Maximum Power Point Tracking Control Scheme for Grid Connected Variable Speed Wind Driven Self-Excited Induction Generator

  • This paper proposes a wind energy conversion system connected to a grid using a self-excited induction generator (SEIG) based on the maximum power point tracking (MPPT) control scheme. The induction generator (IG) is controlled by the MPPT below the base speed and the maximum energy can be captured from the wind turbine. Therefore, the stator currents of the IG are optimally controlled using the indirect field orientation control (IFOC) according to the generator speed in order to maximize the generated power from the wind turbine. The SEIG feeds a (CRPWM) converter which regulates the DC-link voltage at a constant value where the speed of the IG is varied. Based on the IG d-q axes dynamic model in the synchronous reference frame at field orientation, high-performance synchronous current controllers with satisfactory performance are designed and analyzed. Utilizing these current controllers and IFOC, a fast dynamic response and low current harmonic distortion are attained. The regulated DC-link voltage feeds a grid connected CRPWM inverter. By using the virtual flux orientation control and the synchronous frame current regulators for the grid connected CRPWM inverter, a fast current response, low harmonic distortion and unity power factor are achieved. The complete system has been simulated with different wind velocities. The simulation results are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed MPPT control scheme for a wind energy system. In the simulation results, the d-q axes current controllers and DC-link voltage controller give prominent dynamic response in command tracking and load regulation characteristics.

  • This paper presents a new control strategy for the position and force control of flexible manipulators. The governing equation of motion of a two-link flexible manipulator which features piezoceramic actuators bonded on each flexible beam is derived via Hamilton's principle. The control torque of the motor to command desired position and force is determined by a sliding mode controller on the basis of the rigid-mode dynamics. In the controller formulation, the sliding mode controller with perturbation estimation(SMCPE) is adopted to determine appropriate control gains. The SMCPE is then incorporated with the fuzzy technique to mitigate inherent chattering problem while maintaining the stability of the system. A set of fuzzy parameters and control rules are obtained from a relation between estimated perturbation and actual perturbation. During the commanded motion, undesirable oscillation is actively suppressed by applying feedback control voltages to the piezoceramic actuators. These feedback voltages are also determined by the SMCPE. Consequently, accurate force and position control of a two-link flexible manipulator are achieved. Computer simulations are undertaken in order to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control methodology.

국내 고정익 무인항공기 감항인증 기술기준분석 (Airworthiness Standard Analysis about a Korea Fixed Wing Unmanned Aircraft)

  • An unmanned aircraft refers to an aircraft which carries no human pilot and is operated under remote control or in autonomous operational mode. An unmanned aircraft system consist of a one system which include UAV(s), UAV control station and data link, etc. As the UAVs can perform the dull, dangerous and difficult missions, various kinds of UAVs with different sizes and weights have been developed and operated for both civil and military areas. It is important to develop the airworthiness certification criteria of the UAVs to minimize the risks of fatal impacts on human life and environment and to achieve the equivalent level of safety to the manned aircraft. Analysis of the KAS Part 23 and STANAG 4671 can provide guidelines for the generation of the airworthiness certification criteria for the UAVs in civil application.

Performance Analysis And Optimization For AF Two-Way Relaying With Relay Selection Over Mixed Rician And Rayleigh Fading

  • In this paper, we analyze the performance of an amplify-and-forward (AF) two-way relaying system, where two sources exchange information via the aid of an intermediate relay that is selected among multiple relays according to max-min criterion. We consider a practical scenario, where one source-relay link undergoes Rician fading, and the other source-relay link is subject to Rayleigh fading. To be specific, we derive a tight lower bound for the outage probability. From this lower bound, the asymptotic outage probability and average symbol error rate (SER) expressions are derived to gain insight into the system performance at high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) region. Furthermore, we investigate the optimal power allocation (PA) with fixed relay location (RL), optimal RL with fixed PA and joint optimization of PA and RL to minimize the outage probability and average SER. The analytical expressions are verified through Monte Carlo simulations, where the positive impact of Rician factor on the system performance is also illustrated. Simulation results also validate the effectiveness of the proposed PA and relay positioning schemes.

CLIP 기반의 한국형 합동전술데이터링크 체계 개발 (Development of Korean Joint Tactical Data Link System Based on CLIP)

  • 한국군의 효과적인 합동작전 수행을 위한 감시 정찰 정보 및 공통상황인식의 필요하다. 실시간으로 합동전력간 전술정보를 공유하기 위한 한국형 합동전술데이터링크 체계는 기본형(1단계)에서 음성위주의 기존 무전기를 활용하여 필수 전술정보와 상황인식 공유를 제공한다. 완성형(2단계)은 기본형의 기술개발과 상용기술 성숙도를 고려하여 네트워크 중심의 전쟁수행이 가능한 합동데이터링크를 개발할 예정이다. 이는 연합작전 및 합동작전에 참가하는 전력들간에 효과적인 지휘통제를 제공하여 동시성 통합성의 전투력 발휘가 가능한 합동전장체계이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 CLIP 기반의 공통 데이터 처리기의 성능이 구현된 한국형 합동전술데이터링크의 체계개발을 제시한다. 현재 개발중인 시스템의 시험 결과, QPSK 방식의 변조 신호를 사용한 경우 기존 무전기의 수신감도를 만족하여 시스템 구현시 적용 가능함을 확인할 수 있다.

  • Subway is working in the construction of station and wayside equipment which was controlled by central and local control operating system for more efficient management. Traffic controlled by functional integration to be interlocked but each part is constructed and operated individually that is not efficient. Therefore, this paper offer to plan of integrating central and local system in one place of each feild. Functional integration plan will help central and local system to link strengthening. This is also offering to integrating central of an officer in command and integrating local of control station and office.

  • Recently, the high performance of tactical situation display console and tactical data links are used to integrate the operational situations in accordance with information age and NCW (Network Centric Warfare). The tendency to maximize the efficiency of task execution has been developed by sharing information and the state of the battle quickly through complex and diverse information exchange. Tactical data link is a communication system that shares the platform with core components of weapons systems and battlefield situation between the command and control systems to perform a Network Centric Warfare and provides a wide range of tactical data required for decision-making and implementation.It provides the tactical information such as tactical information such as operational information, the identification of the peer, and the target location in real time or near real time in the battlefield situation, and it is operated for the exchange of mass tactical information between the intellectuals by providing common situation recognition and cooperation with joint operations. In this study, still image management, audio file management, tactical screen recording and playback using the storage and playback, NITF (National Imagery Transmission Format) message received from the displayer integrates the tactical situation in three dimensions according to multiple data link operation to suggest ways to ensure data integrity between the data link processor during the entire operation time.

비가입형 TDL 메시지 분석기에 관한 연구 (A Study on Non-participating TDL Message Analyzer)

  • 현재 미래전은 신속한 전투상황 공유 및 정확한 전투지휘/통제를 통한 네트워크 중심전 양상을 나타내며, 다양한 전술 데이터링크(Tactical Data Link, TDL)에서 전술메시지가 운용되고 있다. 데이터 링크 처리기(Data Link Processor, DLP)가 처리하는 TDL 메시지를 모니터링하기 위해, 메시지 분석기는 일반적으로 시스템 개발 중에 하나의 구성품으로 개발된다. 또한 DLP가 처리하는 TDL 메시지를 메시지 분석기로 전달하기 위해 DLP와 메시지 분석기 사이의 인터페이스 메시지는 인터페이스 규격(Interface Control Documents, ICD)에 정의되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 DLP와 직접 통신하지 않고 DLP로 전달되는 TDL 계층에서 제공하는 UDP 또는 TCP 패킷을 이용한 방법을 제시한다. JREAP-C와 같은 전술데이터 응용메시지 표준의 헤더정보를 이용, 수집된 패킷을 대상으로 후보패킷을 빠르게 필터링하고, 헤더에 포함된 전체 데이터 크기 정보를 이용하여, 완성된 메시지를 검증한다. 기존 방법은 시스템 구성 및 ICD에 반영되어야 하는 제약사항이 존재하지만, 본 논문에서 제안한 방법은 DLP와 직접 통신하지 않기 때문에 기존 방법이 갖는 제약사항 없이 JREAP-C, Link-K와 같은 전술데이터 응용 메시지를 분석하는 것이 가능하다.

다중 입출력 시스템을 위한 음의 입력다듬기 기법의 개발 (Development of negative Input Shaping Technique for MIMO System)

  • In this paper, we propose a method to apply the Input Shaping Technique (IST) to multi-input multi-output (MIMO) systems. In MIMO systems, there is a high possibility of multi-mode residual vibration. The IST filter designed for this multi mode may need a longer time to suppress the residual vibration. Previous works prove that we can shorten the time lag by using negative sequence. This negative sequence, however, causes another problem - it requires excessive control input. In this paper, we provide a remedy to reduce the size of control input by limiting the reference input by limiting the reference input and its derivative. The result of simulations and experiments on a 2 link flexible arm confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed method.

  • 군 지휘통신용 네트워크 구조에서 전략제대 통신 기반체계는 발전 방향, 전략 제대 및 회선의 특성과 생존성을 고려할 때 다양한 통신방식의 이원화된 망 구조를 요구한다. 무선방식에서는 MicroWave가 대표적인데 기존의 기술만으로 운용하고 있어 비효율적이라는 지적이 제기되고 있다. 따라서, MW전송시스템 구조 및 효율화 방안과 이에 대한 효과 분석이 필요하다. 기존 전략제대 MW전송시스템에서는 고정된 형태의 접속 구조로 무선 환경을 고려한 효율적인 전송이 어렵다. 적응 변조로 개선이 가능하지만 기존의 접속 구조와 고정된 대역폭으로는 한계가 있다. 이전 연구에서의 가용도와 링크 거리를 고려한 전송 성능 향상 기법에 이어 본 논문에서는 적응 변조 기반 가변 전송 웨이브폼, 대역폭, 거리 변수를 고려하여 개선된 패킷화된 MW전송시스템 구조와 가변 대역폭 전송에 대해 제시하고 가용도와 가변 대역폭 전송 성능 효과에 대해 전략 제대와 지휘 통제 회선을 고려하여 분석을 수행하였다.
