  • Network virtualization supports future Internet environments and cloud computing. Virtualization can mitigate many hardware restrictions and provide variable network topologies to support variable cloud services. Owing to several advantages such as low cost, high flexibility, and better manageability, virtualization has been widely adopted for use in network virtualization platforms. Among the many issues related to cloud computing, to achieve a suitable cloud service quality we specifically focus on network and performance isolation schemes, which ensure the integrity and QoS of each virtual cloud network. In this study, we suggest a virtual network platform that uses Xen-based virtualization, and implement multiple virtualized networks to provide variable cloud services on a physical network. In addition, we describe the isolation of virtual networks by assigning a different virtualized network ID (VLAN ID) to each network to ensure the integrity of the service contents. We also provide a method for efficiently isolating the performance of each virtual network in terms of network bandwidth. Our performance isolation method supports multiple virtual networks with different levels of service quality.

  • As cloud computing services become popular, the concern on the data security of cloud services increases and the efforts for the data security become essential. In this paper, we describe the pros and cons of cloud computing including the definition of cloud. Then, we discuss the regulations about the protection of user data defined in cloud promotion act. Previous studies related to the privacy protection and the entrustment of personal information in cloud computing are reviewed. We examine how to store the personal information depending on the cloud service model. As a result, we argue that the entrustment of personal information should vary according to the cloud service model and we propose how to protect the personal information on IaaS and SaaS cloud service models.

  • The cloud computing has propagated rapidly and thus there is growing interest on the introduction of cloud services in the public institution. Accordingly, domestic public institution are adoption of cloud computing impose and devise a plan. In addition, more specifically, is building a cloud computing system in the public institution. However, solutions to various security threats(e.g., availability invasion of storage, access by unauthorized attacker, data downloaded from uncertain identifier, decrease the reliability of cloud data centers and so on) is required. For the introduction and revitalize of cloud services in the public institution. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a public key based secure data management scheme for the cloud data centers in public institution. Thus, the use of cloud computing in the public institutions, the only authorized users have access to the data center. And setting for importance and level of difficulty of public data management enables by systematic, secure, and efficient. Thus, cloud services for public institution to improve the overall security and convenience.

  • The recent years, the cloud-based paradigm of cloud services are developed rapidly, it come with many a new problems. However, the collaboration between a individual with other users is still difficult. Cloud service is considered when users need to take advantage of security and the availability of cloud services. In this paper, we proposed an detection framework to detect an intrusion attack that threaten to cloud-based collaboration services and cloud security. Identify vulnerabilities and prepare for the safety of the collaboration services to create a variety of content in the cloud, it help to prevent the threats.

  • In order to reach Ultra-Reliable Low-Latency communication, one of 5G aims, Multi-access Edge Computing paradigm was born. The idea of this paradigm is to bring cloud computing technologies closer to the network edge. User services are hosted in multiple Edge Clouds, deployed at the edge of the network distributedly, to reduce the service latency. For mobile users, migrating their services to the most proper Edge Clouds for maintaining a Quality of Service is a non-convex problem. The service migration problem becomes more complex in high mobility scenarios. The goal of the study is to observe how user mobility affects the selection of Edge Cloud during a fixed mobility path. Mobility-Aware Service Migration (MASM) is proposed to optimize service migration based on two main parameters: routing cost and service migration cost, during a high mobility scenario. The performance of the proposed algorithm is compared with an existing greedy algorithm.

  • Cloud computing emerges as a new paradigm for deploying, managing and offering IT resources as a service anytime, anywhere on any devices. Cloud computing data center stores many IT resources through resource integration. So cloud computing system has to be designed by technology and policy to make effective use of IT resources. In other words, cloud vendor has to provide high quality services to all user and mitigate the dissipation of IT resources. However, vendors need to predict the performance of cloud services and the use of IT resources before releasing cloud service. For solving the problem, this research presents cloud service modeling on network environment and evaluation index for availability optimization of cloud service. We also study how to optimize an amount of requested cloud service and performance of datacenter using CloudSim toolkit.

  • With the development of information technology, the popularization of 5G and cloud computing has accelerated the circulation and digital transformation of information. In the network information society where information is rapidly increasing, it is very important to have the ability to manage and collect the required information. In particular, the information storage and management functions of cloud services are widely used among young people. This research takes the social factors of accepting cloud services as the breakthrough point, and takes young consumers aged 20-30 as the survey object, and designs a research model according to the development of cloud computing technology. The findings verify the influence of social factors on cloud service acceptance and 20-30-year-old consumers' intention to use cloud services. The partial and complete mediating effects of perceived ease of use were verified from the influence relationship between social factors and exploitation intention. Finally, this study provides inspiration for the development direction of cloud computing technology through empirical analysis.

  • The Internet of Things (IoT) is one of the main enablers for situation awareness needed in accomplishing smart cities. IoT devices, especially for monitoring purposes, have stringent timing requirements which may not be met by cloud computing. This deficiency of cloud computing can be overcome by fog computing for which fog nodes are placed close to IoT devices. Because of low capabilities of fog nodes compared to cloud data centers, fog nodes may not be deployed with all the services required by IoT devices. Thus, in this article, we focus on the issue of fog service placement and present the recent research trends in this issue. Most of the literature on fog service placement deals with determining an appropriate fog node satisfying the various requirements like delay from the perspective of one or more service requests. In this article, we aim to effectively place fog services in accordance with the pre-obtained service demands, which may have been collected during the prior time interval, instead of on-demand service placement for one or more service requests. The concept of the logical fog network is newly presented for the sake of the scalability of fog service placement in a large-scale smart city. The logical fog network is formed in a tree topology rooted at the cloud data center. Based on the logical fog network, a service placement approach is proposed so that services can be placed on fog nodes in a resource-effective way.

  • The fact that cloud computing services have been proposed in recent years, organizations and individuals face with various challenges and problems such as how to migrate applications and software platforms into cloud or how to ensure security of migrated applications. This study reviews the current challenges and open issues in cloud computing, with the focus on autonomic resource management especially in federated clouds. In addition, this study provides recommendations and research roadmaps for scientific activities, as well as potential improvements in federated cloud computing. This survey study covers results achieved through 190 literatures including books, journal and conference papers, industrial reports, forums, and project reports. A solution is proposed for autonomic resource management in the federated clouds, using machine learning and statistical analysis in order to provide better and efficient resource management.

  • The evolution of cloud computing over the past few years is potentially one of the major advances in information technology. However, if cloud computing is to achieve its potential, there needs to be a clear identification and understanding of the various issues involved, both from the perspectives of the providers and the consumers of the technology. While a lot of research is currently taking place in the technology itself, there is an equally urgent need for understanding the business-related issues surrounding cloud computing service. As more and more information on individuals and companies are placed in the cloud service, concerns are beginning to grow about just how safe and reliable an environment it is. For successful implementation of cloud services, it is necessary to establish the certification systems to ensure the safety and reliability of cloud services. This paper provides a safe and reliable framework for cloud service certification systems. In order to develop it, the critical issues related to service quality and certification of cloud services have been identified and the systematic framework for certification systems of cloud services and service provider domains have been developed. An evaluation method for the developed certification systems is also proposed.
