  • Fire safety management on any construction site should start with recognizing fire risks in the workplace, understanding the extent of the risks, and proper assessment of the controls necessary to reduce the risks. However, the most important step to prevent fire-related accidents on jobsites is the constant review and monitoring of processes and controls by all individuals involved. This study was conducted to analyze the effectiveness of using computer simulation as an addition to maps or floor plans in safety training and management. Simulex was used on a real project to model various egress routes and to identify potential problem areas of the evacuation strategy. This study highlights the efficacy of simulated emergency evacuation as a training tool that visually shows constantly altering means of egress.

  • This paper investigates the application of multi-agent deep reinforcement learning in the fighting game Samurai Shodown using Proximal Policy Optimization (PPO) and Advantage Actor-Critic (A2C) algorithms. Initially, agents are trained separately for 200,000 timesteps using Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP) with LSTM networks. PPO demonstrates superior performance early on with stable policy updates, while A2C shows better adaptation and higher rewards over extended training periods, culminating in A2C outperforming PPO after 1,000,000 timesteps. These findings highlight PPO's effectiveness for short-term training and A2C's advantages in long-term learning scenarios, emphasizing the importance of algorithm selection based on training duration and task complexity. • This study aimed to develop the teacher training programs to prevent and treat of game addiction. First, we analyzed the existing training programs concerning game addiction and searched for various strategies applicable to game addiction prevention and treatment education programs. On this ground, training programs were divided into three courses that were the prevention program for normal students, the treatment program I for students in the potential-risk group, and the treatment program II for those in the high-risk group. For the prevention program, commonalities were drawn and developed from the existing studies and training programs; and for treatment programs, game addiction clinic centers were analyzed to draw various useful strategies and contents. We also developed the details of those programs in consultation with experts. As a result of content validity about the developed teacher training program to prevent and treat of game addiction, this program was generally appropriate and acceptable. We expect that the developed programs help to treat a student who has game addiction effectively.

  • Police education has shown a pronounced improvement during three eras in American police history. as the Reform Era arrived, the police academy was invented. With it, citizen expectations for the police expanded, and the level of competence exhibited by police grew. After the 1960s came the invention of the FTO and the creation of ongoing, in-service training requirements. in recent years, academics in many places-but by no means everywhere-are taking a more collegial approach to training, aimed especially at COP- style policing and the achievement of genuine professionalism. The Korean police training system is less efficient in education methodology, more inappropriate in the switch system of school education and practice, and poorer in educational environment, among others. Based on my findings, this paper recommends several improvement tips. First, legal stipulations on police training should be integrated and detailed. Second, active participation by preliminary police officers should be emphasized in the class of police training. Third, contents and hours for practice should be emphasized to maximize effects of the "switch system." Fourth, the educational environment of the Academy should be improved.

  • The article reflects short-term perspectives on the use of information and communication technologies in the training of teachers for higher education. Education is characterized by conservatism, so aspects of systematic development of the industry are relevant to this cluster of social activity. Therefore, forecasting the introduction of innovative elements of ICT training is in demand for the educational environment. Forecasting educational trends are most relevant exactly in the issues of training future teachers of higher education because these specialists are actually the first to implement the acquired professional skills in pedagogical activities. The article aims to consider the existing potential of ICT-based learning, its implementation in the coming years, and promising innovative educational elements that may become relevant for the educational space in the future. The tasks of scientific exploration are to show the optimal formats of synergy between traditional and innovative models of learning. Based on already existing experience, extrapolation of conditions of educational process organization with modeling realities of using information and communication technologies in various learning dimensions should be carried out. Educational trends for the next 3 years are a rather tentative forecast because, as demonstrated by the events associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, the socio-cultural space is very changeable. Consequently, the dynamism of the educational environment dictates the need for a value-based awareness of the information society and the practical use of technological advances. Thus, information and communication technologies are a manifestation of innovative educational strategies of today and become an important component along with traditional aspects of educational process organization. Future higher education teachers should develop a training strategy taking into account the expediency of the ICT component.

  • In this paper, we propose the effects of coordinative locomotor training in body alignment of high school baseball players. Coordinative locomotor training was applied to 20 subjects in the experimental group for 30 minutes, 5timess aweek for 4 weeks. Body alignmen was measured using a formertic, and variables representing body alignment included trunk inclination, trunk imbalance, pelvic tilt, pelvic torson, kyphotic angle and lordotic angle. The results of this study were as follows: As for the Body alignment, there were significantly increased in kyphotic angle and lordotic angle in the experimental group. From the above results, it seems that coordinative locomotor training has a positive effects on the body alignment of high school baseball players. The coordinative locomotor training was able to produce confirmation that body alignment change in the case of effective exercise interventions in high school baseball players. Coordinative locomotor training is thought to be effective in preventing physical imbalance in high school baseball.

  • With the spread of various digital devices, devices have become commonplace in modern society. Moreover, due to the increase in device usage and online learning while staying indoors during the COVID-19 pandemic, symptoms such as an increase in myopia in children due to eye fatigue, an increase in young presbyopia, and dry eye syndrome are increasing, and now people are paying attention to eye health. This is different from before. There are various prescriptions for eye health, but in this paper, we would like to propose a training method for enhancing visual function using VR contents. The analog methods of the existing teaching aids for visual function reinforcement training were planned and produced as digital contents, and VR-based training contents were selected from among the various methods carried out with teaching aids at the visual function training center, which can be made into contents. was developed with In the training process for each content, it was proposed to apply eye tracking to the VR device in order to give the user feedback on their participation in the training so that the management and concentration of the training process could be analyzed.

  • In MIMO-OFDM systems, conventional channel estimation techniques using comb type training symbols give relatively large mean squared errors(MSEs) at the edge subcarriers. To reduce the MSEs at these subcarriers, a cyclic comb type training structure is proposed. In the proposed cyclic training structure, all types of training symbols are transmitted cyclically at each antenna. At the receiver, the channel frequency responses that are estimated using each training symbol are averaged with weights obtained from the corresponding MSEs. Computer simulations showed that the proposed cyclic training structure gives more SNR gain than the conventional training structure.
