More emphasis has recently been put on the strategic application of IT, the linkage and integration between information system, and business process for value increase of a company's business. Thus, it is high time to redefine the concept of IT governance in order to effectively manage various IT services and assets. However, less attention has been paid to the practical study of domestic firms, compared to in the academic and industrial level. In this study, the current situation of IT governance setup and various factors for future development will be examined by a case study to explore activities, types, and determinants of decision making process that companies are currently conducting regarding IT governance. For the purpose of comparative analysis, two large enterprises were chosen with similar size of sales and high investment rate for IT within the same industry, and in-depth analysis was conducted based on the interviews of the concerned parties and in-house materials, from the perspective of structure, process, and relational mechanism. By the case study on IT governance of company 'A' and 'B', decision making mechanism and factors will be analyzed, which will indicate detailed characteristics of each decision-making field and its components for general application. By doing so, it is expected to be used as reference in building IT governance that fits the environment of a firm in the future.

In this paper, we try to explore the nature of open source software development process. The process involves peculiar characteristics which seem to defy the traditional economic reasoning for technology policy. Based upon the comparative case study of open source software development process with the two innovation processes adopted from literature on economic history, we argue that technology policy should strike the balance between provision of innovation incentives and voluntary disclosure of information.

The purpose of this study was to explore the differences in stress, perfectionism, optimism and academic achievement between the scientifically gifted middle school students and general students and the relationships between stress, perfectionism, optimism and academic achievement in these two groups. 154 scientifically gifted middle school students and 145 general students from C middle school in Inchon were participated in this study as subjects. The result of this study were as fellow; In case of the gifted group, perfectionism were higher than the comparative group. However, the stress of the comparative group was higher than the gifted group. The gifted groups felt less stresses than the comparative group. In case of the gifted group, optimism were higher than the comparative group. However, It is independent in the co-relationships stress, perfectionism, optimism and academic. achievement of the scientifically gifted and general students.

Purpose - This describes a comparative study about the Online banking system between developing country (Bangladesh) and developed country (South Korea). Research design, data, and Methodology - Use comparison as the descriptive situation, secondary data were used to determine the differences between both countries with respect to Online banking. And also show the representative cases of online banking, kakao bank and bKash. Result - The results showed that the data indicate that both nations are dissimilar in providing basic and additional services offered by their traditional commercial banks. And different cultures and traditions in financial industry will play a major role in the adaption and development of online banking industry among different nations. Belief on lack of effort on educating the consumers toward online banking further affected the usability of online banking in both countries. Conclusions - this comparative study provides insightful guidelines for the future development of online banking industry in developing nations and worldwide. Also, managerial and empirical implications are discussed with suggestions for future research.

This study made use of 9 types of utilizing idle farmland deducted from existing research in order to examine cases by type of idle farmland, and selected representative cases by type after analyzing contents of 165 available newspaper articles. Selected Cases were assorted into agricultural use and nonagricultural use, and agricultural use are as followed. (1)Community Service/Farming type is the case of Gimhae city reported on 'Busan Ilbo', (2)High Income/Farming type is the case of cooperative unit of Geumjeong crude drug in Yeongam appeared in 'Newsis', and the case of Omija industry in Mungyeong reported on 'Hankyoreh', (3)Tourism/Landscape/Farming type is the case of rape flowers and buckwheat flowers in Gupo village reported on 'Asia News Agency', (4)Stock Raising/Farming type is the case of growing foraging crops published in 'The Daejeon Ilbo', (5)Weekend farm type is the case of utilizing idle farmlands and creating weekend farm reported on 'Mediawatch', (6)High income/Forest type is creating Mulberry cultivation areas in Hamyang-Gun published in 'Yonhap News', (7)Ecology/Landscape/Forest type is forestation project of idle land reported on 'Newsis', (8)Agricultural Experience Study type is the case of managing agricultural experience study center in Dosun elementary center published in 'Sisajeju' and the case of non-agricultural application case, (9)Ecological Environment type is the case of wetland restoration of idle farmland in Gochang. This study investigated and arranged detailed contents by the literature search and interview investigation according to investigating items such as utilizing area, main agent, purpose, utilizing item, utilizing content, etc. by case. With that, it deducted implications as well as case characteristics, and finally suggested political proposals through the case analysis.

Less mature nuclear reactor technologies are characterized by a greater uncertainty due to insufficient detailed design information, operational data, cost information, etc., but the expected performance characteristics of less mature options are usually more attractive in comparison with more mature ones. The greater uncertainty is, the higher economic risks associated with the project realization will be. Within a comparative evaluation of less and more mature nuclear reactor technologies, it is necessary to apply economic risk measures to balance judgments regarding the economic performance of less and more mature options. Assessments of any risk metrics involve calculating different characteristics of probability distributions of associated economic performance indicators and applying the Monte-Carlo method. This paper considers the applicability of statistical risk measures for different economic performance indicators within a trial case study on a comparative evaluation of less and more mature unspecified LWRs. The presented case study demonstrates the main trends associated with the incorporation of economic risk metrics into a comparative evaluation of less and more mature nuclear reactor technologies.

This study did quantitative comparative evaluation of changes in generation consequent on reflectivity of the protruding wall near the widow in case of application of PV window system to an apartment house. To be concrete, this study did comparative analysis of the generation of (B) through the process of composing Mock-up (A)comprising the protruding window near the window and Mock-up(B) free of nearby wall interference, and giving change to the reflectivity of the wall (Case_1~3). The analysis result showed that the difference in generation was slight in case solar radiation was less than 10,000Wh in all three conditions. On the contrary, in case solar radiation was more than 10,000 Wh, the generation as against Module(B), was analyzed to be 87~91% in Case_1(5% reflectivity), 18~60% in Case_2(85% reflectivity), and 16~71% in case_3(93% reflectivity), respectively.

In recent years, research has begun to place greater emphasis on the strategic use of IT in seeking to build firm's capability, thus innovating firm's business value. Many leading firms have been put efforts to formulate and implement IT governance (ITG) structures, processes, and mechanisms for firm's IT activities. However, recent literatures reviews found that ITG framework have been discussed independently rather than in an integrated and on convergent manner failing to provide comprehensive conceptual framework. The objective of this paper is therefore, to develop a conceptual framework that enable to conduct a comparative ITG case studies. The proposed framework, developed by one of author, has extensively applied in real case study to validate its usefulness and also aims to contribute practitioners to understand how well IT principles are formed within the organization as well as corelate with ITG objectives and ITG execution.

In this paper, we propose a comparative study of Informatics subject curriculums and textbooks in middle school between Korea and England because both countries have similar national curriculums about software education which has computational thinking as objectives of education and good-qualified textbooks for teachers and students. we looked through the Informatics and Computing curriculums and textbook of both countries in order to give good reference case to Informatics textbook manufacturer. In addition, we verified the validity of this study through FGI. The results of this study will be a good case study about designing Informatics curriculum and making Informatics textbooks in middle school.
