Recently, one of the received attraction fields in web based service is 'Human Relationship Service' that is called SNS. This relationship map service is able to deliver information to user more easily and visually because it is intuitive data that is linked with offline real world. While past map service put physical real information in the map, present map service is evolving into new communicative platform that expresses social relationship beyond simple search platform that shows real world. In this paper, we propose smart social grid system using sketch map that is based on online map service structure. This system has features such as standardized interface provision for various SNS, use to governance hub tool in case of establishing a personal network through expanded social grid, a role of bridge to mashup software linked with other SNS, user environment construction that reproduces social grid data, and the faster service setup by improved search technology.

In the era of globalization, small and medium sized businesses (SMBs) are striving to attain competitive advantage in the rapidly changing and diversified markets. It is necessary for SMBs to enhance their global compentency in order to successfully enter overseas markets. In an attempt to shed light on how closely an SMB's global competency is related to how efficiently their employees can perform their tasks in the overseas market, this study examined the nature of English use in oral communication by twelve Korean men working in Dubai. Questionnaires and recordings were used to collect the data. The results show that English competency plays a crucial role in work efficiency in the overseas business context. Also, superior oral skills are considered the most important in doing business as it is the most frequently required form of communication. Participants of the study showed a tendency to make up for their lack of communicative competency by using various strategies. They tried to avoid communication breakdown by all means in order to get the task done.

As the technology realizing digital multimedia has been developing remarkably based on Internet environment, today we can gain various information we need quickly and easily without regard to time or place by using world wide web. The recent spread of digital animation as a way of communication on Internet has been forming a new communication paradigm according to the development of age. Besides, digital animations embodied on web are a kind of communication medium which is expressed through interactions using different digital multimedia tools and put the concepts of time and space together. This is a form which can cope with various forms of information, and it occupies a high rate on web and is used often. Web animations offer various forms of communication, such as interface structure design for information transfer, characters, typography, and other graphic elements, which make users feel maximized real dynamics. This paper analyzes and evaluates the categories according to the characteristics, information and usage types of digital animations used on web, examines more efficient communication expressions based on them, and pays attention to the Internet environment that will develop and change in the future. With regard to it, this research aims at suggesting a useful theory so that diverse digital animations on web based on Internet environment would develop into a new communication paradigm responding to the change of time.

The purpose of this study was to examine the difference between communicative competence and problem solving ability by applying project - based instruction in the community dental hygienic subject. For this purpose, we measured 30 students' communication ability and problem solving ability using the same questionnaire before and after experiencing project learning. The data were Collected from 30 undergraduate students and analyzed by paired t-test with SPSS. The result demonstrated that project-based learning method has an significant effect on improvement of communication skill and problem solving ability of undergraduate students. Based on the results of this study, in order to improve the practical ability, it is necessary to activate the self-directed active learning method such as Project-based learning for community dental hygiene major study.
