  • This study was to investigate the conversion intent of fashion store among college undergraduates. The conversion intent in internet shopping mall and local store was associated with store attributes and relationship quality. A random sample of undergraduate students completed a questionnaire that contained measure of Store attributes, Relationship quality, Conversion intent of fashion store. The results revealed that store attributes of local store were store comport/salesman service, product diversity, store location, price and the store attributes of internet shopping mall were product diversity/easy of navigation, store reliability, screen configuration, sales promotion. Also, the result founded that the conversion intent of fashion store is related to store comport/salesman service in local store and is related to product diversity/easy of navigation, screen configuration, promotion in internet shopping mall. Relationship quality is highly effected of the conversion intent of local store and internet shopping mall. We expect that this research results can be used as a basic material for another study and setting up the marketing strategies in fashion store.

Distribution of Air Tickets through Online Platform Recommendation Algorithms

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to collect and analyze a large amount of data from online ticket distribution platforms that offer multiple airlines and different routes so that they can improve their ticket distribution marketing strategies and provide services that are more suitable for consumer's needs. The results of this study will help airlines improve the quality of their online platform services to provide more benefits and convenience by providing access to multiple airlines and routes around the world on one platform. Research design, data and methodology: For the study, 200 people completed the survey between May 1 and June 15, 2024, of which 191 copies were used in the study. Results: The hypothesis testing results of this study showed that among the components of the recommendation algorithm, decision comport, novelty, and evoked interest recurrence had a positive effect on perceived recommendation quality, but curiosity did not have a positive effect on recommendation quality. The perceived recommendation quality of the online platform positively influenced recommendation satisfaction, and the higher the perceived recommendation quality, the higher the intention to continue the relationship. Finally, higher recommendation satisfaction was associated with higher relationship continuation intention. Conclusion: it's important to continue researching online ticketing platforms. Online platforms will also need to be systems that use technology and data analytics to provide a better user experience and more benefits.

  • In this paper, the process of development of resilient sleepers, which improves the train safety, passenger comport and reduces the noise and vibration, is discussed. To determine the required material properties of elastic pad, static and dynamic simulations are performed and is applied in manufacturing. From the experiment results, it is investigated that the displacement is less for sleeper with elastic pad than that in ordinary PC form. The rate of displacement is also shown In be less for the sleeper with elastic pad. These results indicate that the elastic pad can reduce possibility of rail-corrugations and thus resulting in the reduction of maintenance costs.

  • In this study, a process management system is designed that can automatically control the heat treating atmosphere, and a managment software is developed to monitor and control continously the heat treating process using a n interface device. Especially, a communication protocol is developed to control and monitor atmosphere condition, temperature, surrounding gas, and time. The developed interface device, called COMPORT SELECTOR is to send and receive information from PID controllers and PLC via RS-232C communication. This system will reduce manufacturing cost and cycle time, and improve the effectiveness of working process and quality.

준고속 도시철도의 진동분석 및 저감대책 (Vibration Analysis and Mitigable Countermeasures of Semi High-speed Subway Electric Trains)

  • Subway electric trains need to be faster for accommodation of long distance passengers. The faster run of the existing trains results in deterioration of ride quality due to noise and vibration. To reduce the noise and vibration of the electric train, a running test of the electric train was performed and an ADAMS/Rail model was set up to verify the running test results. The experimental results show that the sources of the cabin noise and vibration basically comes from the irregularity of the railroad track and the deterioration of the connection part between cabin and bogie. Consequently for mitigation of noise and vibration of the electric train, the redesign of the center pivot with softer stiffness and the minimization of rail irregularity are necessary. the frequent maintenance of the train will lead to better comport.

  • The customers demand of a good vehicle agility consists of a quick reaction of the vehicle with the actuation of the throttle pedal on one hand and a high comfort level of vibration and noise within the vehicle on the other hand, which means the reduction of disturbing side effects. In order to achieve a satisfactory compromise it is necessary to gain a deeper understanding of the complex, high dynamic vibrations system "vehicle / drive train". For several years the ika has been carrying out such detailed vehicle investigations and test bench measurements in addition to comprehensive CAE analysis for various research projects in partnership with different vehicle manufacturers.

  • Thermal comfort inside a passenger car has been receiving large attention in automobile industries. Especially, the performance of windshield defroster is important in the design of a car to ensure passenger comport and safety. Thereby, better understanding on the ventilation flow along the vehicle windshield is essential to evaluate the performance of windshield defroster. However, most previous studies dealt with the defrost flow using CFD (computational fluid dynamics) calculations or scale-down model experiments. In this study, a real commercial automobile was used to investigate the flow discharged from the vehicle defroster and the ventilation flow along the windshield using a PIV velocity field measurement technique. The experimental data would be useful to understand the flow characteristics in detail and also can be used to validate numerical predictions.

Measurement of Dynamic Contact Angle of Yarn for Evaluation of Fabric Comfort Performance

  • Testing device was newly designed and built to measure the dynamic contact angle. The measurement was made using microscope interfaced with computerized image analysis system while the dynamic condition being controled using Instron. As specimens for the experiment, two different types of fibers, i.e., hydrophilic and hydrophobic, were prepared. In case of hydrophilic fiber, the increase of twist level gave the increase of contact angle. However, in hydrophobic yarn the increase of twist level gave the decrease of contact angle. When saline was used as a telling liquid, the increase of the concentration gave the increase of contact angle. The results rationalized clearly on the basis of known concepts could be used in designing fabric structure for the improvement of comport performance.
