Draft is defined as an unwanted local cooling of the human body caused by air movement. It is a serious problem in many ventilated or air conditioned buildings. Often draft complaints occur although measured velocities in the occupied zone maybe lower than prescribed in existing standards. Purpose of this study is to clarify the evaluation of thermal comfort based on temperature and air velocity in winter. Experiments were performed in an environmental chamber in winter. Indoor temperature and air velocity was artificially controlled. The experiments were performed to evaluate temperature conditions and air velocity conditions by physiological and psychological responses of human. According to physiological responses and psychological responses, it was clear that the optimum air velocity is about 0.15 m/s and 0.30 m/s.

Disorders of intitating and maintaining sleep(DIMS : insomnia) may be a symptom of some other disease or the basic, root problem in some patients. DIMS is usually treated by private physicians or psychiatrists, initially. Many physicians can do to improve the quality of life of the sleep disordered patients by appropriate evaluation and management For the effective management of DIMS patients, the accurate differential diagnosis is essential. In polysomnographic evaluation for insomnia, the physician should consider the aspects of cost-effectiveness to provide the maximal benefits for the patients. For the purpose of this, evaluation of DIMS complaints outside the sleep disorder clinic, indication for referral to a sleep disorder clinic, the role of polysomnopraphy in evaluating DIMS, and polysomnographic findings of different types of DIMS are discussed, together with possible way to diagnose them.

A pulmonary actinomycosis is a chronic suppurative disease which leads to abscess formation and fibrosis it was caused by aspiration of contaminated material from to mouth or oropharynx. Recently pulmonary actinomycosis is very rare by widespread use of antibiotics. Clinically, patients with pulmonary actinomycosis initially experience nonproductive coughing and low grade fever, but pulmonary complaints can be minimal. We report a case of pulmonary actinomycosis associated with hemoptysis which was confirmed by lobectomy with a review of literature.

We investigated dissatisfaction of elements of local exhaust system, needs for local exhaust system, and information networks for local exhaust system from June 1998 to September 1999 using the questionnaire structured. It contained questions concerning general characteristics of factory and local exhaust system, troubles and dissatisfaction of elements of local exhaust system, and information networks for local exhaust system. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics analysis. Information networks for local exhaust system were analyzed by multidimensional scaling using path distance of network analysis and by graph analysis using Krackplot. Among complaints of local exhaust system, that of duct has show the highest percentage of complaint. In the information network for local exhaust system, Seoul is positioned in the center of network with mediating role.

Topiramate (TPM) is a new antiepileptic drug characterized by a clinical effective reduction in seizure frequency and it represents a useful drug effective in a wide range of epileptic patients. Known side effects are represented by weight loss, hypohidrosis, anorexia, sedation, nephrolithiasis, cognitive complaints and language disorders. This study is to examine acoustic characteristics of patients with TPM. 15 patients were assessed through a Computerized Speech Lab (CSL) applied before the beginning of therapy with TPM and 3 months after medication had been stabilized. Tests had been chosen to assess voice onset time (VOT), total duration (TD), vowel formants, loudness, pitch, speaking rate, and articulation patterns. We compared the data from patients and healthy volunteers. The statistical analysis of the results did not show changes in acoustic tests, except for TD which was increased. The increase of the TD is evaluated as a deterioration of fluency. Our results suggest that patients with TPM did not experience acoustic speech changes except that fluency was declined. Unlike previous studies, the medication of TPM has nothing to do with speech problems in patients with epilepsy.

In Korea, the rental apartments for low-income bracket have greatly been built and are being built now. But their management system is quite unstable and the residents' participation in the management is excluded throughly from the beginning. As a result, there are increasing complaints about their low quality of management as well as a self-righteous managerial behavior by the housing company. Therefore, it is required to be managed by residents in the rental apartmenr and especially the organization of management, such as decision making-executing-audition body, should be operated by the residents. To achieve this purpose, the management law should be consolidated into one and the method o imposing the expenses of repairing and maintenance should be improved by The Ministry of Construction and Transportation.

Dental care is becoming more available on the NHI(National Health Insurance) in Korea. Especially, complete denture, partial denture, dental scaling, and dental implant has been applied by NHI from 2012 to 2014. Although, the entire nation is not eligible for the benefit now, the more dental coverage of NHI is extended, the more regulaition is tightened. Essential documents for proof of correctness of dental treatment covered by NHI are dental records and the receipt book. Summary of regal regulation about them is as follows 1. Chief complaints of patients, diagnosis, progress, and act of treatment, drugs and materials of treatment, doctor's sign, date and hour should be placed accurately on dental record 2. Dental clinic should collect patients sharing of the dental cost covered by NHI. 3. Dental clinic should keep the receipt as proof of purchase of dental drugs or materials.

This paper is aimed at comparing the attitudes of parents and the psycho-sociogenic aspects of the children of Korean and Japan. The data for the analysis were derived from questionnaires administered to the 4th, 5th, and 6th-grade children in Korean and Japan. The questionnaires were designed to survey children's perception of their parents'child-rearing and the psycho-sociogenic aspects of the children's personality in Korea and Japan. The child-parent relationships identified by the children were measured by the items indicating the degree and the extent to which they felt their parents' dissatisfaction, complaints, strictness, expectation, interference, worry, indulgence, blind obedience, contradiction and disagreement. The psycho-sociogenic aspects of the children's personalities were measured by the items indicating the degree and extent of how they felt about their own sociablility, independence, aggressiveness, extent of how they felt about their own sociability, independencem aggressiveness, participation in groups. Spontaneity, self-control and public spirit.

Constipation is a common symptom, but stroke patients are especially susceptible to constipation due to colon ineutia as a result of prolonged bed rest. In these two cases, patients diagnosed as Gieumliangheu had bowel complaints and defecated a small quantity of loose form. Therefore the patients were treated with Boemyikgijeon. Patients showed improvement in this symptom, so Boemyikgijeon is cited for the better treatment.

Noise generated from Construction site has been raised most civil complaints to 64.4 % among the environmental pollution in 2011. Therefore, local government recommends and prescribes that construction sites over a certain scale install sound level meter for noise monitoring. For example, Seoul has implemented a 24 hour noise monitoring system, with real time communication, to the large construction sites more than 10,000 $m^2$ from the end of August 2012. But it is difficult to use noise measurement data for the construction noise assessment, since the installation standards and technical specifications for construction noise monitoring system are not presented. In this paper, we proposed noise monitoring system improvement plan including technical specifications and installation standards using the investigating results of the problems of current noise monitoring system and the foreign cases.
