observed and controlled. This paper suggests Multi Robot Management System to minimize redundancy in space exploration by assigning exploration space to each robot efficiently to take advantage of the RFID. Also, this paper has suggested fault tolerance technique that detects disable Single robot and substitute it by activated Single robot in order to ensure overall exploration and improve efficiency of exploration. Proposed system overcomes previous fault that it is difficult for central server to detect exact position of robot by using RFID system and Home Robot. Designated Home robot manages each Single robot efficiently and assigns the best suited space to Single robot by using RFID Tag Information. Proposed multi robot management system uses RFID for space assignment, Localization and Mapping efficiently and not only maximizes the efficiency of operation, but also ensures reliability by supporting fault-tolerance, compared with Single robot system. Also, through simulation, this paper proves efficiency of spending time and redundancy rates between multi robot management applied by proposed system and not applied by proposed system.
