음성장애인의 자가음성평가와 정상음성인의 청자음성평가 특성 비교 (Comparative Studies on the Self Voice Assessment of Voice Disorder Patients and the Hearer Voice Assessment of a Comparative Group of normal subjects)

  • This paper will discuss the difference between self assessment of voice disorders and the hearer voice assessment of a comparative group of normal subjects. The study was conducted on 25 voice disorder subjects and 32 hearers of a comparative group of normal subjects. The results are as follows. Firstly, in K-VHI and VHI-H, the hearers of the comparative group of normal subjects perceived more serious voice disorders than the voice disorder group in all sub-domains. Likewise, in K-VQOL and VRQOL-H, the hearers of the comparative group of normal subjects perceived more serious voice disorders than the voice disorder group in all sub-domains. Secondly, the hearer voice assessment of the comparative group of normal subjects showed no difference in gender regarding the perception of the severity of voice disorder issues. Thirdly, the hearer voice assessment of the comparative group of normal subjects states that in the emotional aspects of VHI-H, professional voice users perceive more serious voice disorders than others. Accordingly, in VRQOL-H, there was no difference in use of the voice between professionals and others.

독일, 영국과 한국, 일본 등 아시아 국가 간의 위험성평가 제도 비교연구 (Comparative Study on the Institutional Framework of Risk Assessment between German, UK and Korea, Japan in Asian Countries)

  • This paper is a comparative study on risk assessment policy between Asian countries such as Japan, Korea, Singapore and EU countries, German, UK. Risk assessment is a tool adopted currently in many countries in order to reduce occupational risk in workplace because it help employers to identify their hazard arousing in their working conditions then to settle the issues. This paper compares institutional framework posed in EU and Asian countries. As a result of comparative study, EU countries have more concrete legal system for risk assessment than Asian countries. But Asian countries are now interested in risk assessment such as Japan, Korea and Singapore. The author also suggests successful ways to settle down the risk assessment policy in a country. These findings help to understand occupational health and safety policy on risk assessment in Asian countries.

  • Purpose: This study proposes methods and procedures for evaluating imaging security systems quality of cabinet x-ray screening system to enhance performance certification technology. Also, conducted a comparative analysis of the literature of test-kit for imaging security quality evaluation. Methods: Comparative analysis of the test-kits and related documents for image quality assessment of cabinet x-ray screening equipment. This allows assessment items were selected and the methods for each assessment item were proposed. In addition, the configuration method of the assessment team was established by applying the technology readiness assessment(TRA). Results: Four of the assessment items were selected when estimate image quality by a comparative analysis of literature. For each assessment item, the evaluation method and minimum level of availability were determined. Finally, this paper proposes an imaging quality assessment of cabinet X-ray imaging security systems. Conclusion: Development of imaging security systems evaluation procedures for cabinet X-ray screening systems can be help improve performance certification of aviation security equipment.

사업장 위험성평가에 관한 법제의 비교법적 고찰 (A Comparative Study on the Legal System for Risk Assessment in the Workplace)

  • Objectives: By comparing and analyzing the legal system for risk assessment in South Korea with other advanced countries, the study is designed to identify the key elements of risk assessment and seek improvement measures while focusing on solutions to the execution of risk assessment violations. Methods: The study started with an awareness of the need to improve the legislation on the risk assessment of businesses in Korea. In order to reflect this problem consciousness in Korea's industrial safety and health legislation, risk assessment legislation in Japan, Britain, Germany, and Korea was analyzed in comparative terms through the literature. Results: Unlike the other advanced countries, the concept of risk assessment is defined in Korea in a broad sense that includes measures to reduce risk, and risk assessment in the manufacturing and design stages is not institutionalized. In the case of worker participation, there is a problem regarding effectiveness. It is problematic that compared to the other foreign countries there is a possibility that general risk assessment will be neutralized because it is recognized as a uniform general risk assessment for a particular risk assessment, as well as inadequate risk assessment. Conclusions: The areas diagnosed with problems compared to the legislation in other advanced countries should be improved by revising laws and administrative rules and supplementing the explanatory guidelines, etc. by referring to the legislation of these countries. In particular, the issue of enforcement for violations of risk assessment must be improved in order to ensure the effectiveness of risk assessment.

국외 감염병 위험도 평가체계의 비교분석 (Comparative Analysis of Risk Assessment Tools for Infectious Diseases)

  • Background: Emerging infectious diseases, such as Middle East respiratory syndrome or coronavirus disease 2019, pose a continuous threat to public health, making a risk assessment necessary for infectious disease control and prevention. Therefore, we aimed to investigate the risk assessment methods for infectious diseases used by major foreign countries and organizations. Methods: We conducted an investigation and comparative analysis of risk assessment and risk determination methods for infectious diseases. The risk assessment tools included the strategic toolkit for assessing risks, influenza risk assessment tool, pandemic severity assessment framework, and rapid risk assessment methodology. Results: The most frequently reported risk elements were disease severity, antiviral treatment, attack rate, population immunity, and basic productive ratio. The risk evaluation method was evaluated quantitatively and qualitatively by the stakeholders at each institution. Additionally, the final risk level was visualized in a matrix, framework, and x and y-axis. Conclusion: Considering the risk assessment tools, the risk element was classified based on the duplicate of each indicator, and risk evaluation and level of risk assessment were analyzed.

  • The risk assessment model is an important subsystem for effective establishment and operation of EMS (environment management system). In case of poor risk assessment long-term and large-scale failure expense might be brought. Managing policy, target and other indices based on risk assessment can guarantee successful EMS. In this paper, we aim at comparative analysis of various risk methods and propose an alternative risk assessment model for EMS.

한국과 일본의 지방자치단체 환경영향평가 제도 비교 연구 I - 대상사업 및 평가항목을 중심으로 - (A Comparative Study on the Local Governments' Environmental Impact Assessment Systems between Korea and Japan I - forcusing on target projects and assessment items -)

  • This study aims to review the environmental impact assessment systems of Japanese local governments, to compare its outcome with the systems of Korean local governments, and to suggest the development direction for the environmental impact assessment systems of Korean local governments based on the result. The study results showed that, first, due to distinction in the political systems of Japan and Korea, while Japan has bottom-up environmental impact assessment systems, Korea has topdown environment impact assessment systems. Second, although introduction of national systems on planning was put on hold as a future initiative, local governments including Tokyo and Saitama are experimenting evaluation procedures tailored to local features by legislating them as regulations. On the other hand, while 'prior environmental review system' was in effect as a national system, nothing was practiced at all by local governments. Third, in a total of 47 Japanese local governments, about 45 projects and 44 assessment items were added to local government environmental impact assessment only and designated as target projects and assessment items. Fourth, in both national and local environment impact assessment systems in Japan, screening procedures to determine assessment by separating into Type 1 projects and Type 2 projects and scoping procedures to discuss assessment items in advance were introduced and in effect. This Japanese EIA system may serve as a good reference to the Korean national and local government EIA systems.

한국과 일본의 국가수준 학업성취도 평가 문항 비교 분석 (Comparative Analysis of the National Level Academic Achievement Assessment Items between Korea and Japan)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 우리나라와 일본의 최신 개정 교육과정에 따라 최초로 시행한 중학교 국가수준 학업성취도평가 수학 문항을 비교, 분석하고 이를 바탕으로 우리나라의 수학과 교육과정 및 교수·학습의 개선을 위해 국가수준 학업성취도평가에 적용가능한 시사점을 도출하는 것이다. 먼저 두 국가에서 시행되고 있는 국가수준 학업성취도평가를 개괄하였고, 두 국가의 중학교 수학 학업성취도평가의 문항을 내용영역, 맥락, 역량에 따른 분석틀에 따라 수와 식, 함수, 기하, 확률과 통계 영역에서 두 국가의 문항의 특성을 비교분석하였다. 이를 바탕으로 실생활 맥락을 강조하고 문제해결 과정과 결과를 반성할 수 있는 문항 개발, 교육과정 개정의 중점사항을 반영한 평가 문항 개발 등의 국가수준 학업성취도평가 개선방안과 2022 개정을 앞두고 '증명' 용어의 도입 필요성 및 방법 등 교육과정 및 교수·학습 개선방안을 제안하였다.

고등학교 논의기반 탐구 과학수업에서 학생 평가활동이 반성적 사고에 미치는 영향 (Impact of Student Assessment Activities on Reflective Thinking in High School Argument-Based Inquiry)

  • 이 연구는 학생 평가활동을 적용한 논의기반 탐구 과학수업이 고등학생들의 반성적 사고에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 광역시의 인문계 고등학교 1학년 6개 학급의 학생 166명을 대상으로 한 학기에 걸쳐 5개의 논의기반 탐구 과학수업을 실시하였다. 실험집단(84명)은 논의기반 탐구 과학수업의 주장과 증거 단계에 동료평가활동과 자기평가활동을 적용하여 논의의 질을 평가하는 경험을 제공하였으며 비교집단(82명)은 이 단계를 생략하였다. 학생 평가활동이 학생들의 반성적 사고에 미치는 효과를 알아보기 위해 학생들이 작성한 반성 글쓰기를 분석하였으며, 인터뷰와 설문조사를 통해 평가활동에 대한 학생들의 인식을 탐색하여 학생 평가활동의 타당성과 활용 정도를 알아보았다. 반성 글쓰기 분석 결과, 1차 반성 글쓰기에서 두 집단 간의 유의미한 차이가 없었으나 3차와 5차 반성 글쓰기에서 실험집단의 점수가 비교집단보다 유의미하게 높았다. 반성 글쓰기의 하위 요소에서 탐구과정 분석, 학습의 이해, 생각의 변화 요소는 실험집단과 비교집단 모두 메타인지 수준의 반성을 나타내는 학생 비율이 증가하였으나, 실험집단이 비교집단보다 메타인지 수준의 반성을 보이는 학생 비율이 더 높았다. 반성적 실천 요소의 분석 결과, 실험집단은 메타인지 수준의 반성적 실천 학생 비율이 증가하였으나 비교집단은 오히려 감소하였다. 학생 설문조사와 인터뷰를 분석한 결과, 학생들은 평가활동이 자신의 학습에 도움이 된다고 인식하고 있었다. 또한 평가활동을 통해 자신이 무엇을 얼마나 알고 있는지를 깨닫게 되고 문제점을 파악하여 개선할 수 있는 방법을 탐색하는 메타인지 능력이 향상되었다고 응답하였다. 이러한 메타인지적 반성을 통해 부족한 부분을 개선하려 노력하였으므로 평가활동이 반성적 실천을 이끌었다고 인식하였다. 따라서 학생 평가활동은 학습의 과정으로 통합되어 학생들을 능동적으로 학습에 참여시킬 뿐만 아니라 학습에 대한 책임감을 향상시켜 학습을 스캐폴딩하는 도구로써 활용이 가능하다고 생각된다.
