환경적으로 지속가능한 개발을 위한 폐기물의 통합적 관리 방안 (Integrated Solid Waste Management for the Environmentally Sound and Sustainable Development)

  • The costs of solid waste management have continued to increase. Stricter environmental regulations have been applied to waste management units. Future integrated solid waste management should be balanced between source reduction, recycling, energy recovery, and land disposal. To achieve more balanced solid waste management programs, more local governments must adopt diversion and recycling goals and finance to meet those goals. The hierarchy of integrated solid waste management must be enforced in a manner that is flexible enough to allow local governments to implement waste management facilities that match the communities' ability to pay for them. In establishing a hierarchy of integrated solid waste management, local governements have difficulties in implementing source reduction and recycling because of a lack of local control and inability to pay for new facilities. Integrated solid waste management involves selecting compatible options for facilities to manage the collection, recovery of energy and materials(transformation), and disposal of solid wastes efficiently. Waste Collection, transformation, and disposal must support source reduction and recycling activities.

  • 학술잡지 구입 예산의 구입비용 상승에 따른 압력으로 지난 수십년간 학술잡지의 선택에 영향을 미치는 요인들에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되어 왔지만, 학술잡지의 선택에 대한 만족할만한 이론적 틀이 제시되지 못하였다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 의학도서관에서 의학분야의 학술잡지의 선택에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 확인하여 이러한 이론적 틀을 제시할 수 있는 근거를 마련코자 한다. 본 연구는 상관관계 분석과 로지스틱회귀분석을 통해 학술잡지선택의 분산을 설명하고, 나아가 예측하는 통계적 모델들을 여러 변수조합을 이용해 제시한다. 또한 이러한 모델의 실제적 적용과 향후 연구방향을 논의한다.

  • The concept of portfolio is rarely understood and used in R&D management field. The conventional management technique in selecting R&D projects is scoring each projects and choosing projects based on the scores which are determined during evaluation. As a collection of good stocks is not necessarily a good stock portfolio, a collection of good R&D projects is not always a good R&D project portfolio. In this paper, framework and practical technique for constructing a R&D project portfolio are introduced. This technique can be easily applied in private and plublic R&D institutes.

쓰레기 종량제 정책의 분석과 평가 (Analysis and Assessment of Refuse Collection Polity)

  • This thesis is to analyze and assess a new refuse collection system that was based on the term of discharge based quantity and collection of refuse from the beginning on January 1, 1995.In the case study for the refuse collection policy of metropolitan Taegu city based on the year of operation, ie, before 1994, after 1995 and as of 1998, the refuse collection policy analyzed from current position and actual condition. The results of analysis as follows. In case of discharged refuse quantity was show 20.4% reduction than the operation was begun and more 5.8% reduction as of 1998.Under the operation of the refuse collection system, therefore, management of refuse and garbage, the reduction of discharged refuse, activation of refuse collection, Recycling and expansion of financial self-reliance increased efficiency of refuse collection system. In the conclusion, more perfect refuse collection system should be developed of implemented in the near future.

초등학교도서관의 자료 선정에서 자기 검열에 대한 영향 요인 연구 (A Study on Factors Influencing Self-Censorship in Selection in Elementary School Libraries)

  • 본 연구는 초등학교도서관의 자료 선정 과정 중 나타나는 사서(교사)의 자기 검열에 영향을 미치는 요인을 확인하여 자기 검열 행위를 줄일 수 있는 구조적 방안을 모색하는 데에 그 목적이 있다. 연구를 위하여 국내외 문헌 연구를 통해 자기 검열의 개념을 살펴보고 심층 면담을 통해 설문지를 개발하여 설문조사를 시행 후 통계적 분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 장서 개발 정책과 학교도서관운영위원회, 도서관 장서 관련 민원 요소에서 집단 간 유의한 자기 검열 차이를 발견하였고, 이용자 및 도서관 장서에 대한 사서(교사)의 인식에서 자기 검열 영향 요인을 확인하였다. 이를 바탕으로 학교도서관운영위원회의 심의 기능 강화, 이용자 항의 대응 지침이 포함된 장서 개발 정책 마련, 학교도서관 소장 자료의 폐기 절차 간소화 등을 제안하였다.

대학도서관의 참고 장서개발정책 기본요소 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Primary Parts of Reference Collection Development Policy in Academic Libraries)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 참고 장서개발정책의 작성지침 5개를 분석하여 그 기본요소를 파악하고, 이를 토대로 미국의 대학도서관에서 실제로 작성된 참고 장서개발정책 24개를 비교 분석해 봄으로써 참고 장서개발정책의 기본요소와 그 내용을 파악해 보기 위한 것이다. 대표적인 5개의 지침과 24개의 참고 장서개발정책의 분석을 통해 총 9개의 기본요소가 발견되었고, 이 요소들은 다시 5개의 핵심요소와 4개의 선택요소로 구분되었다. 5개의 핵심요소는 (1) 서문, (2) 참고장서의 범위, 크기, 수준, (3) 참고장서의 포맷, (4) 참고장서의 유형, (5) 참고장서의 관리(선정, 제적, 평가, 책임)였다. 본 연구를 통해 파악된 9개의 기본요소와 그 내용들은 앞으로 참고 장서개발정책의 작성을 시도하는 모든 대학도서관에서 기본 틀로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

AUTOMATED PROGRESS MEASUREHEMT FOR CONTRUCTION PROJECT

  • The progress is widely used as a critical index for successful construction project management. In spite of the importance of progress measurement, the excessive management effort to collect and maintain detailed data has been highlighted as a major barrier to measurement of highly accurate progress. In order to reduce the required workload and to enhance accuracy, several researches have been conducted. These researches can be categorized into two groups. First group focuses on automated data collection utilizing advanced technologies only for limited construction tasks. The second group is a research area where the standard progress measurement methodologies encompassing entire construction tasks are investigated. Topics include the adjusting the level of details, standardizing work processes, and applying flexible WBS. However, the techniques for automated data collection are not fully investigated yet in the second group. Combining these two research areas can provide a solution for more effective progress management in terms of enhancing accuracy and optimizing workload. However, there has been no comprehensive research addressing these two research groups in an integrated manner. In this context, the purpose of this paper is to propose a methodology that identifies the most suitable measurement method and data acquisition technology (e.g., GPS, RFID, etc.) for entire construction tasks of a project. The proposed methodology in this paper will be able to facilitate the selection process of data acquisition technologies for entire construction tasks of a project and to support the overall enhancement of automated progress management.

  • 어느 국가를 막론하고 공공도서관의 사회적 정체성과 역할모형은 역사성과 체계성을 겸비한 장서에서 발원한다. 그렇기 때문에 장서개발은 모든 공공도서관이 가장 중시해야 할 전문직 업무이다. 이에 국내외 공공도서 관계가 금과옥조로 삼는 고전적 장서개발의 정론이 직면하는 한계를 분석하고 디지털 오디세이의 신화를 논급한 다음에 미래 장서개발의 노선과 전략을 제시하였다.

  • Real-time control of on-site construction, based on high quality data, is essential to identify discrepancies between actual and planned performances. Additionally, real-time control enables timely corrective measures to be taken when needed to reduce the damages caused by the discrepancies. The focus of the presentation will be on our work, which uses automated data technologies to collect data needed for real time control.

  • Estimation based on current data of construction performances have become one of the critical subjects which many researchers have been interested in for the past decades. In order to accomplish accurate measurement and estimation of construction performances, the method of data collection stands the highest priority. However, there are many difficulties in data collection from construction jobsite due to the characteristics of the construction industry. With developments of new technologies in other industries, several technologies has recently initiated to be applied to construction field. Electronic tags based on the identification technology, automatic volume measurement based on laser scanning technology, and Global Positioning System (GPS) have been represented the technologies which show the high opportunity for being used in construction. This study reviews specific aspects of these technologies focused on the utilization in construction jobsite. Also, the challenges which these technologies need to overcome are discussed.
