Abdominal epilepsy is an uncommon disorder and a rare cause of recurrent abdominal pain of children. Diagnostic criteria of this disorder include otherwise unexplained, paroxysmal gastrointestinal complaints, symptoms of a central nerve system disturbance, an abnormal electroencephalogram with a finding specific for a seizure disorder, and improvement with anticonvulsant medication. We present a case of a 6-year-old boy with abdominal epilepsy presenting with recurrent, paroxysmal abdominal pain for 4 years. This patient had definite electroencephalogram abnormalities and a striking response to administration of an anticonvulsant.

Extracts of Black cohosh (Cimicifugae rhizoma) have been used for the treatment of climacteric complaints for decades. A significant number of woman entering menopause exhibit the following symptoms: getting hot flushes, night sweats, irritability, depression, and anxiety, A reduction of the frequency of hot flushes equivalents and hints on the antidepressant activity of Cimcifuga extracts. In the present work, we have screened several 80% ethanol extracts from medicinal plants and found that the extracts from Cimicifugae Rhizoma(Black cohosh:승마) have inhibitory effect on catecholamine secretion in bovine chromaffin cell. Since this extract inhibited 1,1-dimethyl-4-phenylpiperazinium iodide (DMPP)-induced catecholamine secretion, but did not inhibit KCl, bradykinin, and veratridine-evoked case, this inhibitory effect is mediated by nicotinic acetylcholine receptors with noncompetitive manner.

Using Video Display Terminals(VDT) in the working environment often causes health complaints in the neck and shoulder region. This study was conducted on ten subjects, in order to investigate the change of electromyographic activities in the neck region(sternocleidomastoid muscle, upper trapezius muscle and erector muscle of cervical spine)with regards to the screen height and document holder position. A total of six different conditions of screen height and document holder position were measured during subjects performed a text-entry task for a duration of 10min. The raw EMG signal was transmuted into the root mean square(RMS). Two-way ANOVA for repeated measures was used to analyse the effects of the two factors. As a result, changing the screen height and document holder position has no effect on electromyographic activities in the neck region.

Floor impact sound has caused many acoustical complaints to the apartment building dwellers. The concrete floating floor construction is one of the most reasonable way to reduce floor impact sound. Recently, many damping materials are used in apartment buildings. In this study, to evaluate floor impact sound insulation performance, field tests were carried at five building floors with damping materials. The test results of impact sound insulation performance for five buildings showed good improvement in light weight impact sound after installation of damping materials, but heavy weight impact sound wasn't improved.

Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS), a complex genetic disorder, arises from suppressed expression of paternally inherited imprinted genes on chromosome 15q11-q13. Characteristics include short stature, intellectual disability, behavioral problems, hypogonadism, obesity, and reduced bone and muscle. The life expectancy of persons with PWS has increased in recent years. Cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, dermatological, and orthopedic problems are common physical complaints in older people with PWS. Behavioral problems are major concerns in adults with PWS into old age. And aging is also associated with significant social and economic changes. Age-related physical morbidity, physical appearance, behavioral and psychiatric problems, functional decline and economic problems can be combined in older PWS. The care for older people with PWS requires a life span approach that recognizes the presence, progression, and consequences of specific morbidity.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the fit of ready-to-wear garment for girls at the age of puberty and to find out the respective differences by age and locality. For this study, a questionnaire survey was conducted to 547 girls in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. As a whole. the largest parts of complaints for unfitness were height, waist circumference and, next hip circumference. According to the result of comparing the fit of ready-to-wear garment by items, the fit of clothing for girls at the age of puberty gets relatively worse with the increase of age in all items except one-piece. As for the fit by parts of ready-to-wear garment, significant differences were observed according to age in the length of sleeve, crotch and the length of upper garments. That is, girls at the age of 10${\sim}$11 were found to think that their clothes are long in the three measures.

1. Objective: This study is about a Soyangin patient with vertigo after subarachnoid hemorrhage. In this study, we report the effects of Sasang constitutional treatment to this patient. 2. Methods: This patient was treated by Soyangin's constitutional medications and acupunture according to the result of Sasang constitutional diagnosis. 3. Results and Conclusions: This patient's chief complaints were vertigo and gait disturbance. By using Yangkyuksanhwa-tang mainly, she showed positive response about her symptom. This study shows that Yangkyuksanhwa-tang has effect to vertigo in Soyangin.

The aim of this study is to develop an ergonomic design of magic saw handle considering user experiences. Background: Frequent use of hand tool can cause musculoskeletal disorders by inadequate wrist posture, excessive strength, repetitiveness, friction and pressure, vibration, etc. A hand tool that is inappropriately designed has higher risk causing musculoskeletal disorders. Complaints for the design of magic saw handle has been raised by many users according to the increasing use of magic saw. Method: Hand tool has to be designed considering worker's characteristics and task condition to prevent worker's musculoskeletal disorders. For this, user experiences for magic saw handle were measured through questionnaire survey and observation. Results: An ergonomic design of magic saw handle considering user experiences was proposed and then its design suitability was evaluated in comparison with the existing handle design using EMG and subjective evaluation. Conclusion: The proposed handle design showed higher satisfaction and lower muscular fatigue. Application: The results of this study can be effectively used to develop a new magic saw.

According to 'Metropolitan Traffic Network Plan' announced in 2001, radial railways which connect Seoul with satellite cities around Seoul appear gradually. And followed by this, social demand for circular metropolitan railways that can connect the radial railways horizontally is increasing. But existing plans about circular metropolitan railways has limits to propose only passing cities of the railways. If there is no detailed guideline for circular metropolitan railways, the each railway for circular line will be constructed individually and then it will be not effective circular railways totally. Additionally that railway project will be easily interrupted by popular complaints. Therefore "The basic plan for circular metropolitan railways" is needful to guide a right direction for circular metropolitan railways. In this paper, rough track diagram of 'node' station for circular metropolitan railways is proposed. It is essential part of the basic plan. If the track diagram of a node is publicized in advance and individually lines of circular metropolitan railways is enforced to followed it, all lines will has rich circular functionality. Finally, effective circular metropolitan railways can be built.

Survey shows that temperature accounts for 90.6% of dissatisfaction in general hospital environment. In order to improve this situation, operation and thermal data of S hospital collected in 2006 are analyzed. The objective of this study is to find optimum fiducial temperature that minimizes occupants' complaints using 6 sigma method.
