Research about senior citizen IT start-up education linking the IoT (IoT(사물인터넷)를 연계한 고령층IT창업 교육에 관한 연구)

  • Startup in the aging society is much harder than finding employment. However, we did an experimental research that the elderly are able to develop in the field of IoT via this education. Through this IT startup education, those people who can do develop and implement and they are able to start new business by develop new item. Installing education between hardware and software about Arduino and Scratch's methods have great effect on IT startup education for the elderly before solving problem which have existing programming education. While the IT startup education through IoT is more difficult subject compared to general education subject, this paper shows an easily accessible research outcome for the elderly through startup education. This paper proved that practical uses through the results.

  • 딥러닝으로 만들어진 모델의 내부는 black box와 같은 특성을 가져 동작 규칙을 알기 어렵다. 최근 기계학습의 발전으로 인공지능이 전보다 더 복잡한 문제를 해결할 수 있으나 위와 같은 이유로, 모델이 내린 판단의 근거를 알기 어렵다. 그러므로 딥러닝의 동작 규칙을 사람이 이해할 수 있는 형식으로 나타내려는 노력이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 Attention과 LIME 기법을 활용하여 IMDB 데이터를 감성 분석한 순환신경망의 의사결정 요인을 분석하였다. 각 기법을 활용했을 때의 장단점과 실제 구현에 있어 등장하는 문제에 대해 알아보고자 한다.

  • 국제사회의 평균 연령이 높아짐과 동시에 시니어의 인터넷 이용률이 증가하면서 시니어 세대를 위한 서비스 및 맞춤형 콘텐츠 제공이 필요한 실정이다. 시니어의 경우 신체 및 인지 능력 감소로 글을 읽는 능력이 저하되고, 이로 인해 온라인으로 제공되는 뉴스 콘텐츠를 정확히 이해하지 못하는 현상이 발생한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 뉴스의 형태를 구성하는 요소를 정의하여, 시니어의 인지 반응 측정 데이터를 기반으로 한 개인 맞춤형 뉴스 형태 추천 시스템을 제안한다.

Fuzzy Based Multi-Hop Broadcasting in High-Mobility VANETs

  • Vehicular Ad hoc Network (VANET) is an extension paradigm of moving vehicles to communicate with wireless transmission devices within a certain geographical limit without any fixed infrastructure. The vehicles have most important participation in this model is usually positioned quite dimly within the certain radio range. Fuzzy based multi-hop broadcast protocol is better than conventional message dissemination techniques in high-mobility VANETs, is proposed in this research work. Generally, in a transmission range the existing number of nodes is obstacle for rebroadcasting that can be improved by reducing number of intermediate forwarding points. The proposed protocol stresses on transmission of emergency message projection by utilization subset of surrounding nodes with consideration of three metrics: inter-vehicle distance, node density and signal strength. The proposed protocol is fuzzy MHB. The method assessment is accomplished in OMNeT++, SUMO and MATLAB environment to prove the efficiency of it.

  • To enhance the university-industry collaboration, a novel program named as Internship & Capstone Design Integrated program (ICIP) is developed by Dongguk University. Senior students must take one Capstone design class for graduation. By participating in summer Internship and one-year Capstone Design work, practical problems given by businesses are solved. The ICIP is a Project and Internship-based course. By participating in summer internship and one-year Capstone Design work, practical problems given by businesses are solved. The internship course requires students to work in teams under mentors who work in the partner company proposed project themes. Students apply their academic experiences in constructing real projects at work under the supervision of their site mentors and academic advisor. In this regard, this study attempts to present a case study on the assessment of program outcomes using the Internship.

A New Distributed Log Anomaly Detection Method based on Message Middleware and ATT-GRU

  • Logs play an important role in mastering the health of the system, experienced operation and maintenance engineer can judge which part of the system has a problem by checking the logs. In recent years, many system architectures have changed from single application to distributed application, which leads to a very huge number of logs in the system and manually check the logs to find system errors impractically. To solve the above problems, we propose a method based on Message Middleware and ATT-GRU (Attention Gate Recurrent Unit) to detect the logs anomaly of distributed systems. The works of this paper mainly include two aspects: (1) We design a high-performance distributed logs collection architecture to complete the logs collection of the distributed system. (2)We improve the existing GRU by introducing the attention mechanism to weight the key parts of the logs sequence, which can improve the training efficiency and recognition accuracy of the model to a certain extent. The results of experiments show that our method has better superiority and reliability.

  • In this study, an educational program was developed that allows students who take data science courses in the high school credit system to explore related fields after learning data science education. Accordingly, the existing research and requirements for data science education were analyzed, a learning plan was designed, and an educational program was developed in accordance with a step-by-step educational program. In addition, since there is no research on data science education for the high school credit system in existing studies, the research was conducted in the stages of problem definition, data collection, data preprocessing, data analysis, data visualization, and simulation, and referred to studies on data science education that have been conducted in existing schools. Through this study, it is expected that research on data science education in the high school credit system will become more active.

  • At the present time, the economy continues to flourish, and private cars have become the means of choice for most people. Therefore, the license plate recognition technology has become an indispensable part of intelligent transportation, with research and application value. In recent years, the convolution neural network for image classification is an application of deep learning on image processing. This paper proposes a strategy to improve the YOLO model by studying the deep learning convolutional neural network (CNN) and related target detection methods, and combines the OpenCV and TensorFlow frameworks to achieve efficient recognition of license plate characters. The experimental results show that target detection method based on YOLO is beneficial to shorten the training process and achieve a good level of accuracy.

  • By Digital Transformation, new technologies like ML (Machine Learning), Big Data, Cloud, VR/AR are being used to video streaming technology. We choose ML to provide optimal QoE (Quality of Experience) in various network conditions. In other words, ML helps DASH in providing non-stopping video streaming. In DASH, the source video is segmented into short duration chunks of 2-10 seconds, each of which is encoded at several different bitrate levels and resolutions. We built and compared the performances of five prototypes after applying five different machine learning algorithms to DASH. The prototype consists of a dash.js, a video processing server, web servers, data sets, and five machine learning models.

  • 현재 인터넷의 최대의 관심사는 HTML5의 등장으로 인한 Web Page의 변화이다. 다양한 분야에서 영향을 미칠 것으로 최근 들어 급격히 무선 네트워크 사용률이 증가한 스마트폰에서도 Web Application이 등장하고 있다. 하지만 Web Application은 Native Application보다 소스 보안에 대해 매우 취약하며 본 연구에서는 이에 대한 분석과 보안을 위해 요구되는 HTML5 기능에 대해 언급한다.
