컴퓨터 바둑 프로그래밍 기법 (Programming Methodology of the Computer Go)

  • 본 논문은 컴퓨터 바둑을 구현하기 위한 프로그래밍 기법을 제시한다. 컴퓨터 바둑은 바둑의 여러 규칙을 가지고 스스로 국면의 형세를 판단한 후, 다음 놓을 자리 를 정확히 계산할 수 있어야 한다. 주요 설계 원칙은 패턴 매칭, 알파-베타 탐색, 영향력 계산 등의 휴리스므틱한 요소를 조합하는 것이다.본 논문에서는 컴퓨터 바둑을 연구하는 사람들의 접근 방법과 그들의 연구결과를 소개하고 컴퓨터 바둑을 구현하기 위한 자료 구조와 알고리즘을 제안하였다.

Che-Yong(體用) Logic and Research Methodology

  • Today's Eastern philosophers try to use the formal logic organized by Aristotle, saying that there was no logic in the East. This researcher found that Confucius and other Asians used Che-Yong logic. The Che-Yong logic is based on the Che-Yong law, which is a natural law. The Che-Yong law consists of the Che-Yong principle and the Hyeon-Mi principle. The Hyeon-Mi principle is that if there is an appearance on the outside, there is a corresponding cause in it. The Che-Yong principle is that the highest common cause of various appearances is Che, and the Che grows and changes on its own to become a Yong. Identifying Che and predicting Yong is Che-Yong logic. Here, I'd like to introduce Che-Yong logic and suggest a new research methodology to apply it.

CORBA 환경에서 멀티미디어 컴퍼넌트 관리 시스템을 통한 프레임워크 구축 (Framework Construction with Multimedia Component Management System on CORBA)

  • 프레임워크는추상화된 클래스들의 집합또는특정 도메인에서 재사용가능한설계를구성하는상호연관된 클래스틀의 집합으로 도메인에 속한 애플리케이션들간의 공통된 아키텍쳐를 정의한다- 프레엄워크를 재사용 함으로 개발자들은 클래스 코드뿐만 아니라 도메인에 대한 폭넓은 도메인 지식을 재사용할 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 프레임워크 재사용을 위해 컴퍼넌트기반의 방법론(COM; Component→Oriented M Methodology)을 제시하고 프레임워크 구축환경을 개발한다. 즉, 컴퍼넌트기반의 소프트웨어 생성을 위해 실세계의 도메인 지식을 입력으로 도메인을 분석하고 분석된 정보를 통해 hotspot을 식별하여 사용자와 개빌 자의 추가정보를 첨가하는 재설계 과정올 거친다. 이후 도메인에 따라 도메인 프레임워크와 애플리케이션 프레임워크를 생성한다 이러한 컴퍼넌트 지향 방법론은 내부적으로는 컴퍼넌트/패턴 라이브러리 저장소를 통해 정보를 검색, 이해하여 추출하거나 혹은 합성으로 얻어진 정보는 각각 컴퍼넌트와 패턴에 대한 정보로 분류되고 이것은 재설계시 추가정보로 사용되어진다. 이로 인해 사용자는 멀티미디어 컴퍼넌트를 이용해 자신의 애플리케이션에 쉽게 적용가능한 개발 환경 즉, 본 논문에서는 CORBA(Common Object Request B Broker Architecture) 환경하에 컴퍼넌트/패턴 관리 시스템(Component Pattern Management System C CPMS)을 통해 멀티 미 디 어 컴 퍼 넌트를 추가 갱 신 삭제하는 기 반 환경 (infrastructure environment)을 구축함 으로 재사용성, 사용의 용이성과 이식성을 가질 수 있다.

  • Software development of large scale program such as Operating System or University Total Information System is lengthy and costly process. In order to reduce cost, time and risk, there is currentry general acceptance of the need for Software Reuse System during the whole development cycles. In this paper, (from a practical point of view), the problem of existing reuse system methodology is analyzed and an implement method of software reuse system is presented. Also using this method Application Program Reuse System(APRS) which supports all phase of software life cycles is designed and implemented. This application program reuse system which is based on common language is considerably shown to reduce communication Error of requirement specification between systems analyst and end-user.

  • We found the similarities and differences it the works of Italian Architects especially in 1960s Neo Rationalism and also in the products of inclination of contemporary Minimalism. Based on the moderate application of traditional architectural language and on typological prototype the Italian Architects pursued inherent logic by which the works came to the composition and association rule that show an extremely moderate expression of a spirit indispensable to Architecture. And they turned down the logic of ergonomics but they searched for the simple and prototypical form that was the architectural language strongly restrictive common and objective all through the abstraction of Architectural elements in their memories. The overcome from the forms and the methodology of thinking contain common types in Contemporary Minimalism. But Contemporary Minimalism rejects fundamentally the analogical interpretation and typological protiotype from the past.

  • This paper describes an approach to detect interesting objects using satellite images. This paper focuses on the interesting objects that have common special patterns but do not have identical shapes and sizes. The previous technologies are still insufficient for automatic finding of the interesting objects based on operation of special pattern analysis. In order to overcome the circumstances, this paper proposes a methodology to obtain the special patterns of interesting objects considering their common features and their related characteristics. This paper applies MSER(Maximally Stable Extremal Regions) for the region detection and corner detector in order to extract the features of the interesting object. This paper conducts a case study and obtains the experimental results of the case study, which is efficient in reducing processing time and efforts comparing to the previous manual searching.

  • 최근 보안성 평가기준의 국제 표준인 공통평가기준(Common Criteria, ISO/IEC 15408)의 국내 도입이 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 따라서 개발자들은 개발초기부터 공통평가기준에 대비하여 보안 제품을 개발하는 것이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 공통평가기준과 공통평가방법론(Common Evaluation Methodology, CEM)을 참고하여 개발자들이 공통평가기준에 대비하여 보안 제품을 개발할 수 있도록 하기 위한 개발 지침을 제시한다.

ASSESSMENT OF THERMAL FATIGUE IN MIXING TEE BY FSI ANALYSIS

  • Thermal fatigue is a significant long-term degradation mechanism in nuclear power plants. In particular, as operating plants become older and life time extension activities are initiated, operators and regulators need screening criteria to exclude risks of thermal fatigue and methods to determine significant fatigue relevance. In general, the common thermal fatigue issues are well understood and controlled by plant instrumentation at fatigue susceptible locations. However, incidents indicate that certain piping system Tee connections are susceptible to turbulent temperature mixing effects that cannot be adequately monitored by common thermocouple instrumentations. Therefore, in this study thermal fatigue evaluation of piping system Tee-connections is performed using the fluid-structure interaction (FSI) analysis. From the thermal hydraulic analysis, the temperature distributions are determined and their results are applied to the structural model of the piping system to determine the thermal stress. Using the rain-flow method the fatigue analysis is performed to generate fatigue usage factors. The procedure for improved load thermal fatigue assessment using FSI analysis shown in this study will supply valuable information for establishing a methodology on thermal fatigue.

A Quantitative Study on Important Factors of the PSA of Safety-Critical Digital Systems

  • This paper quantitatively presents the effects of important factors of the probabilistic safety assessment (PSA) of safety-critical digital systems. The result which is quantified using fault tree analysis methodology shows that these factors remarkably affect the system safety. In this paper we list the factors which should be represented by the model for PSA. Based on the PSA experience, we select three important factors which are expected to dominate the system unavailability. They are the avoidance of common cause failure, the coverage of fault tolerant mechanisms and software failure probability. We Quantitatively demonstrate the effect of these three factors. The broader usage of digital equipment in nuclear power plants gives rise to the safety problems. Even though conventional PSA methods are immature for applying to microprocessor-based digital systems, practical needs force us to apply it because the result of PSA plays an important role in proving the safety of a designed system. We expect the analysis result to provide valuable feedback to the designers of digital safety- critical systems.

Cellular manufacturing system design with proper assignment of machines and parts

  • This study is concerned with the strict machine-cell and part-family grouping (MCPFG) in cellular manufacturing system design. Most of MCPFG methodologies often suffer from improper assignment of machines and parts in which exceptional machine has more common operations with machines in a cell other than its own cell and exceptional part has more operations through machines in a cell other than the cell corresponding to its own family. This results in the loss of similarity in part design or common setup of machines and the benefits from the conversion of job shop manufacturing into cellular manufacturing are lost. In this study, a two-phase methodology is proposed to find the machine-cells and part families under the strict constraints in which all machines and parts are assigned to its most proper cells and families. Test results with moderately medium-sized ill-structured MCPFG problems available from the literature show the substantial efficiency of the proposed approach.
