모형 연소실내 음향 감쇠를 위한 반파장 공명기의 설계에 관한 연구 (On Design of Half-Wave Resonators for Acoustic Damping in a Model Combustion Chamber)

  • 로켓엔진 연소기의 음향 안정성 향상을 위해 고안된 반파장 공명기의 음향학적 설계를 실험적으로 연구하였다. 표준 음향시험 절차에 따라 음향파 응답 신호가 측정되었다. 신호를 토대로, 감쇠인자와 흡음계수가 정량적으로 평가되었고, 이로부터 공명기의 음향감쇠 성능을 파악하였다. 공명기의 직경과 개수, 분포가 공명기의 설계 인자로 채택되었다. 직경이 증가함에 따라 음향감쇠 효과가 증가하였다. 경계흡수 계수가 감소함에 따라 최적 공명기 개수가 감소함을 알았다. 공명기의 open-area 비가 최적값을 초과할 때 과감쇠가 발생하였고, 이로 인해 음향 감쇠 효과가 저하됨을 관찰하였다.

  • Off-design experimental performance was investigated for a small centrifugal compressor, whose impeller diameter is about 125mm, used in an industrial gas turbine. Test rig was designed and manufactured with a radial inflow turbine and a combustor to supply driving power to the compressor. Static pressure was measured on the casing of the impeller, vaneless diffuser, vaned diffuser and volute. Total pressure was obtained using specially fabricated rakes at the vaned diffuser throat and exit. Circumferential nonuniformity was found, near surge, in the Impeller, vaned diffuser and volute region. Spanwise nonuniform flow from the impeller affected the total pressure defects in the vaned diffuser region. Static pressure distortion in the circumferential direction in the volute was found near surge, where the minimum occurred near 140 degree position.

  • This study concerns a large eddy simulation (LES) of turbulent flow around a bluff body inside a sudden expansion cylindrical chamber, a configuration which resembles a premixed gas turbine combustor The simulation code is constructed by using the general coordinate system based on the physical contravariant velocity components. The Smagorinsky model is employed and the calculated Reynolds number is 5,000 based on the bulk velocity and the diameter of the inlet pipe. The combined grid technique and cylindrical grid are tested in the numerical simulation with complex geometry. The predicted turbulent statistics are evaluated by comparing with LDV measurement data. The numerical flow visualizations depict the behavior of turbulent mixing process behind the flame holder.

  • 다공배플을 가진 마이크로연소기에 레이놀즈응력 난류모형을 이용하여 난류유동 및 혼합특성에 대한 수치해석 연구를 수행하였다. 다공배플은 연소실 내부에 다수의 3차원 와유동을 발생시키는 기하학적 특징을 가지고 있다. 그러한 형상특징 중에서 배플두께를 변화시킬 경우 와유동구조의 다양한 변화가 얻어졌다. 여러 와유동중에서 연료유동으로부터 생성된 와유동은 혼합도 증가에 결정적 역할을 하였다. 연소실 내부의 3차원 와유동구조는 배플두께 변화에 따른 유동의 발달상태에 의존하였다. 특히, 배플두께가 연료유입구 직경보다 작을수록 배플구멍 제트유동의 속도분포는 포물선형태에서 안장모양의 형태로 변하였다. 연소실내부의 재순환영역크기 및 혼합도는 이러한 제트유동구조에 밀접한 상관관계를 가졌다.

  • 유동층 연소 방식의 화력발전소에서 발생된 석탄 비산재를 점토와 혼합하여 8 mm 크기의 구형 성형체를 제조한 후, $1050^{\circ}C{\sim}1250^{\circ}C$에서 10분 직화 소성하여 인공골재를 제조하고, 골재의 발포특성에 미치는 비산재의 영향을 분석하였다. 비산재가 50 wt% 미만으로 첨가원 시편은 발포되면서 black-coring 현상을 나타내었다. 비산재가 50 wt% 이상 포함되면, 소성온도와 함께 골재의 부피비중이 높아지면서 시편 전체가 검은색으로 변하였다. 이는 미연탄소 함량의 증가로 인해 과도한 환원분위기가 형성되고 따라서 가스가 급속히 방출됨과 동시에 대부분의 산화철이 환원되기 때문이다. 소성온도가 같을 경우 비산재 함유량이 높을수록 골재의 부피비중은 낮아지는 경향을 보였다. 비산재 첨가량이 10 wt%인 경우를 제외한 모든 시편들은 소성 온도를 높이면 홉수율이 감소하였는데 이는 고온일수록 액상이 많이 형성되었기 때문이다. 본 연구에서 제조된 유통층 연소기 석탄 비산재에 점토가 10~90 wt% 첨가된 시편들은 부피비중이 0,9~1.8, 흡수율이 8~60%로 다양한 특성을 나타내어 중량 내지 경량골재로 사용이 가능할 것으로 생각된다.

유동층 연소로에서 유.무연탄 혼합 연소법을 이용한 국내산 저질 무연탄의 활용에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Use of Low-Grade Domestic Anthracite by Anthracite - Bituminous Coal Blend Combustion in a Fluidized Bed Combustor)

  • It has been studded that combustion and the production of air pollution of anthracite - bituminous coal blend In a fluidized bed coal combustor, The objects of thIns study were to investigate mixing characteristics of the particles as well as the combustibility of the low grade domestic anthracite coal and Imported h19h calorific bltununous coal in the fluidized bed coal combustor. They were used as coal samples ; the domestic low grade anthracite coal with heating value of 2,010kca1/kg and the Imported high grade bituminous coal with beating value of 6,520kca1/kg. Also, the effects of air flow rate and anthracite fraction on the reaching time of steady state condition have been studied. The experimental results are presented as follows. The time of reaching to steady state was affected by the temperature variation. The steady state time was about 120 minute at 300sc1h which was the fastest. It has been found that $O^2$ and $CO^2$ concentration were reached steady state at about 100 minute. It has been found that $O^2$ concentration decreased and $CO^2$ concentration increased as the height of fluidlzed bed Increased. It was found that splash zone was mainly located from 25cm to 35cm above distributor. Also, as anthracite traction Increased, the mass of elutrlatlon particles Increased, and $CO^2$ concentration decreased. As gk flow rate Increased,$O^2$ concentration decreased and $CO^2$ concentration increased. Regardless of anthracite fraction and flow rate, the uncombustible weight percentage according to average diameter of elutriation particles were approldmately high In the case of One Particles. As anthracite traction and k now rate Increased, elutriation ratio Increased. As anthracite fraction was increased, exit combustible content over feeding combustible content was Increased. Regardless of anthracite fraction, size distribution of Ued material from discharge was almost constant. Over bed temperature 85$0^{\circ}C$ and excess air 20% , the difference of combution efficiencies were little. It is estimate that the combustion condition In anthracite-bituminous coal blend combustion is suitable at the velocity 0.3m/s, bed temperature 85$0^{\circ}C$, the excess air 20%.

유동층 연소로에서 진동형 공급기의 고체혼합 및 충전물에 대한 압력요동 특성 (The Characteristics of Solid Mixing in a Vibrating Type Feeder and Pressure Fluctuation of Packing Materials for a Fluidized Bed Combustor)

  • This study attempts to analyse the solid mixing in the feeder and the packing effect for pressure fluctuations in the fluidized bed. To study the mixing characteristics of solid in vibrating feeder for the stable operations of fluidized combustion, the system consisted of two groups of particles such that fine particles were located on the top of the coarse particles before vibratory mixing had started. The effects of packing materials on the pressure fluctuations in a fluidized bed were analysed by using a statistical method to interpret the behavior of fluidized bed. The experiments were carried out in a fluidized bed of 6.7cm-ID, and the experimental variables were particle sizes, of 115 to 1,015$\mu\textrm{m}$ in diameter and the multi-sized particles haying Rosin-Rammler and Gaussian distributions. The settled bed heights of particles to diameter ratios (L/D) were ranged from 0.5 to 2.0. And fluidizing of particles was carried out by air. The packing materials used were screen packing, and the properties of the pressure fluctuations in the fluidized bed were measured by a differential pressure transducer. The properties of the pressure fluctuations calculated were the mean, the standard deviation, and the major frequency of the power spectral density functions. From the characteristics of fluidizing, it was found that the standard deviation of pressure fluctuations could be effectively used to explain the fluidized phenomena, and the packing materials affected severely the properties of the pressure fluctuations. As a result, from the interpretation by spectral analysis, the effects of measuring radius of pressure fluctuations on standard deviation were constant in the case of the fluidized bed with and without packing materials. However, the effects of measuring the height of pressure fluctuations on standard deviations were linear increasing for the fluidized bed with packing materials, but were constant for the fluidized bed without packing materials at 4.5cm above the gas distributor. The major frequency of pressure fluctuations was found to be nearly independent of fluidized system. Also, the major frequency of pressure fluctuations decreased with increasing packing size, and it had maximum value at 10% of the packing amount.

제전사여과포의 개발 및 기초성능 규명 (Development and Basic Performance Characterization of Neutralized Fabric Filter)

  • 폴리에스터와 스테인레스스틸섬유를 재료로 제조된 제전사여과포에 대한 물리화학적 특성시험 및 여과포성능 기초시험을 수행하였다. 실험용먼지로 제철.제강, 시멘트제조, 열공급시설 및 폐기물공정에서 채취된 먼지를 처리하여 사용하였다. 제전사여과포의 물리화학적 특성 실험에서는 산성분위기하에서 인장강도 및 초기탄성계수변화를 조사하였고, Automated Permporometer를 이용하여 평균흐름세공압력, 기포점 세공지름, 평균흐름세공지름 및 세공크기분포를 구하였다. 또한 벤처규모의 여과포 기초성능 시험장치를 이용하여 먼지부하에 따른 압력손실, 먼지통과율 및 여과포성능 평가지표를 산출하였다. 산성가스 및 분위기하에서 제전사여과포의 인장강도는 온도 및 노출시간과 깊은 관련이 있었다. 압력손실은 여과속도와 먼지부하가 증가함에 따라 증가하였으며 증가형태는 먼지의 종류에 따라 달랐다. 먼지 통과율은 먼지종류에 관계없이 먼지부하의 증가에 따라 급격히 감소하는 경향을 나타내었다. 여과포성능지표는 먼지 포집 초기에는 증가했다가 급격히 감소하여 일정하게 유지되었다.

내열성여과포의 개발 및 기초성능 규명 (Development and Characterization of High Temperature Filter)

  • 산업용 직물여과포의 운전에서 발견되는 다양한 문제점들을 해결하기 위한 일환으로 내열성여과포를 개발하여 성능을 규명하였다. 국내 산업체에서 배출되는 대표적인 네 종류의 먼지들, 즉 제철공정의 코크먼지, 시멘트 제조업체의 시멘트 먼지, 유동층 연소로의 비산회재, 그리고 폐플라스틱 소각로의 연소재에 대하여 여과포의 성능을 시험하였다. 내열성여과포의 물리화학적 특성은 평균 세공흐름압력 및 기포점 세공지름, 평균흐름 세공지름, 세공크기분포, SO2 및 NO2 분위기에서의 물성변화의 항목으로 평가 되었다. 또한, 벤치규모의 필터시험장치에서 직물여과포에 대한 압력손실, 먼지 통과율, 여과포 성능 평가지수를 조사하였다. 본 연구에서 개발된 직물여과포는 양호한 물리화학적 필터 특성을 지니고 있으며 전형적인 산업체 먼지를 처리하는데 적합하였다.

가스터빈 연소실 냉각을 위한 충돌제트/유출냉각기법에서 사각핀 설치에 따른 열/물질전달 특성 (Heat/Mass Transfer Characteristics in Impingement/Effusion Cooling System with Rectangular Fins for Combustor Liner Cooling)

  • The present study has been performed to investigate the influences of rectangular fins on heat transfer in an impingement/effusion cooling system with crossflow. To simulate the impingement/effusion cooling system with initial crossflow, two perforated plates are placed in parallel and staggered arrangements with a gap distance of 2 times of the hole diameter. The crossflow passes between the plates, and various rectangular fins are installed on the plates. Reynolds number based on the hole diameter is fixed to 10,000 and the flow rate of crossflow is changed from 0.5 to 1.5 times of that of the impinging jet. A naphthalene sublimation method is used to obtain the heat/mass transfer coefficients on the effusion plate. Also to analyze the flow characteristics, a numerical calculation is performed. When rectangular fins are installed, the flow and heat transfer pattern is changed greatly from the case without fins. In the injection hole region, the jet impinges on effusion plate without deflection and wall jet spreads symmetrically. In the effusion region, the crossflow accelerates due to the decrease of cross-sectional area in the channel. Local heat/mass transfer coefficients are enhanced significantly compared to the case without fins. As the blowing ratio increases, the effect of rectangular fins against the crossflow becomes more significant and then the higher average heat/mass transfer coefficients are obtained than the case without fins. However, the increase of blockage effect gives more pressure loss in the channel.
