Experimental Review on Dynamic Characteristics of the Commercial Mounts for Vibration Reduction (상업용 방진마운트의 동적 특성에 관한 실험적 고찰)

  • The mount suppliers are providing limited information on the dynamic characteristics of the mounts to some designers and some manufacturers of the high-precision machines. In this technical study, the experimental review was carried out about dynamic characteristics of five kinds of commercial passive mounts sold in the market. The dynamic characteristics, natural frequency and damping ratio, extracted from experimental tests were compared to the materials supplied by mount makers. In order to predict the performance of the high-precision machines with mounts, exact values of the dynamic characteristics of mounts should be used in the stage of numerical analysis.

An Energy Demand Forecasting Model for the Residential and Commercial Sector (민수부문의 에너지원별 수요예측모형)

  • This paper presents a generalized fuel choice model in which restrictive constraints on cross-price coefficients as Baughman-Joskow-FEA Logit Model need not be imposed, but all demand elasticities are uniquely determined. The model is applied to estimating aggregate energy demand and fuel choices for the residential and commercial sector. The structural equations are estimated by a generalized least squares procedure using national-level EPB, KDI, BK, KRIS, MOER data for 1965 and 1980, and other related reports. The econometric results support the argument that “third-price” and “fourth-price” coefficients should not be constrained in estimating relative market share models. Furthermore, by using this fuel choice model, it has forecasted energy demands by fuel sources in, the residential and commercial sector until 1991. The results are turned out good estimates to compare with existing demands forecasted from other institutes.

  • As the market size of multiprocessor systems for commercial applications, parallel systems, especially cache-coherent shared-memory multiprocessors that are conventionally designed for scientific applications need to be tuned in different fashion to achieve the best performance for new application area. In this paper, indepth investigation on the memory behavior which is the primary cause for performance changes were made. We chose representative benchmarks in scientific and commercial application areas. After running execution-driven simulation for bus-based cache-coherent shared-memory multiprocessors, we experienced significant differences and conclude that the systems must be carefully and differently designed to achieve the best performance when they are built for distinct applications.

The Effect of Perceived Benefits and Obstacles on the Continuous Internet Adoption Intention in Fashion Companies

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze how the perceived benefits and obstacles of fashion companies, which utilizes the internet as a marketing or commercial transaction tool, have effect on the continuous internet adoption intention, and to analyze the differences between the companies that have introduced the internet commercial transaction and those that have not. A survey was conducted from January $15^{th}$ to February $20^{th}$ in 2009, among the employees of fashion companies carrying out internet business. A total of 314 respondents used in the data analysis, the statistical analysis methods were frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, t-test and multiple regression analysis. The results show that the elevation of the business results, improvement in customer relationship and raise in market reactivity of the perceived benefits has effect on the continuous internet adoption intention of fashion companies. There are differences in the elevation of the business results, improvement in consumer relationship, miscellaneous expenses and the continuous internet adoption intention between companies that introduced a internet commercial transaction system and those that have not.

The present status and future prospects of Kimchi industry in Korea (김치산업의 현황과 발전 방향)

  • Kimchi industry in Korea has grown rapidly with the increasing domestic and overseas demand of Kimchi. Currently, there is an increase trend of consuming the commercial Kimchi products, although the Kimchi consumption/adult/year is decreasing (36.6 kg in 2018). The amount of commercial Kimchi consumption in 2018 was 757,000 M/T (metric ton), out of 1,892,000 M/T of the estimated total consumption, and the size of Kimchi market was estimated to be 1,398 billion wons. In 2019, 29,628 M/T of Kimchi was exported to 78 countries, and 306,047 M/T was imported, mainly from China. In the future, for the technological upgrading of Kimchi plants, a large capital investment to the production of commercial Kimchi will be required. The accelerated glocalization of Kimchi will bring a steady increase in Kimchi export. Moreover, with the development of global Kimchi culture, the values and images of Korean national brand can be greatly improved.

Analysis and hazard evaluation of heat-transfer fluids for the direct contact cooling system

  • This paper discusses several low-temperature heat-tranfer fluids, including water-based inorganic salt, organic salt, alcohol/glycol mixtures, silicones, and halogenated hydrocarbons in order to choose the best heat-transfer fluid for the newly designed direct contact refrigeration system. So, it contains a survey on commercial products such as propylene glycol and potassium formate as newly used in super market and food processing refrigeration. The stability of commercial fluids at the working temperature of $-20^{\circ}C$ was monitored as a function of time up to two months. And organic and inorganic compositions of candidate fluids were obtained by analytical instruments such as ES, XRF, AAS, ICP-AES, GC, and GC-MS. Analysis results indicate that commercial propylene glycol is very efficient and safe heat transfer fluids for the direct cooling system with liquid phase.

  • This study aims to develop a strategy for South Korean companies to penetrate into the global NPP(nuclear power plant) market with their strength as the sixth biggest nuclear power generator in the world. With 20 nuclear plants in commercial operation and 6 more in construction, South Korea has the best technology in construction and operation of NPP. Despite these capabilities as demonstrated on its domestic market, Korean companies' constraint to enter and play a key role in global NPP market would be the lack of experience in overseas NPP projects, original technologies, and diplomatic effectiveness. This study analyzes the competitiveness of Korean standardized nuclear power plant, construction management skills, construction technologies, manufacturing equipment and materials and operation skills. In this research the current status of existing NPP and the forecast of building NPP according to countries was analyzed in order to work out strategies with technology, cost-effectiveness, and diplomatic consideration.

  • According to the prediction of Aviation Industry Corporation of China, in the next 20 years, China will have an increase of 4,583 civilian airliners, including 3,682 jumbo jets and 901 regional aircrafts. Chinese commercial aviation aircraft market will undoubtedly grow rapidly. until the year 2030, China's share of the global aircraft fleet will increase from 9% to 15%. In addition, the business jet market has a huge growing room in the global industry, the deliveries will reach 10,000 units in the next 10 years, and the Chinese market deliveries will reach 23,600 in the next 20 years. China's aviation market, is and will be enormous in the future. It is one of the main engines of economic growth in the field. China's civil aviation transportation is based on dazzling economic development. Air transport is the fastest growing power for the time being. China's aviation sector will have an average annual gross of about 10%, and more likely to continued growing and it is expected to be world's major aviation market around the world. As the result, since one of future the important industries will be emerged, Air policy enforcement and considering the reality of our future prospects for the airline industry presented.

  • A virtual power plant (VPP) technology is a cluster of distributed generation installations. VPP system is that integrates several types of distributed generation sources, so as to give a reliable overall power supply. Virtual power plant systems play a key role in the smart grids concept and the move towards alternative sources of energy. They ensure improved integration of the renewable energy generation into the grids and the electricity market. VPPs not only deal with the supply side, but also help manage demand and ensure reliability of grid functions through demand response (DR) and other load shifting approaches in real time. In this paper, utilizing a variety of distributed generation resources(such as emergency generator, commercial generator, energy storage device), activation scheme of the virtual power plant technology. In addition, through the analysis of the domestic electricity market, it describes a scheme that can be a virtual power plant to participate in electricity market. It attempts to derive the policy support recommendation in order to obtain the basics to the prepared in position of power generation companies for the commercialization of virtual power plant.

  • The U.S. music market is a lucrative market for many foreign musicians due to its sheer size and it continues to play a leading role in the world music industry. However, it is a challenge to gain entry into that market and an even greater challenge to achieve success and fame within it. In fact, changes in the media paradigm have allowed for musicians to be able to independently produce their own songs and promote them globally. Some scholars address that the media paradigm shifting from traditional outlets to new outlets gives a chance to bypass traditional gatekeepers when entering the U.S. music market. Based on this scenario, this article examined two songs from Korean singer, Psy: Gangnam Style and Gentleman as a single case study. Utilizing Google Trends as a source of information, this study examined how each song's recognition among American music fans was different based on radio spins on Top 40 commercial radio stations. This article sheds new light on radio, which has been neglected due to the media paradigm shift, and presents how radio programmers are part of a complicated gatekeeping process which ultimately decides which songs are to gain popularity.
