The purpose of this study was to characterize the effect of Net fashion value regarding to the factors of purchase-decision at internet shopping mall and the preference for fashion design. The subjects for this sample survey, were junior high school and university students who had dwelled at pusan and ulsan in south korea. This study had 824 samples of each aged from 13 to 24 who had purchasing ability of fashion apparels at the interned shopping mal1. The sampling data in this survey was analyzed by frequency analysis, factor analysis, T-test, LSD-test, MANOVA and ANOVA of SPSS WIN package. The results of this study was as follows; 1. It was proved that advertising, pursuit of services and products, pursuit of information were considered first from Net generations fashion value. Next things were perception of danger and pursuit of convenience. It was proved that they considered it important A/S, recall, exchange and post management. 2. It was proved that there was difference at the preference for fashion design of according to Net generations fashion value. Color was considered to be the most important one. 3. Men had higher political value than women and 1318 teenagers had higher fashion value than semi-adult. Under high school educational course Net generation had more theoretical value than above university educational course Net generation did. Also, with the factor of average monthly income, political value was considered to be the most important. People whose monthly expenditure on purchase was above 50,000 won had higher social value than people whose expenditure was under 50,000 won but under 50,000 won had higher political value than above 50,000 won did.
Long time ultrasound scan can cause a temperature rise in human tissue and affect the physical body. This is closely connected with patients' safety. So many researchers have been studied on this matter with animals such as mammals and experimental rat, because diagnostic ultrasound has been used many types of human organ to find disease. Therefore, this study is tested on bean sprouts to search how far the tissue temperature changes because of the excessive scanning consequence from ultrasound diagnosis and frequent number of ultrasonic scanning and how much affect their growth. The United States and several European countries have restrictions for number of scanning, while South Korea does not have any limitation for using ultrasound diagnosis. Comparison was that how different condition affect its' growing. The testing group is like many pregnancy moms to have 50 minutes in B-mode and color doppler mode by linear, convex and sector probe every day for a week and the other is to scan only once during the testing period. As a result, it was confirmed that there was a significant growing difference on frequent ultrasonic scanning group compared to normal one. So the final conclusion is that there needs to have a significant limitation of ultrasound scan time and a number of inspection when having for diagnostic ultrasound and recommendation like USA and a few European countries.
The main purposes of this study is to evaluate clothing behaviors according to cosmetic surgery parts and to research how the clothing style preference is expressed depending on each clothing behavior group. This study focuses on women in their 20s and 30s living in Seoul and Gyeonggi area whom have cosmetic surgery experiences. From the women being evaluated, the following groups are divided and then surveyed with equal frequency and ratio: 'facial surgery', 'face contour surgery', 'breast surgery', and 'body figure revision'. When comparing the changes in clothing style preferences before and after the cosmetic surgery, they prefer silhouettes which show body shapes, diversity of color tones, and more overall exposing preferences. After investigating the preferred clothing styles based on cosmetic surgery parts, it is being analyzed that body exposure is more aggressively expressed upon after taking the surgery because the self satisfaction is increased according to the changes in their body shapes after the surgery. Lastly, after looking into the cosmetic surgery and the clothing preferences styles of each clothing behavior group, there seems to be more breast surgeries and body figure revisions for aggressive and extroverted characters: the sex-appeal and mood switching type. It is also being analyzed that facial surgeries are more common in the passive group: information collection, trend alignment, and beauty preference. Such results are also reflected in clothing preferences styles: the biggest change is shown in the aggressive and extroverted group, the sex-appeal types.
This study tries to search and analyze empirically the clothing merchandise purchase motivation and behavior made by foreign visitors who bought clothes as tour memorials in South Korea. To make a empirical study we made survey research and evaluated 30 items for the survey of clothing purchase motivation and 25 items for the survey of the importance and satisfaction revealed at the time of purchase with the standard of Likert 5 point. We had chosen 614 sample participants including 176 English speakers, 211 Japanese speakers, and 277 Chinese speakers among those foreign tourists who had purchased clothing materials at the Dongdaemun Shopping Mall. The result of analysis is as follows : As the result of factor analysis about the clothing merchandise purchase, we had 6 factors. They are (1)impulse, (2)utility, (3)fashionableness, (4)tour commemoration (5)psychology (6)economy. As the result of cluster analysis based on the standard of selected 6 factors of clothing merchandise purchase motivation, we could divide three groups such as (1)the pursuit type of clothing merchandise purchase, (2)the pursuit type of recreation of feeling (3)the pursuit type of tour memorial. As the result of analysis on the items of purchased clothing merchandise, the highest frequency of purchase was made by T-shirt, then by the order of sweater, blouse, and aloha shirt, pants, and jacket. In regard to the importance of items related to clothing merchandise, the highest importance was made by design, then by the order of price, size, color and utility, and style. In regard to the items related to the service of shopping mall, the highest satisfaction was made by the convenience of business hour. Meanwhile, the lowest satisfaction was made by the inconvenience of fitting room, the speaking and by ability of foreign languages by sales agents.
The purpose of this study is to classify the fashion images on sportive style, to find out the difference between the image of sportive style which consumers prefer and the image of sportive style which they want to show and, finally, to analyze their purchase behavior. This research is done with survey method. The subjects of the survey are 835 females in their twenties or their thirties in Pusan area. The data are analyzed with factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha, $X^2$-test, and frequency analysis. The results of this study are as follows: first, sportive style is classified into Sexy, Romantic, Active and Modem image. Second, the results of analysis on consumers' preferring image and their wanting-to-show image to the above-mentioned image classification are as follows: firstly, the subjects' most preferring image and the image which they most want to show is Modem in1age. The second is Sexy image. But the subjects preferred having Modem image. Secondly, consumers' Individuality and apparel's Function are the important reasons to choose the sportive style. Thirdly, Modem image is the most preferred in the images of street wear. Sexy image and Active image are the preferred in the images of sports wear. Third, It is a vivid tone and a dark tone that is the color tone of sportive wear which consumers prefer. They prefer a logo- patterned sports wear, too. The consumers obtain most information on sports wear from sports wear stores. Silhouette is the most decisive design element in consumers' purchasing. The sports wear brands which the subjects prefer are Adidas and Nike.

From 51 monographs of case record in Qing Dynasty, we chose 29 monographs in which tongue diagnosis applied to Warm disease. Then extracted all the case records and got 488 cases from them. In according to the classification of tongue diagnosis in teaching material of TCM diagnosis of higher TCM schools education, we had a statistic analysis on the 488 cases. Results show that the recording rate of tongue coating was highest, 65.16%. From high to low sequentially, the frequency of different fur was yellow fur, white fur and black fur. During $1850{\sim}1911$ of Qing Dynasty, the description of tongue coating changed that the proportion of white fur, yellow fur and compound fur was increased. On the contrary, the proportion of black fur was decreased. The recording rate of the color of tongue was 23.16%, in which the rate of red tongue and crimson tongue were higher. The recording rate of fur character was 37.7%. During $1850{\sim}1911$ of Qing Dynasty, the recording rate of greasy fur was increased to the first. The application of tongue diagnosis involves the warm-heat species of Warm Disease, damp-heat species of Warm Disease and pestilence.
Video objects of interest play an important role in representing the video content and are useful for improving the performance of video retrieval and compression. The objects of interest may be a main object in describing contents of a video shot or a core object that a video producer wants to represent in the video shot. We know that any object attracting one's eye much in the video shot may not be an object of interest and a non-moving object may be an object of interest as well as a moving one. However it is not easy to define an object of interest clearly, because procedural description of human interest is difficult. In this paper, a set of four filtering conditions for extracting moving objects of interest is suggested, which is defined by considering variation of location, size, and moving pattern of moving objects in a video shot. Non-moving objects of interest are also defined as another set of four extracting conditions that are related to saliency of color/texture, location, size, and occurrence frequency of static objects in a video shot. On a test with 50 video shots, the segmentation method based on the two sets of conditions could extract the moving and non-moving objects of interest chosen manually on accuracy of 84%.

In this paper, we present research results of developing high performance scan conversion unit and implementing it on FPGA chip. To increase performance of scan conversion unit, we propose an architecture of scan converter that is a SIMD architecture and uses tile-based traversing method. The proposed scan conversion unit can operate about 124Mhz clock frequency on Xilinx Vertex4 LX100 device. To verify the scan conversion unit, we also develop shader unit, texture mapping unit and $240{\times}320$ color TFT-LCD controller to display outputs of the scan conversion unit on TFT-LCD. Because the scan conversion unit implemented on FPGA has 311Mpixels/sec pixel rate, it is applicable to desktop pc's 3d graphics system as well as mobile 3d graphics system needing high pixel rates.

Background: Skin self-examination (SSE) may facilitate early diagnosis of melanoma at a potentially curable stage. Little data are available concerning the SSE frequency and knowledge about the symptoms of melanoma in non-patient populations. The aim of our study was to assess the performance of skin self-examination, recognition of potential melanoma symptoms as well as behavior related to sun exposure among web users in Poland. Materials and Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted among readers of a scientific portal. Invited respondents were asked to complete an online questionnaire. Finally, statistical analysis was conducted on 4,919 surveys towards potential clinical signs of melanoma and SSE performance. Results: Approximately 60% of respondents had ever performed SSE in their life. Only 18.4 % declared performance on a regular, monthly, basis. Factors promoting this activity were established to be bigger place of residence, higher education and sensitive skin phototype, higher level of knowledge concerning melanoma, safe tanning rules and, especially, past surgical excision of naevi. Declared longer use of tanning beds was linked to understanding better the importance of clinical features of melanoma. Awareness of hazardous behavior during sunbathing is associated with the attempts to change them. Conclusions: Regular SSE is not a common practice, whilst the knowledge about the clinical features of melanoma is varied. Therefore, constant pressure should be put on promotion of regular skin self-examination and teaching its proper techniques, including familiarity with the ABCD (asymmetry; border; color; diameter) rule and its extension of "EFG" (elevated, firm, progressive growth) criteria.
Objectives: Ultraviolet (UV) radiation may cause skin cancer, photo-ageing, erythema, and sunburn. Benzophenone (BP) is commonly used to protect skin from UV radiation. In Korea, sunscreen, sunblock, socalled 'blemish balm' (BB) and 'color correcting' (CC) creams, and foundation may contain from 0.5 to 5% benzophenone in order to protect skin from UV radiation. The purpose of this study is to understand the levels of benzophenone derivatives in urine among a group of university students and identify the contribution of cosmetics use. Methods: Forty volunteers (20 women and 20 men) were asked about skin type, frequency of use of cosmetics, and recognition of related health effects, etc. in a survey. Subjects were divided into several subgroups and were compared for concentration of benzophenone-1 (BP-1) and benzophenone-3 (BP-3). Their urine was pretreated with enzyme hydrolysis and solid phase extraction. Determinations of BP-1 and BP-3 in the urine were made with LC-MS/MS. Results: Among the study subjects, 82.5% used basic cosmetics at least once per day, and 77.5% used sunscreens at least once per day. The concentrations of BP-1 and BP-3 of the males were 4.36 ng/mL and 9.16 ng/mL, respectively. Those of the females were 3.98 ng/mL and 5.07 ng/mL, respectively. The use of cosmetics was positively related to urinary benzophenone levels. Conclusions: BP-1 and BP-3 were widely detected among the university students. Cosmetic use was identified as a potential source. Implications of such exposure deserve further investigation.
