This paper performed a comprehensive evaluation of the results of the 2007 Ground Response Analysis Round Robin Test, at which 14 institutions and individuals participated. The submitted results showed significant discrepancies. The main reason for this difference has been attributed to the dispersion in the estimated shear wave velocity profiles and dynamic soil curves. It is therefore concluded that accurate evaluation of the material properties is of primary importance for reliable estimation of the ground vibration. Evaluation of the effect of the analysis method showed that the equivalent linear analysis overestimates the peak ground acceleration, but overall the results are similar to a total stress nonlinear analysis. However, the total and effective stress nonlinear analyses show distinct discrepancies, the effective stress analyses consistently resulting in a lower response due to the development of the excess pore water pressure and thus softer response.

Purpose: This study was conducted to explore the meaning and contents of high-quality aged care facilities and provide basic data for evaluation of service quality in such facilities. Methods: The focus group interviews and participants consisted of two user groups, for a total of 16 family caregivers of the elderly living in facilities and four service provider groups, for a total of 26 chief managers and caregivers working in aged care facilities. All interviews were recorded and transcribed as they occurred. Content analysis was used and debriefing notes were referred to in order to analyze the data. Results: Four themes of a high-quality aged care facility emerged from the analysis; 1) a place to rest for comfortable later years; 2) systematic value-based management; 3) providing professional care; 4) comprehensive service provision in response to diverse needs. Conclusion: The findings of the study showed the importance of client centered care and ethical mindset of providers, which had not been included in the existing quality evaluation programs. Based on these results, medical treatments, end-of-life care and more comprehensive and extended services including family care need to be provided in facilities to ensure good quality aged care.

The natural environment of the modern society does not simply reflect damage, but is a complex and grave reality that threatens the Earth. To solve this problem, various aspects related to the natural environment have been explored around the world, and a number of studies are ongoing to balance the development and preservation of the natural environment in Korea. However, no clear category exists for the natural environment and the related terms are ambiguous, rendering the overall evaluation system is in efficient. Therefore, the present study attempted to set the scope of application of a comprehensive evaluation system based on terms similar to the natural environment, concepts of the natural environment viewed from a value-based perspective and a capacitive perspective. In addition, by examining the concept of ecosystem services, a conceptual model for efficient application of the evaluation system of the natural environment through the association between categories of the natural environment is presented to derive implications for practical operation in the future.

Purpose: This mixed method study was conducted to analyze the changes in nursing students' practice environment due to comprehensive nursing care services. Methods: For the quantitative study, a checklist and practicum evaluation surveys completed by 85 students were analyzed using SPSS utilizing a Mann-Whitney U test. For the qualitative study, 13 students with experience of practice in comprehensive nursing care service units participated in focus group interviews. The data were analyzed using a content analysis method. Results: From the qualitative findings, four themes and eight sub-themes were identified. The four themes were , , , and . The quantitative findings found that students could observe and perform fewer nursing tasks and the students' satisfaction with practice was lower in the comprehensive nursing care service unit. Conclusion: This study was meaningful in that it analyzed the experiences of nursing students in comprehensive nursing care services.

An AHP-based framework for comprehensive comparison of several power technologies haas been developed. A questionnaire has been designed and is about to surveyed for extracting boty weight vectors and subjective evaluation values. The attitude of evaluator groups will be incorporated into these two types of quantification.

사인시스템은 현재 관광지구에서 가장 널리 사용하는 안내매체 중 하나이며, 그것의 역할은 관광지의 자원과 문화적 가치를 소개하고, 관광객들의 관광 체험을 더 잘 할 수 있도록 도와주는 것이다. 이에 본 연구는 관광객에게 있어서 태산 관광지구 사인시스템의 영향 요인을 도출하고, 만족도를 분석하여 향후 관광객의 만족도를 높이기 위한 태산등산로 사인시스템을 제언하는 것이 목적이다. 연구방법은 선행연구에서 파악된 사인시스템의 평가항목을 도출하고, 통합 세분화하여 태산등산로 사인시스템의 평가항목을 선정하였으며, 설문조사와 요인분석을 실시하여 영향요인을 도출했다. 그리고 관광객의 만족도를 알아보기 위해 퍼지 종합 평가(Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation)를 실시했다. 본 논문의 결과를 요약하면, 첫째, 태산등산로 사인시스템의 4가지 영향요인으로 해설내용, 외관조형, 해설방식, 배치관리를 도출하였다. 둘째, 영향요인의 높은 가중치 순서는 해설내용, 외관조형, 해설방식, 배치관리 순으로 나타났으며, 중요도에서 실용성과 미관을 더 중시한다는 점을 유도해 낼 수 있었다. 셋째, 사인시스템 만족도는 해설내용, 외관조형, 배치관리요인의 등급은 '좋음' 이며, 해설방식요인의 등급은 '보통'으로 나타났다. 이는 태산등산로 자연 경치와 문화 가치에 대한 관광객의 이해를 심화시키지 못한 것으로 생각된다. 이런 결과는 향후 사인시스템을 재정비할 때 계획 및 설계에 필요한 이론적 근거를 제공하여 관광체험의 전반적인 만족도를 높이고자 하는데 의의가 있다.

목적 : 본 연구는 연하장애 환자를 대상으로 구강안면기능을 평가할 수 있는 포괄적 구강안면기능척도(Comprehensive Oro-Facial Function Scale; COFFS)를 개발하고자 실시되었다. 연구방법 : COFFS의 문항 구성과 신뢰도를 검증하는 연구로 4개의 선행 연구를 선택 분석하여 예비문항을 수집하였고, 전문가를 대상으로 2차의 설문조사를 통해 내용타당도(Content Validity Ratio; CVR)를 도출하였다. 평가 항목의 내적 타당도를 위해 Cronbach's 𝛼값을 산출하였으며, 급간 내 상관계수(Internal Classification Coefficients; ICC)를 이용하여 검사-재검사 신뢰도 및 검사자간 신뢰도를 구하였다. 결과 : 전체 문항의 내용타당도는 0.67로 나타났으며, 영역별 Cronbach's 𝛼값의 경우 의사소통 영역 0.849, 구강안면 구조 및 형태 -0.224, 구강안면 움직임 수행능력 0.831, 저작 및 삼킴 기능은 0.946으로 도출되었으며, 검사-재검사 신뢰도는 0.974, 검사자간 신뢰도는 0.937로 높은 신뢰도를 보였다. 결론 : 본 연구에서 COFFS의 평가도구는 4개의 영역에서 34개의 문항을 최종적으로 선정하였고, 평가항목에 따라 3~5점 척도로 개발되었다. 추후 연구에서는 구강안면기능을 측정하는 다른 평가도구와의 상관관계를 통해 타당도를 입증할 추가연구가 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

Nowadays worldwide leading companies try to establish more efficient and comprehensive management system for getting high quality, reliability and safety. In this paper, we investigate standards for quality management, dependability management and risk management. We also suggest an integrated and comprehensive system of quality(ISO/TS16949), dependability (IEC60300)and risk(JIS Q2001). The evaluation method on the performance of dependability management systems are developed and applied for the semiconductor equipment company.

Objective: The present study developed a comprehensive usability testing and analysis framework based on a physical interface model of product and user and applied the proposed framework to usability testing of canister-type vacuum cleaner. Background: The development of a user-centered product design is important to satisfy customers who want to use the product with ease of use and to keep the manufacturer competitive in the market. Method: The proposed testing and analysis framework consists of (1) characterization of physical product-user interface, (2) preparation and administration of usability testing questionnaire, and (3) analysis and interpretation of usability testing results. A usability evaluation of five vacuum cleaners was planned and administered based on the proposed framework and its analysis produced detailed and overall usability testing results for various aspects such as tasks, usability criteria, and design components. Results: The testing results were further utilized to identify usability problems and preferred design features of the vacuum cleaners. Conclusion: The proposed usability testing and analysis framework was found effective to identify preferred features and problems of a product design in a systematic, holistic manner. Application: The proposed framework can be of effective use for practitioners of product design and development to obtain comprehensive, quantitative usability testing information in a systematic manner.
