  • This paper proposes a novel broadcast scheduling algorithm for wireless large-scale networks based on theory of complex networks. In the proposed algorithm, the network topology is formed based on a scale-free network and the probability of link distribution is analyzed. In this paper, the characteristics of complex systems are analyzed (which are not concerned by the existing broadcast scheduling algorithm techniques) and the optimization of network transmission efficiency and network time delay are provided.

  • Nonlinear network creates complex homotopy structural communication in wireless network medium because of complex distribution approach. Due to this multicast topological connection structure, the queuing probability was non regular principles to create routing structures. To resolve this problem, we propose a Co-cluster homotopy queuing model (Co-CHQT) for Nonlinear Algebraic Topological Structure (NLTS-) for improving poison distribution network communication. Initially this collects the routing propagation based on Nonlinear Distance Theory (NLDT) to estimate the nearest neighbor network nodes undernon linear at x(a,b)→ax2+bx2 = c. Then Quillen Network Decomposition Theorem (QNDT) was applied to sustain the non-regular routing propagation to create cluster path. Each cluster be form with co variance structure based on Two unicast 2(n+1)-Z2(n+1)-Z network. Based on the poison distribution theory X(a,b) ≠ µ(C), at number of distribution routing strategies weights are estimated based on node response rate. Deriving shorte;'l/st path from behavioral of the node response, Hilbert -Krylov subspace clustering estimates the Cluster Head (CH) to the routing head. This solves the approximation routing strategy from the nonlinear communication depending on Max- equivalence theory (Max-T). This proposed system improves communication to construction topological cluster based on optimized level to produce better performance in distance theory, throughput latency in non-variation delay tolerant.

  • In this paper, we propose a novel analysis and design methodology based on complex network theory for wireless large-scale ad hoc networks. We also enhance the conventional analysis methods which does not sufficiently consider the effect of the wireless communication channels and extend the existing random graph theory by reflecting the wireless communication environments. As a main result, the effect of the network topology such as average degree of each communication node on the network capacity through extensive computer simulations.

  • This paper considers synchronization problem of a complex dynamical network. For the problem, the virtual target node is chosen as one of nodes in the complex network and only one connection is needed between an isolate target node and virtual target node not any more connections. Moreover, our synchronization scheme does not need additional conditions and information of coupling matrix comparing with existing works. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, a design criterion for a novel adaptive feedback controller for the synchronization between the isolate target node and another nodes of the complex network is proposed. Finally, the proposed method is applied to a numerical example in order to show the effectiveness of our results.

  • The network theory studies interconnection between discrete objects to find about the behavior of a collection of objects. Also, nanomaterials are a collection of discrete atoms interconnected together to perform a specific task of mechanical or/and electrical type. Therefore, it is reasonable to use the network theory in the study of behavior of super-molecule in sport nano-scale. In the current study, we aim to examine vibrational behavior of spherical nanostructured composite with different geometrical and materials properties. In this regard, a specific shear deformation displacement theory, classical elasticity theory and analytical solution to find the natural frequency of the spherical nano-composite sport structure equipment. The analytical results are validated by comparison to finite element (FE). Further, a detail comprehensive results of frequency variations are presented in terms of different parameters. It is revealed that the current methodology provides accurate results in comparison to FE results. On the other hand, different geometrical and weight fraction have influential role in determining frequency of the structure.

  • This study addresses manufacturers' ability to influence their supply chain network in order to adapt to their competitive environment. From the perspective of a manufacture, the supply chain comprises a network of suppliers and customers, and is theoretically viewed as a complex adaptive system. This study considers the following questions: (1) How can adaptability of supply chain network be operationally defined? (2) How does adaptability of supply chain network lead to combinative capabilities? (3) What is the influence of adaptability of supply chain network on business performance? Drawing on literature streams in supply chain management, operations strategy, organizational change and learning, and complexity theory, this study develops and tests the constructs and operational measures of adaptability of supply chain network and model the nomological set of relationships among constructs that form the basis of our theory. This study then develops and tests a model describing the outcomes of adaptability of supply chain network and its influence on combinative capability and business performance. Empirical results of this study show that adaptability supply chain network directly and positively affects combinative capability. Further, this study finds that adaptability of supply chain network does not impact business performance directly, but rather is mediated through combinative capability, which provides the requisite variety for firms to survive and thrive in dynamic environments.

  • A power grid is one of the most complex networks and is critical infrastructure for society. To understand the characteristics of a power grid, complex network analysis has been used from the early 2000s mainly for US and European power grids. However, since the power grids of different countries might have different structures, the Korean power grid needs to be examined through complex network analysis. This paper performs the analysis for the Korean power grid, especially for high-voltage transmission networks. In addition, statistical and small-world characteristics for the Korean power grid are analyzed. Generally, the Korean power grid has similar characteristics to other power grids, but some characteristics differ because the Korean power grid is concentrated in the capital area.

  • Modern risk management philosophy emphasizes the invulnerability of human beings to cope with all kinds of emergencies. The Nuclear Accidents Emergency Response Organization (NAERO) of Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) is the primary body responsible for nuclear accidents emergency response. The invulnerability of the organization to disturbance or attack from internal and external sources is crucial in the completion of its response missions, reduction of severity of accidents, and assurance of public and environmental safety. This paper focused on the NAERO of a certain NPP in China, and applied the complex network theory to construct the network model of the organization. The topological characteristics of the network were analyzed. Four importance evaluation indexes of network nodes including Degree Centrality (DC), Betweeness Centrality (BC), Closeness Centrality (CC) and Eigenvector Centrality (EC), along with Pearson coefficient correlation among the indexes were calculated and analyzed. Size of the Largest Connected Component (LCC) and Network Efficiency were used as measures regarding the invulnerability of the network. Simulation experiments were conducted to assess the invulnerability of network against various attack strategies. These experiments were conducted both in the absence of node protection measures and under protection measures with different node protection rates. This study evaluated the invulnerability of the NAERO network, and provided significant decision-making basis for the enhancement of the network's invulnerability.

  • The scientific understanding of Korean medicine theory remains largely unknown, since there is a lack of proper methods to investigate its complex and unique characteristics. Here, we introduce a drug-centered approach, a novel method to investigate Korean medicine theory by analyzing the mechanisms of herbal medicines. This method can be effectively conducted by employing network pharmacology that can analyze the systems-level mechanisms of herbal medicines on a large scale. Firstly, we introduce the method of network pharmacology that are applied to analyze the mechanisms of herbal medicines in a step-by-step manner. Then, we show how the drug-centered approach employing network pharmacology can be applied to investigate Korean medicine theory by describing studies that identify the biological correlates of the cold-hot nature of herbs, spleen qi deficiency syndrome, or Sasang constitution. Finally, we discuss the limitations and future directions of the proposed approach in two aspects: The methods of network pharmacology for a drug-centered approach and the process of inferring Korean medicine theory through it. We believe that a drug-centered approach employing network pharmacology will provide an advanced scientific understanding of Korean medicine theory and contribute to its development by generating biologically plausible hypothesis.
