DSOM(Diagnosis System of Oriental Medicine), questionnaire for oriental medical(medicine) diagnosis is an online survey system containing 152 questions for female, 149 questions for male that asking the basic symtoms of 16 pathogenic factors(病機). The result of DSOM denotes reliability according to the level of major symptoms of each pathogenic factor. Standard level of reliability is equal to all 16 pathogenic factor basically except phlegm(痰). In case of phlegm(痰) we give different weight depending on whether the factor includes gray color under the orbit(痰飮氣) or not. To examine reliability of DSOM, statistical analysis has been done to the data of felmale 10101, male 1564 except for bad responses and stored between 1st April 2000 to 3rd June 2011. Based on the study, the conclusions were as follows. Reliability of DSOM. For female, all pathogenic factors showed over 85% confidence level except for phlegm 82.6%. For male, all pathogenic factors showed more than 90% confidence level except two factors, phlegm(痰) indicates 87.% and damp(濕) indicates 89.8%. HH rates among pathogenic factors were more than 50 points. For female, HH rates of other 14 pathogenic factors were all over 80% except for heat(熱) 78.2% and insufficiency of Yang(陽虛) 75.3%. For male HH rates of all pathogenic factors were more than 80% except HH rates of heat 78.2% and damp 77.8%. Research based on a degree of satisfaction of reliability derived from pathogenic factors with scores of HH results in for all 16 pathogenic factors showed over 85% of relatively high level of satisfaction for both sexes whose reliability standard come under 5~4 points. Comparing appearance frequency of pathogenic factors for both sexes. Male only displays higer than female in heat(熱). Whereas female were higher than male for other 15 pathogenic factors and the difference was biggest in heart(心) and least in insufficiency of Yin(陰虛). Comparing appearance frequency order of pathogenic factors for both sexes. Female outdistanced male in blood stasis(血瘀) coldness(寒) blood-deficiency(血虛) phlegm(痰), while male outdistance female in heat(熱) insufficiency of Yin(陰虛) deficiency of qi(氣虛). Male had lower average of each pathogenic factors than female except heat(熱) as well as deficiency of qi(氣虛).

Hyperprogressive disease (HPD) is a distinct pattern of progression characterized by acceleration of tumor growth after treatment with anti-PD-1/PD-L1 Abs. However, the immunological characteristics have not been fully elucidated in patients with HPD. We prospectively recruited patients with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer treated with anti-PD-1/PD-L1 Abs between April 2015 and April 2018, and collected peripheral blood before treatment and 7-days post-treatment. HPD was defined as ≥2-fold increase in both tumor growth kinetics and tumor growth rate between pre-treatment and post-treatment. Peripheral blood mononuclear cells were analyzed by multi-color flow cytometry to phenotype the immune cells. Of 115 patients, 19 (16.5%) developed HPD, 52 experienced durable clinical benefit (DCB; partial response or stable disease ≥6 months), and 44 experienced non-hyperprogressive progression (NHPD). Patients with HPD had significantly lower progression-free survival (p<0.001) and overall survival (p<0.001). When peripheral blood immune cells were examined, the pre-treatment frequency of CD39+ cells among CD8+ T cells was significantly higher in patients with HPD compared to those with NHPD, although it showed borderline significance to predict HPD. Other parameters regarding regulatory T cells or myeloid derived suppressor cells did not significantly differ among patient groups. Our findings suggest high pre-treatment frequency of CD39+CD8+ T cells might be a characteristic of HPD. Further investigations in a larger cohort are needed to confirm our results and better delineate the immune landscape of HPD.
The purpose of this study is to identify cross-cultural features among Korea, China, and Japan by comparing differences in facial awareness, attractiveness preferences, and consideration of facial parts in a group of Korean, Chinese, and Japanese men and women as they evaluated the faces of Korean women in their 20s. A survey was conducted targeting male and female Korean, Chinese, and Japanese college students in their 20s. Frequency analysis, ANOVA, Duncan test, factorial analysis, and reliability analysis, MANOVA were carried out using SPSS 18.0. The results of this study are as follows: Faces of Korean women in their 20s were evaluated by Korean, Chinese, and Japanese men and women in their 20s and were classified into four categories as 'Youthfulness', 'Classiness', 'Friendliness' and 'Activeness'. Differences in facial image awareness were observed depending on nationality and gender. Korean participants were found to place importance on overall morphological factors; The Japanese focused on the eyes; and the Chinese on the skin color. Women of all nationalities showed, on average, a higher awareness of facial parts than men. No significant differences in facial attractiveness preferences were found based on nationality or gender, but there were differences in how the participants evaluated faces for attractiveness, showing that reasons for preferences may vary even if the preferences are the same.

The purpose of this study was to search for the effective design process model f3r mass customized clothing. Therefore, this study was to propose two models of mass customized fashion design processes which were different in the customized degree and to compare their efficiencies and appropriateness with those of the existing fashion design process. The data was obtained from a survey of 150 females in their twenties and thirties living in Seoul and Gyeonggi during April in 2003. It was analysed by frequency, $X^2-test$, crosstabulation, correlation, t-test and multiple-regression. The results of survey were: Many respondents$(62.0\%)$ preferred mass customized products and mass customized design process model which suggested more choices to presumers. The mass customized design process was considered to be applicable to the present domestic clothing market. In the case of the whole respondents, color was a very important design element in mass customized design process model; because of this, the opportunity to choose colors will be essential in mass customized design process. In the case of respondents who have higher preference on mass customized products, textile(texture) was a very important design element. In the cases of both(whole respondents and respondents who have higher preference on mass customized products), style was the most important design element in fashion design process. To summarize, it proposed that to accept the mass customized clothing will be possible in this study. What is more, the guidelines to develope mass customized fashion design process model were suggested in this study.
A digital image usually has 8 bits of depth basically representing pixel intensity ranging for [0 255]. These pixel range allow 256 step levels of pixel values in the image. Thus the greyscale value for a given image is an integer. When we carry out interpolation of a given image for resizing we have to round the interpolated value to integer which can result in loss of quality on perceived color values. This paper proposes a new method for recovering this loss of information during interpolation process. By using the proposed method the pixels tend to regain more original values which yields better looking images on resizing.

The purpose of this study was to examine purchasing conditions and consumer complaint for outdoor sportswear items. The data used for a study were the complaint facts of 256 cases that were received at the Consumer Complaint Center of Gyeongnam YWCA during the period from July 2011 to April 2013. The statistical methods used to analyze data were Frequency Analysis and $x^2$-test by SPSS 14. The results of purchasing conditions analysis for outdoor sportswear items were as follows. According to outdoor sportswear items, purchasing place, purchasing price, and materials showed significant difference. The department store showed the highest ratio, but the ratio showed difference according to items. The price between over 100,000 won and under 200,000 won was most in case of T-shirts, padding, down jumper, aloha shirts, and pants. It showed as T-shirts and pants mixed spinning materials the most, jacket, padding, and down jumper used polyester the most, aloha shirts used cotton the most. The results of consumer complaint analysis for outdoor sportswear items were as follows. As a result of difference analysis for complaint occurrence place according to outdoor sportswear items, a laundry showed the highest ratio. As a result of difference analysis for the period used outdoor sportswear items until complaint occur, there was no significant difference. As a result of difference analysis for complaint type and contents according to outdoor sportswear items, the complaint types and contents were classified largely as change of color, change of shape, change of surface and touch, breakdown of subsidiary materials, and others.

In this paper, electroencephalographic (EEG) signal of one among subjects measured biosignal with visual evoked stimuli inducing the concentration was analyzed to detect the changes in the attention status during attention task fulfillment from January to February, 2011. The independent component analysis (ICA) was applied to EEG signals to isolate the attention related innate source signal within the brain and Electroculogram (EOG) artifact from measured EEG signals at the scalp. The consecutive accumulation of short time Fourier transformed (STFT) attention source signal with excluded EOG artifact can enhance the regular depiction of EPOCH graph and spectral color map representing time-varying pattern. The extracted attention indices associated with somatosensory rhythm (SMR: 12-15 Hz), and theta wave (4-7 Hz) increase marginally over time. Throughout experimental observation, the ICA with STFT can be used for the assessment of participants' status of attention.
In this study, nine scarf designs expected to be effective for accent design for the fashion style of new senior women were suggested by reflecting purchase behavior and scarf preference after conducting surveys and an analysis by targeting 136 new senior women in order to propose scarf design-matching with the preferences of new seniors. As a result of the study on the scarf purchase features of new seniors, it was revealed that the purchase time for scarves was mainly autumn and winter, even though it is regardless of season, and in spring and summer, they seldom purchased scarves. The purchase frequency was four times a year, and what they first thought of at the time of purchase was represented in the order of color, design, and the material of the scarf. They most preferred department stores, mixed and achromatic colors, cotton and silk fabrics, natural and geometric patterns, and long scarves of a rectangular shape. In the case of the consumer attributes of scarves, it was revealed that $50^{th}$ desired more individuality-oriented, unique scarf designs than $60^{th}$, and $60^{th}$ desired scarf designs with convenient management considering others' attention compared with $50^{th}$. As concepts for scarf designs, the aspects of individuality, co-existence, and maturity were extracted by reflecting the features of new senior women, and a total of nine scarf designs were suggested by developing three sub-designs for each concept.
We investigated the effects of a pulsed electric field (PEF) treatment on microbial inactivation and the physical properties of low-fat milk. Milk inoculated with Escherichia coli, Saccharomyces cerevisiae, or Lactobacillus brevis was supplied to a pilot-scale PEF treatment system at a flow rate of 30 L/h. Pulses with an electric field strength of 10 kV/cm and a pulse width of 30 µs were applied to the milk with total pulse energies of 50-250 kJ/L achieved by varying the pulse frequency. The inactivation curves of the test microorganisms were biphasic with an initial lag phase (or shoulder) followed by a phase of rapid inactivation. PEF treatments with a total pulse energy of 200 kJ/L resulted in a 4.5-log reduction in E. coli, a 4.4-log reduction in L. brevis, and a 6.0-log reduction in S. cerevisiae. Total pulse energies of 200 and 250 kJ/L resulted in greater than 5-log reductions in microbial counts in stored PEF-treated milk, and the growth of surviving microorganisms was slow during storage for 15 d at 4℃. PEF treatment did not change milk physical properties such as pH, color, or particle-size distribution (p<0.05). These results indicate that a relatively low electric-field strength of 10 kV/cm can be used to pasteurize low-fat milk.
The purpose of this study is to offer basic data to adolescents' cosmetic culture by investigating and analysing the choices made by female students who have been becoming principle consumers of cosmetics these days. Firstly, social and cultural backgrounds and concepts of N generation, and then characteristics and influencing powers of female students were reviewed. And this study also included questionnaire surveys of 500 female students in middle and high schools located in Seoul. Data were processed using a SPSS$^+$ program and analyzed by using frequency, percentage and the $X^2$-test. The major findings run as follows: Female students have the effects of spreading their words quickly and abilities of making a decision what to buy. And they accept consuming behaviors itself as a part of cultural lives. Therefore, industries have acknowledged them as new principal consumers with a powerful influence in the market. They also play an important role in active consumer as emotional generation who has distinct personalities and prefer fashion trends, changes and innovations. They show conformities with their peer groups and they also want to identify themselves with characters or stars. The cosmetic behaviors of female students relating to demographic characteristics showed a significant relation to grades, majors, school groups and places of residence. Female students have a lot of interest and knowledge about cosmetics. And they use various cosmetic products. This study demonstrated the age for using make-up for the first time has been becoming younger more and more. Recently, female adolescents tend to use face powder, lip gloss, mascara and eye shadow. It is assumed that cosmetic purchases of female students can be considered as an impulsive aspects. However, before purchases, the proportion of students having any particular cosmetic brand in mind previously has been increasing. They take into consideration skin safety, the quality of product and color, when purchasing cosmetic products.
