An study on the ramp tabs for thurst vector control symmetrically installed at the supersonic nozzle exit (초음속 노즐 출구에 대칭적으로 설치한 추력방향제어장치인 램프 탭의 연구)

  • Aerodynamic forces and moments have been used to control rocket propelled vehicles. If control is required at very low speed, Those systems only provide a limited capability because aerodynamic control force is proportional to the air density and low dynamic pressure. But thrust vector control(TVC) can overcome the disadvantages. TVC is the method which generates the side force and roll moment by controlling exhausted gas directly in a rocket nozzle. TVC is classified by mechanical and fluid dynamic methods. Mechanical methods can change the flow direction by several objects installed in a rocket nozzle exhaust such as tapered ramp tabs and jet vane. Fluid dynamic methods control the flight direction with the injection of secondary gaseous flows into the rocket nozzle. The tapered ramp tabs of mechanical methods are used in this paper. They installed at the rear in the rocket nozzle could be freely moved along axial and radial direction on the mounting ring to provide the mass flow rate which is injected from the rocket nozzle. In this paper, the conceptual design and the study on the tapered ramp tabs of the thurst vector control has been carried out using the supersonic cold flow system and schlieren system. This paper provides the thrust spoilage, three directional forces and moments and distribution of surface pressure on the region enclosed by the tapered ramp tabs.

They installed at the rear in the rocket nozzle could be freely moved along axial and radial direction on the mounting ring to provide the mass flow rate which is injected from the rocket nozzle. TVC of the tapered ramp tabs has the potential to produce both large axial thrust and high lateral force. We have conducted the experimental research and flow analysis of ramp tabs to show the performance and the structural integrity of the TVC. The experiments are carried out with the supersonic cold flow system and the schlieren graph. This paper provides to analyze the location of normal shock wave and distribution of surface pressure on the region enclosed by the tapered ramp tabs.

FCCL 제작 시 Cu Sputter 조건에 따른 Through Hole 특성 연구

  • In case manufacturing COF, through hole should be made to be used for a pathway connecting the conductive layers of its both faces. In case Cu-plating inside of through hole with electroless plating way, contact between Cu and PI film gets bad to be fell apart from PI by the impact of applying to the electric devices. Therefore, after sputtering is applying on inner through hole, then a method to perform electroplating process. In this study, after changing sputtering condition to manufacture FCCL, we looked the changeability of the upper PI and inner hole Cu layers. Making use of RF Magnetron sputtering equipment, we coated Cu thin film and Cu-plated on it through electroplating. After cold-mounting the completed FCCL, we examined hole section through an optical microscope. From the result of test, with parameters deposition pressure and deposition time, both the thickness of the hole plated layer and PI plated upper layer increased at regular rate, increasing the thickness of Cu sputter layer. However, from the result of test in increasing RF-power, we could know the increment rate of hole plated layer is considerably greater than that of PI plated upper layer. Therefore, we finally acquired good result; if you want only to increase the plated layer of inner hole, it's much better to increase RF-power.

A Study on the Improvement of Brake Judder in Korean Light Tactical Vehicles (한국형 전술차량 제동 시 차체 떨림 개선에 관한 연구)

  • Brake judder has been identified in some operating military units of Korean Light Tactical Vehicles(KLTV) with In-board brake systems to improve braking performance. Severe vibration generated while driving the vehicle may reduce the KLTV's driving stability and further lead to accidents. For the prevention of this, this study analyzes the root cause through the failure analysis on the vehicles with the brake judder identified. Furthermore, the improvement factor was derived by identifying a vibration transmission path by analyzing the vibration transmission mechanism. The study analysis confirmed that the vibration of the frame during braking in the tactical vehicle is a cold judder phenomenon, which is caused by an increase in disk thickness variation due to rust and foreign substances under excessive brake disc's run-out. In addition, it was confirmed that such vibration can be reduced by improving the mounting structure. So, an improvement method for each factor was suggested and its effectiveness was verified by comparison test. Finally, it is expected that the improvement plans derived through this study can be used in the development of a next military vehicle.

Discrimination between FRC-post and core according to the color difference (색상차이에 따른 FRC-포스트와 코어 사이의 구별)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to evaluate which FRC-posts were more distinguishable from core. Materials and Methods: Nine extracted single-rooted mandibular premolars with similar lengths (${\pm}0.5 mm$) and widths (${\pm}0.5 mm$) were endodontically treated and obturated. One specimen which the three roots were embedded in a cold mounting resin was made. 3 specimens were made by this method. Post spaces were prepared for the following post system: FRC $Postec^{(R)}$ Plus, MACRO-$LOCK^{TM}$ POST $ILLUSION^{TM}$ $XRO^{(R)}$, $Snowpost^{(R)}$. After three different posts were placed in the roots of a specimen, each three specimens received a direct core build-up: $Luxacore^{(R)}$ Dual A3, $Luxacore^{(R)}$ Dual blue, $Filtek^{TM}$ Z350 A1E. Digital images were taken of the post and core with and without air-blowing. We asked to fifty dentists and fifty dental college students which post was more clearly discriminated from the core. Results: In surveys, when core was $Luxacore^{(R)}$ Dual blue, among three types of posts people more easily discriminated the $Snowpost^{(R)}$ from core. When core was $Luxacore^{(R)}$ Dual A3, among three types of posts people similarly more easily discriminated $Snowpost^{(R)}$ from core. When core was $Filtek^{TM}$ Z350 A1E, among three types of posts people more easily discriminated distinguished MACRO-$LOCK^{TM}$ POST $ILLUSION^{TM}$ $XRO^{(R)}$ post from core. People more easily distinguished MACRO-$LOCK^{TM}$ POST $ILLUSION^{TM}$ $XRO^{(R)}$ post from core when temperature was lowered by air-blowing. Conclusion: Ability to discriminate between FRC-post and core is different according to color contrast. MACRO-$LOCK^{TM}$ POST $ILLUSION^{TM}$ $XRO^{(R)}$ posts are more discriminable when temperature is lowered by air-blowing.

  • This thesis is a study composed of eight chapters from 9. to 16. of the Maek Kyoung(脈經) Vol. VIII. ; the symptom & the pulse of Jaundice(黃疸), Malarial Disease(?疾). Carbuncle(癰腫) Intestines Carbuncle(腸癰), & c. It is as follows : Chapter 9 refers to the symptom, pulse, treatment and prognosis of Jaundice(黃疸) and Malarial Disease(?疾). Chapter 10 refers to the cause, symptom, pulse and treatment of Cardialgia(胸痺), Cardiagra(心痛) and Nephric Accumulation(賁豚). Chapter 11 refers to the symptom, pulse and treatment of Abdominal Fuliness(腹滿), Cold Mounting(寒疝) and Abiding Food(宿食). Chapter 12 refers to the symptom and pulse of Accumulation and Mass of the Five Viscera(五臟積聚). Chapter 13 refers to the cause, pathogenesis, symptom, pulse, treatment and prognosis of Terror and Palpitation due to Fright(驚悸), Hematemesis(吐血), Nasal Hemorrhage(?血), Metrorrhagia(下血) and Extravasated Blood(瘀血). Chapter 14 refers to the cause, pathogenesis, symptom, pulse and treatment of Vomiting(嘔吐), Hiccough(?) and Diarrhea(下利). Chapter 15 refers to the cause, pathogenesis, symptom, pulse and treatment of Atrophy of Lung(肺?), Pulmonary Abscess(肺癰), Lung-distention(咳逆上氣) and Phlegm(痰飮). Chapter 16 refers to the cause, pathogenesis, symptom, pulse. treatment and prognosis of Carbuncle(癰腫), Intestines Carbuncle(腸癰), Wound(金瘡) and Acute Eczema(侵淫瘡). There have been abundant investigations in China. But we couldn't find a clear result yet, and they were written in archaic texts and colloquial Chinese, therefore it is needed to be translated into Korean. And there was only one inaccurate translation with insufficient annotation. So I hope this study will be useful to develope Oriental Medical Diagnostics.

  • MIRIS is the main payload of the STSAT-3 (Science and Technology Satellite 3) and the first infrared space telescope for astronomical observation in Korea. MIRIS space observation camera (SOC) covers the observation wavelength from $0.9{\mu}m$ to $2.0{\mu}m$ with a wide field of view $3.67^{\circ}\times3.67^{\circ}$. The PICNIC HgCdTe detector in a cold box is cooled down below 100K by a micro Stirling cooler of which cooling capacity is 220mW at 77K. MIRIS SOC adopts passive cooling technique to chill the telescope below 200 K by pointing to the deep space (3K). The cooling mechanism employs a radiator, a Winston cone baffle, a thermal shield, MLI (Multi Layer Insulation) of 30 layers, and GFRP (Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic) pipe support in the system. Optomechanical analysis was made in order to estimate and compensate possible stresses from the thermal contraction of mounting parts at cryogenic temperatures. Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of mechanical structure was also conducted to ensure safety and stability in launching environments and in orbit. MIRIS SOC will mainly perform Galactic plane survey with narrow band filters (Pa $\alpha$ and Pa $\alpha$ continuum) and CIB (Cosmic Infrared Background) observation with wide band filters (I and H) driven by a cryogenic stepping motor.
