황금(黃芩)의 포제 및 보관조건에 따른 성분변화 연구 (Study on the Variation of Components from Scutellariae Radix by Processing and Storage Condition)

  • Objective : This study was observed the variation of components from Scutellariae Radix (SR) by processing and storage. Methods : The main component of SR is analysed after various processing and also storage condition by HPLC. Result : 1. In wine-fried SR, the contents of baicalein, wogonin and oroxylin-A was significantly increased. However, the content of baicalin was decreased slightly. In charred SR, the contents of baicalein, wogonin and oroxylin- A was significantly increased. However, the content of baicalin was decreased greatly. 2. The contents variation of SR was not almost changed in room and cold condition. But in accelerated condition, the content of baicalin was slightly decreased, and the contents of baicalein, wogonin and oroxylin-A was significantly increased. 3. The contents variation of wine-fried SR was not almost changed in room and cold condition. But in accelerated condition, the content of baicalin was signifjcantly decreased. 4. The contents variation of charred SR was not almost changed in all conditions. Conclusion : The bioactivity of SR and wine fried SR might be changed by the contents varition during longterm storage. charred SR can be preserved more than two years in room and cold condition.

貯藏溫度와 充塡材料가 마의 貯藏과 品質에 미치는 影響 (Effect of Storage Temperature and Keeping Materials on Storability and Quality of Chinese Yam)

  • 최근 한방(韓方)의 생약제(生藥劑) 또는 생식용(生食用)으로서 마의 소비량은 급격히 증대되고 있어 년중(年中) 출하(出荷)를 위한 안정적인 저장방법이 설정되어야 할 것이다. 본 시험은 마의 저장에 관한 정보를 제공하고자 저장온도와 충전재(充塡材)에 따른 저장 또는 상품성과 관련된 형질의 변화를 조사하였던 바 그 결과를 요약(要約)하면 다음고 같다. 1. 충전재(充塡材)에 따른 건전개체율은 상온저장과 저온저장 모두 vermiculite를 이용할 경우 가장 높았고 상온저장에서는 흙, 저온저장에서는 PE film을 이용할 경우 가장 낮았다. 한편 중량감소율은 상온과 저온저장 모두 타충진재(他充塡材)에 비하여 PE film과 vermiculite를 이용할 경우 가장 낮았다. 2. 충전재과(充塡材科)에 따른 저장 후 상품성(商品性)과 관련된 명도(明度)와 수분함량(水分含量)은 저온저장에 비하여 상온저장에서 낮았으며, 충전재(充塡材)는 저온저장에서 PE film을 이용할 경우 명도 및 색도 a값이 높고 색도 b값이 낮은 반면, vermiculite를 이용할 경우 PE film과는 상반된 결과를 보였다. 3. 충전재료별 저장 후 상품수량은 건전개체율 또는 수분함량과 정(正)의 상관(相關)을 보인 반면, 부패정도가 $30\sim60%$, 60% 이상인 것, 중량감소율 또는 색도 b값과 부(負)의 상관(相關)으로 분석되었다.

ADDITIVE CATALYSTS FOR AN AUTOMOTIVE PHOTOCATALYST SYSTEM

  • As a promising catalyst reducing cold start emissions of automobiles, a photocatalyst systems has been studied. Since the photocatalyst is only activated by UV wavelength light, it needs no heat energy like a conventional TWC, therefore no light-off time. However, as a cold temperature catalyst to treat cold start emissions of a vehicle, previous studies on characteristic of photocatalyst have room for improvement in terms of performance and durability investigated from the viewpoints of performance and durability improvement. Eleven different coating samples were prepared with the combination of six kinds of additives and two kinds of photocatalyst materials. Then these samples were aged with a hydrothermal aging process. The performance of these samples was measured on a model gas apparatus with simulated exhaust gases. The durability was also analyzed with X-ray diffraction meter.

냉각성형공법이 트렁크 플로어 드로잉성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Cold Forming Method on Drawability Trunk Floor Panel)

  • This study is to investigate the effects of cold forming method with steel sheet of SCP3C to improve continuous productivity. Experiments were carried out in various working conditions, such as the number of stamping and the punch temperature. The effects of the punch temperature and the number of stamping on drawability of steel sheet of SCP3C as well as clearance and draw-in in the number of stamping were examined and discussed. More improvement of continuous productivity in case of cold stamping rather than by conventional stamping at room temperature is obtained. The optimum forming condition for drawing trunk floor panel of SCP3C is shown as the punch is cooled by coolant of $-5^{\circ}C$ and at the same time both the die and the blankholder are heated by stamping and frictional heat.

  • This paper is concerned with pressure welding, which has been known as a main bonding mechanism during the cold and warm forming such as clad extrusion or bundle extrusion/drawing. Bonding characteristics between the Cu and Al plates by pressure welding are investigated focusing on the weak bonding. Experiments are performed at the cold and warm temperatures ranging from the room temperature to $200^{\circ}C$. The important factors examined in this work are the welding pressure, pressure holding time, surface roughness, and temperature. A bonding map, which can identify the bonding criterion with a weak bonding strength of IMPa , is proposed in terms of welding pressure and surface roughness fur the cold and warm temperature ranges.

처리조건에 따른 조생온주밀감의 저온저장 특성 (Cold Storage Characteristics of Early Variety of Citrus unshiu Produced in Cheju with Various Treatments)

  • 제주산 궁천조생의 저장조건에 따른 저온저장 특성을 검토하였다. 상온저장에 비해 저온저장 감귤은 저장기간 중 가용성 고형물, 총당, 비타민 C의 변화가 매우 적었으며, 부패율과 중량감소가 각각 10% 이내 수준에서 비교적 신선도를 유지한 상태에서 3월 하순까지 저장이 가능한 것으로 보였다. 또한, 중량감소, 경도의 저하, 당함량의 감소는 저장기간 중에 계속하여 서서히 일어났다. 필름포장과 wax-coating은 중량감소와 외관향상에는 도움을 주었으나 장기간 저장에는 부패율이 증가하였다. 습도조절을 하지 않은 저온저장은 습도조절한 경우와 비교하였을 때 부패율과 중량감소가 컸다. 증산작용으로 인한 껍질수분의 감소에 따라 과육으로부터 수분이동이 발생하여 저장기간 중 과육율이 감소하였으며, 저장 60일 후부터 경도저하가 많이 일어나 조직이 연화됨을 알 수 있었다. 조기수확한 감귤에 비하여 완숙한 감귤이 부패율과 중량감소가 적어 저장 100일간을 기준하여 출하하는 것이 바람직하였다. 상온저장한 감귤에 비해 저온저장한 감귤은 저장 4개월 이후 출고하였을 경우 외관 및 맛에 비교적 우수하였으며, 출고후 필름포장한 감귤의 부패율은 급속히 증가하여 취급에 주의가 필요하였다. 조생온주의 경우 저온에서 장기간 저장이 어려움을 알 수 있어서 저장용 감귤의 특성을 고려하여 저장조건을 설정할 필요가 있었다.

Cu-Al-Mn계 형상기억합금에서 조성이 형상기억특성 및 냉간가공성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Composition in Cu-Al-Mn Shape Memory Alloys on the Shape Memory Properties and Cold Workability)

  • Cu-Al-Mn shape memory alloys of a variety of composition were characterized in terms of shape memory properties and cold workability. Cold workability tested by cold rolling indicated that the alloys solution treated in the ${\alpha}+{\beta}$ region have a higher ductility than those solution treated in the ${\beta}$ region. Also it is known that cold workability increased with the decrease in Al content in the ${\beta}$ region. This seems to be resulted from the fact that Mn addition causes to expand ${\beta}$ region toward lower Al content and lower order-disorder transition temperature, consequently, ${\beta}$ of excellent workability being frozen even at room temperature. Experimental results regarding shape memory showed that the properties were better with a higher Al contents at a given Mn content, which is closely related with martensitic transformation. It is also shown that super elasticity limit was enhanced with decrease in the yield strength of alloys because a lower yield strength seems to initiates slip at the lower applied stress.

열무 추출물과 Cold Shock가 김치 젖산균의 생육에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Yulmoo Extract and Cold Shock on the Growth of Kimchi Lactic Bacteria)

  • Yulmoo Kimchi becomes sour without carbonated taste when ripened at room temperature after being placed under cold temperature. The carbonated taste of Kimchi is reported to come from the hetero lactic fermentation of Leuconostoc strains. Yulmoo extract was made with methanol and added to four lactic bacteria strains originating from kimchi. The bacteria were also subjected to $1^{\circ}C$ for 24 hours as a cold shock treatment. after which Leuconostoc mesenteroide subsp. dextranicum KCCM 40708, Lactobacillus brevis KCTC 3102, Lactobacillus plantarum KCTC 3108, and Leuconostoc lactics KCTC 3528 strains showed a growth inhibition with the addition of Yulmoo extract at the concentration of 250-4,000 ppm. Leuconostoc mesenteroide subsp. dextranicum KCCM 40708, Lactobacillus brevis KCTC 3102, Lactobacillus plantarum KCTC 3108, and Leuconostoc lactics KCTC 3528, a strains appearing at the early stage of Kimchi fermentation, showed a higher growth inhibition following Yulmoo treatment in combination with the cold shock.

냉간가공된 TP304 스테인리스강 모재와 용접재를 이용한 반복 변형 및 손상 거동에 미치는 중성자조사 영향 모사 (Simulating Nuetron Irradiation Effect on Cyclic Deformation and Failure Behaviors using Cold-worked TP304 Stainless Steel Base and Weld Metals)

  • This study presents cyclic stress-strain and tensile test results at room temperature (RT) and 316℃ using cold-worked TP304 stainless steel base and weld metals. By comparing the cyclic hardening/softening behavior and failure cycle of cold-worked materials with those of irradiated austenitic stainless steels, the feasibility of simulating the irradiation effect on cyclic deformation and failure behaviors of TP304 stainless steel base and weld metals was investigated. It was found that, in the absence of strain-induced martensite trasformation, cold-working could properly simulate the change in cyclic hardening/softening behavior of TP304 stainless steel base and weld metals due to neutron irradiation. It was also recognized that cold-working could adequately simulate the reduction in failure cycles of TP304 stainless steel base and weld metals due to neutron irradition in the low-cycle fatigue region.

화간전(化肝煎)이 생쥐의 Immobilization-Stress 및 Cold-Stress에 미치는 영향(影響) (Effects of Hwaganjeon on Immobilization-Stress or Cold-Stress in Mice)

  • Purpose : This study is to examine the effects of Hwaganjeon water extract(HGJ) on immobilization-stress or cold-stress in BALB/C mice. Methods : We have Hwaganjeon water extract(HGJ) by freeze-dryer & melt it by a saline solution. We feed HGJ 500mg/Kg to 5mice, and add immobilization-stress by putting mice in plastic cylinder 10 hours, and add cold-stress by putting mice in $4^{\circ}C$ cold room 6 hours. Results : 1. HGJ decreased the serum level of histamine and corticosterone increased by immobilization-stress or cold-stress. HGJ inhibited the release of histamine from mast cells at the concentration of 1 mg/ml. 2. HGJ did not affect the cell viability of thymocytes decreased by immobilization-stress or cold-stress, but increased the cell viability of splenocytes decreased by immobilization-stress or cold-stress. 3. HGJ decreased the population of splenic $CD4^{+}$ and $CD8^{+}$cells increased by immobolization-stress or cold-stress. 4. HGJ enhanced the production of ${\gamma}$-interferon(IFN) and interleukin(IL)-2 decreased by immobilization-stress or cold-stress. Conclusion : These results indicate that HGJ may be useful for the prevention and treatment of stress via suppression of serum histamine and corticosterone level and enhancement of immune response.
