  • 광 주입 잠금 반도체 레이저의 주입 매개 변수를 조절하여 광학적 복소 신호를 생성 할 수 있다. 그러므로 정확한 주입 매개 변수의 결정은 광학적 복소 신호 생성 기술에서의 핵심 요소이다. 기존의 주입 매개 변수의 추출 이론은 광 주입 잠금 반도체 레이저의 비율 방정식을 사용하며, 이는 locking map 기반의 보간법을 사용하기 때문에 정확한 주입 매개 변수의 추출에 한계가 있다. 이를 해결하기 위하여 비율 방정식의 새로운 해석법을 제안한다. 제안된 해석법은 비율 방정식을 광학적 복소 신호의 생성에 맞게 수정하여 주입 매개 변수를 직접적으로 도출하는 방법이며, 이를 통하여 보간법을 통한 복소 신호 생성 대비 103 배의 오차 감소를 달성하였다.

  • This paper is study on simultaneous reduction of NOx and soot for direct injection diesel engine using high and low cetane fuels. The stratified injection system was applied for diesel engine to use high and low cetane fuel. In this study, diesel fuel was used as high cetane fuels, methanol was used as low cetane fuels. Some parts of the injection system, ie. Nozzle holder. delivery vale, was remodeled to inject dual fuel sequentially from one injector. The leak injection quantity ratio of dual fuel was certificated by volumetric ratio at injection quantity experiment. According as concentration of low cetane fuel was varied, combustion experiment was performed using Toroidal and Complex chamber. Also, exhaust gas and fuel consumption were measured at the same time. Simultaneous reduction of NOx and soot was achieved at complex chamber regardless of concentration of low cetane fuel. However, according as concentration of low cetane fuel was increased, THC and CO was increased.

  • Plastic mold designers and frequently faced with optimizing multi-quality issues in injection molded parts. These issues are usually in conflict with each other and thus tradeoff needs to be made to reach a final compromised solution. in this study an automated injection molding design methodology has been developed to optimize multi-quality characteristics of injection molded parts. The features of the proposed methodology are as follows : first utility theory is applied to transform the original multi-objective problem into single-objective problem. Second is an implementation of a direct search-based injection molding optimization procedure with automated consideration of robustness against process variation. The modified complex method is used as a general optimization tool in this study. The developed methodology was applied to an actual mold design and the results showed that the methodology was useful through the CAE simulation using a commercial injection molding software package. Applied to production this study will be of immense value to companies in reducing the product development time and enhancing the product quality.

  • We investigate the influence of the New Electron Injection Layers (EIL) on the performance of the Alkali Metal Complex vapor-deposited Organic Light Emitting Diodes(OLED). Two different Alkali Metal Complex were used; Lithium Quinolate (Liq), and Sodium Quinolate (Naq). In all cases, $Alq_3$ was the Electron Transporting Layer (ETL). We measure and compare the current density-voltage (J-V) and luminance-voltage (L-V) characteristics. We concluded that the turn-on voltage, and luminance efficiency are controlled by the type of EIL material used. We show the longer life-time OLED with Alkali Metal Complex EIL than OLED with LiF EIL. And we show the Optimized Alkali Metal Complex thickness is 3nm. Existent LiF to because is inorganic material, there is trouble to do epitaxy into thin layers but regulates the thickness in case of Alkali Metal Complex matter characteristic that is easy be. Alkali Metal Complex also appeared by sensitive thing in thickness than LiF If utilize this material, It is thought much advantages may be at common use of OLED.

Improved Electron Injection on Organic Light-emitting Diodes with an Organic Electron Injection Layer

  • To overcome of poor electron injection in organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) with Al cathode, a thin layer of inorganic insulating materials, like as LiF, is inserted between an Al cathode and an organic electron transport layer. Though the device, mentioned above, improves both turn on voltage and luminescent properties, it has some problems like as thickness restriction, less than 2 nm, and difficulty of deposition control. On the other hand, Li organic complex, Liq, is less thickness restrictive and easy to deposit and it also enhances the performance of devices. This paper reports the improved electron injection on OLEDs with another I A group metal complex, Potassium quinolate (Kq), as an electron injection material. OLEDs with organic complexes showed improved turn-on voltage and luminous efficiency which are remarkably improved compared to OLEDs with Al cathode. Especially, OLEDs with Kq have longer life time than OLEDs with Liq.

  • Powder injection molding(PIM) is widely used for many parts in the field of automotives, electronics and medical industries, due to the capability of net shaping for complex 3-D geometry. Powder injection mold design for the dental scaler tip, a component of medical appliance, was presented. In comparison with conventional machining process, powder injection molding has many advantages, specially in price and dimensional stability, for molding dental scaler tip which has complex geometry. Both product design and mold design for dental scaler tip were presented. A PIM feedstock was made of stainless series(17-4PH, 316L, 440C) powder and a wax based binder. The 'rapid mold' concept was applied to manufacture the various forms and materials of dental scaler tip including vibration characteristics.

  • The objective of this research is to develop a robust design methodology for plastic injection molded parts wherein warpage will be minimized by a complex method which is a kind of a simple direct search method. The design space considered for optimization is divided Into two sub-design space : mold and process conditions. Warpage is quantified using the Moldflow injection molding simulation software. The design methodology was applied to an actual part of a fax machine, the Guide-ASF model, through two different design policies. The significance of this study is the synthesis of a computer simulation of injection molding process and optimization technique to determine the optimal robust design solution.

  • An automated injection molding design methodology has been developed to optimize multiple quality attributes, which are usually in conflict with each other, in injection molded parts. For the optimization, commercial CAE simulation tools and optimization techniques are integrated into the methodology. To decal with the multiple objective problem the relative closeness computed in TOPSIS(Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) is used as a performance measurement index for optimization multiple part defects. To attain robustness against process variation, Taguchi's quadratic loss function is introduced in the TOPSIS. Also, the modified complex method is used as an optimization tool to optimize objective function. The verification of the developed design methodology was carried out on simulation software with an actual model. Applied to production this methodology will be useful to companies in reducing their product development time and enhancing their product quality.

  • An optimal robust design methodology has been developed to minimize warpage in injection-molded pats. The response surface methodology was applied to obtain a functional relationship between design variables and warpage value, and the modified complex method was used as an optimization tool to search for an optimal design solution over prescribed design region. To attain robustness against process variations, Taguchi's SN ratio was introduced as the design metric. The proposed optimal design procedure was applied to an actual part, the Guide-ASF model of a fax machine, and the usefulness of the methodology was shown through the CAE simulation using a commercial injection molding software package.
