  • This paper begin a new approach in the water-gate control using radio communication. The dissertation is on the controllable device development of water-gate in the remote distance from water-gate trough the transceiver by radio communication. The proposed water-gate control device is simpe in structure, an suitable for implementation of water-gate control in the remote distance. The remote controller water-gate device inspected the up and down motion of water-gate through the LCD displayer, so that it was very safety driving about the surroundings imformation, over loading and position of water-gate, and so on.

A Group-aware Multicast Scheme in 60GHz WLANs

  • The relation of multicast transmission and directional antennas is an open problem that has been debated for a long period of time. In this paper, we propose a group-aware multicast scheme of efficient multicast communication using the directional antennas for 60GHz millimeter wave wireless networks. For this purpose, we first derive the relation among beamwidth, distance between devices and most suitable data rate in the 60GHz frequency-based wireless network. In addition, for the dynamic beamforming of multicast communication, the x and y coordinates of any point with sender device at the center is generated, and a best-chosen group is deduced based on the Euclidean distance. Then the most suitable data rate for the group is obtained using the law of cosine. Using the Standard IEEE 802.11ad MAC protocol as an example, extensive simulation results demonstrate that the proposed scheme outperforms the existing multicast communication schemes with directional antennas under different situations.

  • In this paper, a platoon merging is considered as a remote-controlled system with the state represented by a stochastic process. In this system, it becomes to encounter situations where a single decision maker controls a large number of subsystems, and observation and control signals are sent over a communication channel with finite capacity and significant transmission delays. Unlike classical estimation problem in which the observation is a continuous process corrupted by additive noise, there is a constraint that the observation must be coded and transmitted over a digital communication channel with finite capaci쇼. A recursive coder-estimator sequence is a state estimation scheme based on observations transmitted with finite communication capacity constraint. Using the coder-estimator sequence, the remote control station designs a feedback controller. In this paper, we introduce a stochastic model for the lead vehicle in a platoon of vehicles considering the angle between a road surface and a horizontal plane as a stochastic process. The simulation results show that the inter-vehicle distance and the deviation from the desired inter-vehicle distance are well regulated.

  • In recently, microstrip antenna has been used to be communication devices through compact size, lightweight, and multi-layered integration. Also miniaturized communication system is expected to be power consumption and cost savings. In this paper, Long-distance communication is possible for the purpose of micro-strip antenna design, and prototype antenna were made and analyzed by using network analyzer.

  • 임베디드 시스템에서의 코드 압축은 효율성 제고를 위한 필수적인 기법이다. ARM, MIPS등 많은 프로그램 코드에서 현재 시도되고 있으나 한계를 나타내고 있다. 특히, Arm Thumb 코드는 다른 코드 압축과 달리, 아직까지 15%-20%정도의 압축 효율을 보이고 있다. 본 논문은 다양한 값을 갖는 코드의 데이터이지만, 일정 부분에서 특정 값의 발생빈도가 높은 Thumb 코드의 분포를 분석, 그 특성을 활용하였다. 즉, 현재 압축하고자 하는 필드의 값을 코드의 앞부분과 비교해 나가면서, 유사도를 분석 및 압축하고, 거리 정보를 기록하는 방식의 거리 벡터 기법의 압축방법을 고안, 적용하였고, 그 결과 압축효율이 20-25%로 기존의 방법에 비하여 약 5%정도의 효율 향상을 가져 왔다.

  • This paper explains the design and implementation of the FDA(Fault Detection Agent). FDA is a system that is suitable for detecting software error for multimedia distance education based on home network environment. This system consists of an ED, and ES. ED is an agent that detects an error by hooking techniques for multimedia distance education based on home network environment. ES is an agent that is an error sharing system for multimedia distance education based on home network environment. From the perspective of multimedia collaborative environment, an error application becomes another interactive presentation error is shared with participants engaged in a cooperative work. Performance analysis is done by Comparison of Hooking with Snatching Method.

  • A golf ball collecting robot in a golf ball driving range has been recently required because it is safer and more economic than a human being. In this paper, the golf ball recognition and distance estimation system based on a neural network and OpenCV is developed for the robot. The simulation results show that the recognition ratio is over 87% for the distance of less than 120cm and accurate rate for distance estimation is over 85% for golf balls in 30-180cm from a webcam.

  • The Laser distance instrument in past was used mainly with military affairs and the helicopter loaded measures the distance with target and the firing body used in the tank.   • This study aims at establishing an digital signal processing technique to control 3-D sound localization, especially focusing our eyes on the role of information provided by Head-Related Transfer Function(HRTF). In order to clarify the cues to control the auditory distance perception, two conventional models named Hirsch-Tahara model and auditory parallax model were examined. As a result, it was shown that both models have limitations to universally explain the auditory distance perception. Hence, the auditory parallax model was extended so as to apply in broader cases of auditory distance perception. The results of the experiment by simulating HRTFs based on the extented parallax model showed that the cues provided by the new model were almost sufficient to control the perception of auditory distance from an actual sound source located within about 2 m.
