Study on quality characteristics of fish paste containing Curcuma aromatica powder (강황 분말을 첨가한 어묵의 품질 특성 연구)

  • This study was conducted to promote the utilization of fish paste with 0, 2, 3, and 4% added Curcuma aromatica powder. The moisture, crude protein, crude lipid, and crude ash contents of the used Curcuma aromatica powder were 11.15, 6.25, 2.36, and 9.98%, respectively. For the Hunter color values, the L, a values of the fish paste decreased with increasing concentrations of Curcuma aromatica powder, while the b values appreciated. In the folding test, whose results reveal the flexibility of the fish paste, all the test samples showed AA results. In the texture meter test, the hardness, cohesiveness, and springiness increased with increasing concentrations of Curcuma aromatica powder, but the gumminess and brittleness of the fish paste were reduced. In the sensory evaluation, the color and taste of the fish paste with 3% added Curcuma aromatica powder were preferred over those of the other fish pastes. These results suggest that Curcuma aromatica powder can be applied to fish paste to achieve high quality and functionality.

  • This study was conducted to promote the utilization of fish paste containing four different amounts (0%: control, 2, 4, and 6%) of cheonggukjang powder. For Hunter color values, L values of samples decreased as concentration of cheonggukjang powder increased, and a and b values increased. Folding tests for all samples showed good flexibility. In the texture meter test, hardness, cohesiveness, and springiness increased according to increasing concentrations of cheonggukjang powder. However, gumminess and brittleness of fish paste were reduced upon addition of cheonggukjang powder. In the sensory evaluation, fish paste prepared with 2% cheonggukjang powder was more preferred over other fish pastes. This study suggests that addition of 2% cheonggukjang powder to fish paste could be a good way to increase cheonggukjang powder without decreasing texture acceptability.

  • This paper study on OLEDs(Organic Light Emitting Diodes) panel using PLD(Pulsed Laser Deposition) methode. Deposition of organic was used Q-stitched Nd/YAG laser in 355 nm and reduced organic pellet for PLD method. Organic morphology was measured AFM(Atomic Forced Microscope) and emitting efficiency was measured luminance meter.

A Kind of Digital Intelligent System for the Ink Hue Analysis

  • This paper introduces a kind of new ink hue analysis system (HAS) based on the model-distinguishing technology and briefly casts light on the principle of the analysis. Also, it stresses the hardware structure, the software designing methods and programming procedure of the HAS as well as its interface. And the simulation result of the experiment data was given. The study shows that this kind of system can help to improve the color arrangements and managements of ink. The accuracy has reached ${\pm}0.5%$ compared with high precision density meter.

  • In oriental medicine, diagnostic method was the four examination(四診) which was composed of inspection(望診), inquiring(問診), listening and smelling(聞診), palpation(切診). Inspection of skin color(望色) indicated the observation of patient's complexion(色診). In oriental medical theory, complexion of face was related to meridians(經絡) and zang-fu(贓腑). The change of complexion was reflected the ups and downs of qi(氣) and blood(血), the relative seriousness of an illness. especially, observation of complexion was essential in children, because of diagnostic difficulty and positive change according to each disease. The purpose of this study was to construct for standard measurement and invent for computerizing diagnostic system which was based on observation of complexion. It was objectively measured complexion using spectrophotometer and chroma meter. Measurement of complexion should make an offer the index of diagnosis.

  • P/2010 A2, a main-belt asteroid having comet-like dust trail was discovered in January 2010, but the origin of the trail is controversial. Moreno et al. (2010) reported water-ice sublimation as a mechanism for the comet-like activity, whereas other researches (Jewitt et al. 2010; Snodgrass et al. 2010) stated that impact collision contributed to the dust trail. For asteroids are categorized based on spectral shape, optical observation using different color filters makes it possible to determine the taxonomic type of P/2010 A2 nucleus, thus gives an answer to the question of activation mechanism of the object. In this presentation, we report multiband observation of P/2010 A2 in January and March 2010 with 1-meter telescope of Ishigaki-Jima Astronomical Observatory. We employed three broadband filters of g', Rc, and Ic. In this presentation, we focus on the data acquisition, the reduction and the derivation of the reflectance spectrum of debris in the trail. Finally we discuss the potential cause of dust ejection from this asteroid.

  • After end of the 20th environmental problem was became issue. So about mercury free lighting sources are being studied very much. In this paper, a mercury and electrode free bulb was designed. in this bulb was injected mixed of Xe, Ne and Kr Gases. and then the bulb was discharged by 13.56MHz RF Power after spectrum, color coordinates and brightness were measured by spectrum meter CS-1000. Measured results were compared and analyzed, also analysis was able to do a characteristic of a gas defensive fight in proportion to a mixing ratio. Therefore the most of high brightness which was 4500cd/m2 was gained in 1:1 ratio of Xe:Ne at 60W input power.

  • 본 논문에서는 안면 색 비교 분석을 위한 방법 및 시스템을 제안 한다. 안면 색 비교 분석은 의료 및 여러 분야에서 요구가 증가 하고 있으나 현재 개발되어 있는 시스템은 거의 없는 실정이다. 이에 안면색 비교 분석 시스템의 개발을 통해 여러 분야에 있어 활용이 가능할 것으로 사료 된다. 이는 각 분야에서 실험 전 후의 안면 영상 비교에 있어 활용도가 높으며, 특히 한의학의 진단법 중 망진의 색진을 위한 안면 색 분석에 있어 효율적인 분석을 행 할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

Research on the Quality Properties of Olive Oils Available in Korea (국내 유통되는 올리브오일의 품질특성 실태조사)

  • An investigation of various olive oils available in Korea was carried out to assess their quality properties such as color, oxidative stability, fatty acid composition, tocopherol content, sterol content and benzo(a)pyrene content. In color measurement, by using a Lovibond color scale and Hunter color difference meter, both a and b values of extra virgin olive oil were higher than those of pure olive oil by Tintometer (Lovibond PFX995). However, extra virgin olive oil showed higher a value and lower L value than pure olive oil by the Hunter color difference meter. In the rancimat test, the induction period of extra virgin olive oil $(38.03{\sim}8.47hr)$ was longer than that of pure olive oil $(32.40{\sim}9.94hr)$. In fatty acid composition, C18:1 $(72.01{\sim}78.53wt%)$ was present in the greatest amount, with lesser amounts of C18:2 $(4.88{\sim}10.36wt%)$ and C18:3 $(0.56{\sim}1.09wt%)$. The tocopherol content ranged from ${\alpha}-Toc\;4.09{\sim}13.89mg/100g$, ${\beta}-Toc\;0.57{\sim}1.34mg/100g$, and ${\gamma}-Toc$ $3.41{\sim}8.03mg/100g$, and ${\alpha}-tocopherol$ was found to be the main isomer in all oil samples. Therefore, there was little difference in the fatty acid composition and tocopherol content among the different types of olive oils. In sterol content, ${\beta}-sitosterol$ $(124.52{\sim}19.33mg/100g)$ and campesterol $(1.10{\sim}0.62mg/100g)$ of extra virgin olive oil were higher than that of pure olive oil $({\beta}-sitosterol\;92.68{\sim}17.44mg/100g,\;campesterol\;0.59{\sim}0.35mg/100g)$. Benzo(a)pyrene was found in almost all samples, with $0.287{\sim}0.106{\mu}g/kg$ in extra virgin olive oil and $1.204{\sim}2.130{\mu}g/kg$ in pure olive oil.

  • The quality of agricultural products is very important factor for consumers. In Japan, quality is sometimes more important than cost. Usually, the quality of fresh food products is determined in terms of shape, color, size, etc. However, these indices are not always associated with taste, leaving consumers to complain. Recently, two types of the fruit quality meter (a tabletop type - K-FS200 and a portable type - K-BA100, Kubota Corp.) using NIR technology were introduced in Japan. A tabletop instrument is for post harvest use and a portable one is for precision agriculture use. The both meters use the NIR region from 600nm to 1000nm in the interactance mode to determine quality factors related to taste. The instruments can measure sugar content and acidity of such fruit as apples, tomatoes, tangerines and other fruits. The measurement is timely, nondestructive and precise. For example, the coefficient of variation (CV) is less than 6% for sugar in most fruits. The K-FS200 has been evaluated in supermarkets, grading facilities, and wholesalers in Japan. The introduction of the K-FS200) has drawn attention to taste quality and its use is becoming more popular. In addition, researchers or farmers are becoming interested in measuring product ingredient not only after harvest but also during growing in the field so that they can make intelligent judgements concerning soil amendments, such as fertilizers and water, employs the fiber probe for flexible measurement and is battery powered for field use. Design of the fruit quality meters will be discussed. Applications to fruit quality will be presented.
