A Study on the Ballast Design of a Inductively Coupled Plasma Light Source based on Oscillation Theory (발진 이론에 근거한 유도결합형 방전광원의 안정기 설계에 관한 연구)

  • We studied on the design of electrical parameters for ICP(Inductively Coupled Plasma) light sources which can be effective to improve the electrical power efficiency of it. These parameters were derivated from Barkhausen theory about the oscillating condition of a ballaster. The relationships of $f-I_p$ and f-n were calculated theoretically and then these relationships were compared with the measured results about $I_p$ and power depending to a discharge length(l) of ICP light source. Finally, we can see that a specific range of induced current depending to a discharge length would be necessary to minimize the change of magnetization inductance and driving frequency at driving.

Specially, through a special quality experiment, saved Damping pulse form and treatment pulse form etc. variously Lately, embodied this to aid a little in disease treatment that follow that there is no invasion that there is no stimulation by medicine development Go amplitude treatment pulse (traditional magneto-therapy of greatly great that strong.) does curative effect greatest at short time and becomes thought that demand is magnified greatly at the future in this research.

Design and Analysis of A Mini Linear Optical Pickup Actuator

  • This paper describes a mini linear optical pickup actuator. To reduce the size, inner yokes are designed to guide the mover and outer yokes of permanent magnets are removed. Magnetic circuit method is used to determine the thrust force. Virtual path method is proposed to analyze the open magnetic circuit analysis. The magnetic circuit of the proposed actuator can be a closed circuit due to the virtual path model of the outer magnetic flux. The validity of virtual path method is evaluated by comparing to the FEM analysis. Structural vibration is investigated using FEM and the design of the mover is modified to improve the vibration characteristic. Dynamic characteristic experiments shows that the performance of the proposed actuator is enough to be used as a coarse and fine seeking actuator simultaneously and the thrust force margin for loading a focusing actuator is guaranteed.

  • In this study, to design aluminum scrap recycling equipment, fluid flow and thermal analysis considering electromagnetic phenomenon were carried out by using ANSYS program. The magnetic flux generated by electromagnetic pump has influence on fluid velocity of Al liquid metal with molten metal motion and thermal generation. To investigate the effect of the number of phase on fluid flow and thermal generation, electromagnetic force and magnetic flux were obtained by computer simulation. In addition, the results obtained by fluid flow and thermal analysis, recycling equipment of aluminum scrap with the cooling technology of electromagnetic coil, the most suitable phase and current were proposed.

Acoustic Analysis and Design of a Direct-Radiator-Type Loudspeaker (직접방사형 스피커의 음향특성 해석및 설계)

  • A systematic procedure for designing a direct-radiator-type loudspeaker has been developed, based on the numerical vibro-acoustic analysis and the Taguchi method. The finite-element model of the speaker cone has been used to calculated the vibration response of the cone excited by the voice coil. The vibration displacement of the speaker cone has been converted into the vibration velocity and used as a boundary condition for the acoustic analysis. The acoustic frequency characteristics of the loudspeaker have been calculated by the boundary element method. The numerical results have been verified by the experiments carried out in an anechoic chamber. Some design parameters have been selected by using the Taguchi method, and the variations of the acoustic characteristics due to the changes of the parameter values have been examined using the numerical model.

  • A magnetic field generator for small animal study was designed and constructed. For calculation of magnetic fields inside the cage, a three-dimensional calculation program was made. Using this, optimum electric current ratio and position of each coil were determined. Meanwhile, inductance of the generator was calculated for design of power supply. The field measurement results of the manufactured generator showed that the difference between maximum and minimum magnetic field at the living floor was less than 2%.

Influence of Concentric Saddle Shaped Coils on the Behavior of a Permanent Magnet Transverse Flux Machine with Segmented Construction

  • Flux concentrated permanent magnet transverse flux machines, FCPM-TFMs, with segmented stators require multi-turn concentric saddle coils to replace the ring coils, which are normally utilized in conventional layeredphase TFM constructions. In this paper, we investigate the influence of the shape of saddle phase windings and their parameter variations on the output torque productivity. Non-meshed coils evaluated via a finite element method (FEM) to examine the effect of the coil's location within one phase on machine performance. By using meshed coils, the analysis can be extended to inspect the distributions of magnetic field strength as well as current density in the coils. Throughout the study, the influence of design parameters on the output torque for two stator structures, i.e., a laminated and soft magnetic composite (SMC), are evaluated.

  • Vertical Colour Selection (VCS) is an option for slim CRTs with increased sharpness and brightness. The direction of self-convergence of the DY is changed to vertical in order to obtain better spot uniformity, but the line scan direction remains horizontal. Hence, no video conversion is needed, contrary to transposed scan. In this paper we address two issues: First, there is a high risk of moire, since the scan lines and the phosphor stripes are parallel. We propose a feedback mechanism guiding the electron beams towards the middle of the mask slots. As positive side effects, the brightness is improved and the shadow mask can be made of a cheap type of steel. Secondly, VCS deflection coils have to satisfy different requirements than coils in ordinary CRTs. We discuss the design rules for self-convergent VCS coils and present simulation results.

  • In this paper, the characteristics of the shielded inductive superconducting fault current limiter was designed and simulated. Parameters of design for superconducting tube, core and primary coil were first determined. And then according to the system characteristics such as load resistance, fault angle and source voltage, the simple power system composed of shielded inductive FCL was simulated by computer-aided numerical analysis. The flowing currents under the fault condition can be limited to about 10 A.

  • A method for simulating general characteristics and temperature characteristics of magnetizing fixture coil of the capacitor discharge impulse magnetizer-magnetizing fixture system using SPICE is presented. This method has been developed which can aid the design, understanding and inexpensive, time-saving of magnetizing circuit. As the detailed characteristics of magnetizing circuit can be obtained, the efficient design of the magnetizing circuit which produce desired magnet will be possible using our SPICE modeling. Especially, The knowledge of the temperature of the magnetizing fixture is very important to forecast the characteristics of the magnetizing circuits tinder different conditions. The capacitor voltage was not raised above 810[V] to protect the magnetizing fixture from excessive heating. The temperature estimation method uses multi-lumped model with equivalent thermal resistance and thermal capacitance.
