  • Only specialized coffee stores which have a competitive power will survive in the future and what matters is that how well they satisfy customers. A variety of costumers regard their individuality as important and prefer the store which meets their value. Therefore, managers should have a marketing strategy which comes up to customers' expectations with a clarified concept. In this respect, this study focuses on the structure of a specialized Japanese coffee store system which is similar to that of Korea and its changing process. The purpose of this paper is to present an ideal strategy for a specialized Korean coffee store system after investigating Japanese various kinds of coffee, their developmental process, and the Japanese coffee market trend. According to this results, Korean studies on coffee are just focusing on the quality of services. Therefore, it is necessary to study the scale of stores, the classification between domestic coffee stores and those of foreign enterprises, and the comparative analysis of both individual coffee stores and franchised coffee stores.

  • The purpose of this study was to establish the marketing strategy, that strengthens the brand royalty of their own in apparel industry and that can induce consumer's brand switching against competitive brand. This might be done by suggesting influencing factors on the brand switching for fashion goods. This study was classified into theoretical and experimental study Experimental study was done, using the survey to prove the models for consumers' responses to brand switching by the theoretical study. The survey was conducted through two preliminary questionnaires. It was used as a criterion to prove the validity of the main survey and analyse the reliability. It analyzed at last five hundred ninety-two women in the age of twenty to thirty years odd who live in Seoul and the suburban of Seoul. Followings are the summary of the results revealed through the experimental study. First, brand switching behavior of consumers far formal dress was attributed to two extremes the inner motivation of variety seeking tendency and communication contact, complex variety seeking group, true variety seeking group, derived variety seeking group, and variety avoiding group. Second, the structure of low dimension related fashion according to factor analysis, which affects brand switching, was composed to involvement in 5-dimension, information search in 3-dimension. Based on the results of this study the types of brand switching in fashion goods can be classified by the variety seeking tendency. as inner motivation, and level of contact communication as a outside stimuli. In addition this study showed a correlation among the factors for brand switching related to variables of fashion.

  • This paper presents a fuzzy neural network model which solves the underutilization problem. This fuzzy neural network has both stability and flexibility because it uses the control structure similar to AHT(Adaptive Resonance Theory)-l neural network. And this fuzzy nenral network does not need to initialize weights and is less sensitive to noise than ART-l neural network is. The learning rule of this fuzzy neural network is the modified and fuzzified version of Kohonen learning rule and is based on the fuzzification of leaky competitive leaming and the fuzzification of conditional probability. The similarity measure of vigilance test, which is performed after selecting a winner among output neurons, is the relative distance. This relative distance considers Euclidean distance and the relative location between a datum and the prototypes of clusters. To compare the performance of the proposed fuzzy neural network with that of Kohonen Self-Organizing Feature Map the IRIS data and Gaussian-distributed data are used.

  • Development work of apartment houses is a complex medium-and long-term project requiring grand resources and work force. Since in combination inner and outer project variables relate to project output, uncertainties caused by not only a given site condition but also politic, economy and social sectors are generated during the project. These risks influence output of the project as important factors, and ultimately as management variables in priority giving an effect on earnings and the financial structure of enterprises they should be manageable with the risk reduction plan. In this point of view, this study focused on development work of apartment houses among construction project. Risky factors were deduced, analyzed and evaluated based on Value Engineering from planning to designing to executing to maintaining. Eventually, this study showed the foundation guaranteeing competitive power of public and private construction sectors.

  • It's required to develop new design process which reflects objective and quantative data of real market structure and consumers' demand and to understand, use statistical packages and softwares for it in order to make a product design which can satisfy consumr's needs. Product design approachs have, however, merely focused on simple methods of design and have not been improved much so far with regards to customer-oriented design. Therefore, This study aims to help customer-oriented product design with validity and reliability by suggesting successful product design process based on reviewing existing literatures and by providing each steps of design process with optimal approaches reflecting consumers' preference. The results of this study may provide all design related fields with theoretical framework of successful design process and may reinforce competitive ability of design with the development of customer-oriented design process. We need to verify vality of this study by doing some case studies with various products in real market situations and need to develop measurements and survey methods to measure exact customers' perception dimensions.

Comparative Study of ISO Standards for an Effective Implementation of the Domestic Medical Device GMP System (ISO 국제표준의 비교 연구를 통한 국내 의료기기 GMP 제도의 효과적인 운영 방안)

  • Purpose: It can easily be understood that more rules and regulations need to be imposed on the medical device industry due to its impact on public health and hygiene. Domestic medical device manufacturers are thus required to comply with the requirements specified in the good manufacturing practice (GMP) system, and it is essential to abide by the international standards as well to sustain their global competitiveness. The main purpose of this study is to review the guidelines of the medical device GMP system in Korea and propose future directions for further enhancement of the GMP system. Methods: Specific requirements prescribed in international standards, such as ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485:2016, ISO 14971:2012, and ISO 14155:2011, are analyzed and compared with the domestic GMP system. Results: It has been observed that the generic international standard related to quality management system, ISO 9001:2015, lays out the foundations for the development of quality management system relevant to medical device industry, ISO 13485:2003, with which the domestic GMP system is fully compatible. Further, several important aspects of risk management and clinical trials of medical devices are also recognized and included in the domestic medical device GMP system. Conclusion: Even though specific requirements of individual ISO standards are slightly different from each other, their overall structure and framework may contribute to the development and enhancement of globally competitive GMP system of the domestic medical device industry.

  • The global and domestic market for offshore wind farm is expected to grow fast, and the design and installation of substructure and foundation is getting more important. As for the offshore wind farms located in the shallow(depth < 20m) water, the construction and installation of the substructure and foundation makes up about 1/4 ~1/3 of the offshore wind farm construction cost, and the portion is expected to increase because the turbine capacity is increasing from 2 ~ 3MW to 5MW or larger and the water depth of wind farms is also increasing over 30m. As a foundation for offshore wind turbine, the suction caisson foundation is being considered to be a highly competitive alternative to the conventional monopile or gravity based structure, because it has features suitable for the offshore construction such as quick installation, no heavy equipment for penetration and no hammering noise for driving. In order to study the installation behaviour of the suction caisson, laboratory tests were performed with sand. The pore water pressure and displacement were measured to analyze the suction pressure during penetration, the penetration speed and the amount of heaving.

  • A great need for comprehensive solutions for the promotion of construction technology, and it can be true through active societies. Corresponding to these needs, it is need to prepare globalization by gathering and concentrating societies quote ability, through these efforts, it is possible to ensure research effectiveness and to secure competitive position in consisting regional network like Asian Pacific Economic Cooperation, APEC. This research analyzes and suggests are enrolled in The Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies (KOFST) to find reasonable solutions for international engineer's mutual certification and growth of domestic construction related societies. This study also analyzes department structure and relationship of Civil engineering and construction related societies. This paper suggests reasonable development strategy, governmental policy and roles of construction related societies by analyzing multi dimensional problem set.

  • The domestic textile industry is currently making an active effort to present high value-added materials that can respond immediately to the wants and needs of consumers sensitive to the of originality of design and emotionally appealing fashion materials. This paper attempted to present the creative development of materials in the contemporary clothing culture in which consumers' needs are individualized and differentiated and the cycle of life in fashion materials is getting shorter. To be specific, the paper presented the texture of peculiar expression to diverse cotton materials using the Woolsmok technique in the processing of felt. The chosen Merino wool was felted to 8 kinds of cotton with different density and structure. The touch, texture, visibility and complex susceptibilities of new materials were presented as different materials of cotton and wool were transformed into one material. In felting cotton fiber through wool, the transformation of diverse textures was presented and compared in the method using the washing machine in an attempt to enhance the efficiency of the traditional craft technique and work. This study proposed the possibility of placing the new material made up of cotton and wool beyond the range of functionality of each simple material, activating it as the peculiar material and expanding it to the range of its use as fashion material in the clothing industry. It is expected that this material will become competitive material at home and abroad by being activated as the clothing material of artistry, workability and marketability that can satisfy the tastes of consumers who call for high quality and diversification.

  • Floating LNG is a new concept which is used as LNG regasification/receiving facility and for LNG production/export facility. LNG Floating Production Storage and Offloading(FPSO) concept will put vitality into marginal gas fields which were delayed because of excessive investment cost in the world. LNG Floating Storage Regasification Unit(FSRU) also provides commercially competitive and effective solutions to the areas where onshore infrastructure is not well established. LNG cargo containment system is one of the key functions for FLNG to store produced LNG on a floating structure. This paper presents a new technology related to a LNG containment system; a combined cargo containment system utilizing the advantages of iIndependent tank type and membrane system. Technical advantages have been validated through research work.
