Effective Proposal Communication Framework Based on Credibility (신뢰성에 기반한 효과적 제안 Communication Framework)

  • The purpose of this research is to develop a communication framework based on credibility for information technology (IT) proposal. It is necessary to develop a communication framework for IT proposal since it has become more important how effective IT service providers can deliver an IT proposal to customers. In this paper, we develop a communication framework for IT proposal through dividing customer's recognition steps and analyzing key factors based on the credibility. Key factors affecting communication framework have been identified and analyzed by focus group interview and questionnaires with experienced staffs. The results of this study can be used for enhancement of IT proposal's quality through the introduction of communication framework.

  • Reliance on the Internet has introduced Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) to various security threats. A reliable security protocol and an authentication scheme are thus required to prevent the aforementioned threats. However, an authentication scheme often demands additional cost and effort. Accordingly, a security framework for known participants in VoIP communication is proposed in this paper. The framework is known as Randomness-Optimized Self-Securing (ROSS), which performs authentication automatically throughout the session by optimizing the uniqueness and randomness of the communication itself. Elliptic Curve Diffie-Hellman (ECDH) key exchange and Salsa20 stream cipher are utilized in the framework correspondingly to secure the key agreement and the communication with low computational cost. Human intelligence supports ROSS authentication process to ensure participant authenticity and communication regularity. The results show that with marginal overhead, the proposed framework is able to secure VoIP communication by performing reliable authentication.

  • Recently, various in-vehicle networks have been developed respectively in order to accomplish their own purpose such as CAN and MOST. Various electronic devices for vehicle are controllable by the advent of networks attached to the vehicle. However, the networks also come with a variety of unique features in each network-specific communication which creates difficulty using and supporting the interoperable services among the networks. To solve this problem, each network needs a standard integration framework. In this paper, a framework is proposed and implemented. It consists of a standard protocol using XML to improve compatibility and portability. The framework makes each network interoperable by applying unique information and messages of the network in the XML standard document. The results obtained by implementation show that the framework supports the efficient communication of data between heterogeneous invehicle networks.

The proposed software framework is divided into four layers-a transparency layer, a behavior layer, a distributed task layer, and a mission scenario layer.   • In this paper, we present a practical implementation of the MPEG-21 multimedia framework for broadcasting and communication convergent services. MPEG-21 standard technology was exploited to build a convergent service framework. Using this framework, a service model and several scenarios have been successfully designed and implemented. In addition, interoperability, which is the main objective of a multimedia framework, especially in a convergent environment consisting of heterogeneous networks and various types of devices, has been addressed in detail. The experimental results show that the implemented test bed provides a next-generation multimedia service; that is, universal multimedia access (UMA), meeting the requirements of a broadcasting and communication convergent environment.

  • The portable mobile devices with high performance and high speed 5G network activate and explode the demands for ubiquitous information services that remove the limitations of time for the communication and places to request for the information. NN (Nearest Neighbor) search is one of the most important types of queries to be processed efficiently in the information services. Various indexes have been proposed to support efficient NN search in the wireless broadcast system. The indexes adopting Hilbert curve, grid partition or Voronoi diagram enable the clients to search for NN quickly in the wireless broadcast channel. It is necessary that an efficient means to evaluate the performances of various indexes. In this paper, we propose an open framework that can adopt a variety of indexing schemes and evaluate and compare the performances of them. The proposed framework is organized with open and flexible structure that can adopt hybrid indexing schemes extensible to Voronoi diagram as well as simple indexing schemes. With the implemented framework, we demonstrate the efficiency and scalability and flexibility of the proposed framework by evaluating various indexing schemes for NN query.

  • This study discusses "mechanisms" in a research facility, specifically focusing on the question of how we can understand what happens in the physical environment and the communication between researchers. This study attempts to address this question by examining two physical settings, before and after the move of one research-educational facility, the Institute of Paper Science and Technology. The objective of the study is to suggest conceptual models to comprehend the relationships between spatial layouts and communication. The study examines the underlying mechanism of how the levels of communication meet the layers of spatial structure. The paper has four parts. First, the preceding studies will be reviewed evoking some issues of communication and physical setting in research facilities. Second a conceptual typology in office plan will be developed providing a theoretical framework to review the spatial organization of the subject research facility, the Institute of Paper Science and Technology (IPST). Third, the spatial organization of the former building (before the move) and the present building (after the move) of IPST will be analyzed. Finally, conceptual models of the mechanism between the communication and the spatial organization will be drawn up.

  • In this paper, we implemented a FIPA-OS multi-agent framework bundle in OSGi Service Platform. FIPA-OS is an open agent platform for constructing FIPA compliant agent using mandatory components that required by all FIPA-OS agents to execution and optional components that FIPA-OS agent car optionally use. The platform supports communication between multiple agents and communication language which conforms to the FIPA standards. FIPA-OS framework bundle is composed of DE(Directory Facilitator), AMS(Agent Management System), ACC(Agent Communication Channel) and MTS(Message Transport System) bundle. These bundles installed in the OSGi service platform and their life cycle can be managed by the framework.

  • 최근 생명 연장과 삶의 질에 관한 많은 관심에 따라서 의료 부문에 있어서도 Ubiquitous 환경을 도입하는 노력이 시도되고 있다. 그 중 Ubiquitous Hospital은 여러 가지 병원 서비스 부분의 편의성을 제공하고자 분야로써 이것을 이용하여 시간과 장소의 제약 없이 각종 의료서비스와 건강관리를 제공 받을 수 있는 Ubiquitous Healthcare 서비스에 대한 관심이 증대되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이 Ubiquitous Healthcare 서비스 제공 system 구현을 위한 framework을 제안한다. 이 framework에서는 사용자가 되는 의사와 환자에 적합한 인터페이스를 제공하고 환자에 대한 추적 관찰과 증상의 판단 및 환자 진료시의 지원 서비스를 제공한다. 또한 보험회사나 병원과 같은 외부시스템과 연계하여 필요한 데이터의 공유가 가능하도록 한다. 그리고 제안된 framework를 이용하여 전립선 환자를 위한 BPH 환자관리 시스템을 구현한다.
